“Twilight” actress and weed-lover Kristen Stewart was notably absent from this past Sunday’s Oscar ceremony. Buzz surrounding the possibility that Stewart would present with her co-star and my love slave, Robert Pattinson fizzled once Sparklepants showed up on the red carpet flying solo (Sorry honey, the Dame wouldn’t let me off work to join you!).
However, for some odd reason Stewart’s father, television producer John Stewart was at the ceremony and stopped for a few red-carpet interviews of his own. When asked by Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush as to why his daughter declined presenting at the ceremony, Stewart replied that KStew will present at the Oscars under certain conditions:
“When it’s a great movie, not just one that makes a lot of money.”
Ouch! Apparently, good old dad wasn’t as fond of the teen-vampire romance as the rest of us. I don’t think KStew’s feelings are too hurt as she seems to share his view on the film. I am led to believe she had to decline presenting because there wasn’t enough for her to find a designer willing to make her a dress out of hemp.
In an interview with this month’s Nylon Magazine, Stewart gave her two cents about “Twilight” Mania and the fans that have made the franchise so popular:
“Anywhere we’d go for ‘Twilight’ was a psychotic situation. The sound was deafening, and it’s thoughtless, as well… You get a slew of all these bulls**** questions like, ‘What’s it like to kiss a vampire?’ and ‘How much do you love Robert?’ Then you’ll get one that’s actually real, but you’re like, ‘No, I can’t right now, I can’t even consider [it].”
Unfortunately for Kristen, she is contractually obligated to continue making the “Twilight” saga. Hey, at least it’s a lot of money for weed and munchies, right?

That is why I am such a huge fan of hers!!! Why should she lie? She has never been in that Disney BS or other projects that compromised who she was. She picks alot of Indie films with not much pay because she is not in it to make millions off of us. She had never heard of Twilight & the hoopla surrounding it or I doubt if she would have auditioned at all. She is never going to be one of those teens who are doing every thing in Hollywood to be in the tabloids & get rich. I am so glad she is who she is even if you hags hiding behind your computers spewing venom daily about her smoking pot, continue to hate her. You are poor excuses for human beings. Alot only hate her because her co-star (Robert) & her are so close! You think he will care or think any less of her for this? Not hardly! That’s why he’s so crazy about her now. She says what she thinks & she’s not like the rest of the teeny boppers in tinseltown who are drying out right now. I love the Twilight saga still & this makes me like her even more!
She’s not my favorite person from the movie, not even a close second (of course, we all know who my favorite is). She just seems to really go out of her way to diss the movie. She should remember is made her a house-hold name!
One more thought (I hit the submit button too soon). Of course the papparazi asks stupid questions, that’s their job. It’s not rocket science. But she should learn you don’t bite the hand that feeds you. And you definately don’t want to pi** off a nation of hormonal teenage girls. I know how they can be, I raised some of them. Actors want their name in th papers and they want to be admired. If they didn’t, they’d find another line of work. And don’t tell me she wasn’t hoping the movie would be a hit. Like I said, if you don’t like the scrutiny, and dumb questions, throngs of adoring fans, and cameras following your every move, then find another line of work!
Whoa, slow down KStew fan! Venom? Hardly! I like Kristen, I just think it was a poor choice of her father to say that the movie that is now helping his daughter land more roles was not good. I know “Twilight” wasn’t Oscar worthy, but he’s biting the hand that’s feeding his daughter as well.
And PS Weed is illegal. If she wants to do it, that’s her business, but perhaps her front porch isn’t the best location for partaking in that activity.

Okay she may not be my most adored actress, but at least she is not an absolute fake on what she thinks.Many stars on the screen or whatever, are mostly telling lies saying they LOVE what they do. So yeah I don’t really love Kristen, but she can at least be real.
I’ve never had a problem with Kristen, except her taste in clothes and the fact that she always stands with her legs two feet apart. But I think it’s unnecessary for her to bad mouth the film that made her famous, and her teeny bopper fans don’t need to hear that negative dribble or see her smoking weed on her front porch. Oh, by the way, Hag, keep spewing that venem – I love it!

Everyone has a right to have an opinion when the question is asked, but exercising that right is at your discretion. There is such a thing as being gracious – or is there anymore?
….I blame the media. They make twilight seem petty.
I wish they would lay off and give it back, you know what I mean?
Do I blame Kristen for feeling this way? NO.
do I think it bad of her to smoke weed? NO. Is she endangering anyone else? is she coming into ur house and telling the children to do it? NO.

At first, when i read her Dad’s comment, I was upset. Still am pretty damned upset.
I wish the stars could feel like they are creating ART (which is what this particular set of actors do) like they set out to do.
instead they are constantly hounded about bullshit that doesnt have anything to do with theyre talent.
I am just SICK of it.
