Robert Pattinson Singing Career - Videos

Should the “Twilight” heartthrob find himself in the unemployment line, he has a back up plan.

Robert Pattinson revealed that he will fall back onto his love of music should the acting thing not work out. Being that he will be Edward Cullen in the next 3 installments of the vampire love story gripping teens everywhere, he should be ok.

“Music is my backup plan if acting fails,” he told the LA Times. “I don’t want to put all my eggs in one basket.”

He is no stranger to music. R.Patz Sparklepants had several tracks on the “Twilight” soundtrack. He prefers rap and insists that Eminem is his hero. Pattinson also has a respect for the rap community. While he idolizes Slim Shady he also has a special fondness of Jay Kay and Jamiroquai.

Trying to be modest, the new sensation stands by the fact that he doesn’t want to try and incorporate too much of his musical abilities into “Twilight.”

“That’s what I was scared about, it looks like I’m trying to get a music career out of it or something,” he said. “I’m not going to be doing any music videos or anything.”

He is actually really good. Someone get me a wet nap and a cigarette!

Just like how people say Rob’s looks are “otherworldly” and unique, his voice also sounds “otherworldly” and unique! Not the type of music I’m usually into, but it’s still cool. His songs fitted in really well into the Twilight movie.
