“Twilight” star Robert Pattinson is turning down a chance to make music for the sequel “New Moon.” The British actor is a talented composer, pianist and guitarist and wrote two songs for the original movie but wants to keep his music as a back up career. Taking a backseat to rock band “Paramore” who are again penning the title song for the soundtrack, says that pursuing music professionally was never his intention.
Per IMBD via OK! Magazine:
“I really didn’t want it to look like I was trying to cash in. Music is my back up plan.” says Pattinson.
Sparklepants song “Never Think” helped the soundtrack top the U.S. album charts for its release last year. He also had another song, “Let Me Sign” in the movie that did not make the soundtrack’s final cut. Pattionson will also have 2 or 3 songs on the soundtrack for his upcoming movie “How To Be“, which is available for preorder beginning March 1st. I’m sad! I so wanted to hear more of his music. He’s just brilliant. I love his songs way too much!

Honestly, the guy could record himself farting and it would hit #1…oh yea, and I would buy it.
Who wouldn’t? I don’t know you, Crista, but I love the way your mind works!
