John McCain and Tina Fey tag teamed on Saturday Night Live last night. John’s wife, Cindy McCain, also joined in on the show’s opening montage. He did surprisingly well for a dusty old fart. He was able to poke fun at his “Maverick” shtick and did with a smile. Meanwhile, host Ben Affleck had his eyes glued to the prompter the entire time and failed to send me into a fit of giggles.
McCain even stuck around for the Weekend Update portion of SNL. Seth Meyers was without his co-anchor, Amy Poehler. She was busy giving birth and recovering. She welcomed her first child, Archie Arnett.
Good Lord. Was Jughead and his wannabe Burger King crown there too?
