Emma Watson NOT Dead In Car Crash

We usually steer clear of fake celebrity death stories, but we look out for our readers…because we LOVE you!!! However, we’d love to report Emma Watson Pregnant with Daniel Radcliffe’s baby, but I don’t count on that happening any time soon.

It seems that over the past 24 hours, the internet has become a frenzy of rumors that “Harry Potter” star Emma Watson died in a car accident. This rumor is, as usual, simply unture. Emma is alive and, from what we hear, well.

Los Angeles, CA- Millions are in shock after Emma Watson died overnight in a car crash. The 19 year-old actress, most famous for her roles in the Harry Potter films, was killed while being driven back to hotel after a screening of her latest movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, when a car collided with her vehicle. Watson is reported to have died at the scene. Her relatives have so far refused to comment, only quoting that they are ‘too distraught’ to speak with the media.

Police are questioning witnesses about two men who reportedly fled the scene following the crash. The two men are said to be in their early twenties, one caucasian and the other hispanic. Anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities immediately.”

This story likely began as a result of multiple internet searches from Potter fans seeking to find out if Watson’s character, Hermione Granger, dies at the end of the last book. We happily will let you know that, like Emma herself, Hermione is alive and well at the end of the Potter series.

However, the real danger with this story is that several URL links on this story are virus encrusted. That’s right kittens. It’s all an elaborate hoax designed to crash your computer—and bad.

Please steer clear of all stories about Emma’s possible death. Come to Hollywood Dame for your completely disease-free gossip (we take our antibiotics regularly). Huzzah for free clinics!

Note By The Dame: First of all if she were dead the big sites would be all over this and You Tube wouldn’t be out-scooping TMZ and the like. Someone claimed they are just waiting for details. No site or news outlet would wait. At the very least the announcement she was dead with they typical “story developing” tag would be up. So I am calling BS on this. Plus if you do go to the site claiming this you will be the lucky recipient of a virus. Finally several phone calls made to insiders have told me she is fine.

UPDATE: To further the hoax busting the Digg story that was making rounds claiming she died has been deleted. Likely do to the fact that it was a false story. Now, Emma’s rep, Jo has confirmed she is not dead stating that the hoax was “horrid nonsense clearly aimed at mischief making. I have to agree with her.

T.R. Knight Trash-Talks “Greys Anatomy”

Now that ex “Greys Anatomy” star T.R. Knight is officially done with the show, he’s speaking very openly about feelings towards the show and what really happened with Isaiah Washington on set. Recently interviewed by Michael Ausiello about his departure, Knight said his decision was based purely on the bad blood he has been harboring for series creator Shonda Rimes, saying he found it “frustrating” she took nearly three months to publicly condemn Isaiah for his use of an anti-gay slur. Adding more fuel to the fire was when Rimes also suggested to Knight that he keep his sexuality behind closed doors even though he felt coming out of the closet would help the scandal.

Per EW:

“I think she was concerned about having my statement come out so close to the [initial] event,” he said.

Rimes denies that accusation, claiming she thought it would be “awesome” for Knight to come out, and that he would be “totally supported.” However, the icing on the cake for Knight was his lack of screen time and lack of connection with his character, George, during the last few seasons. For the first nine episodes of season five, he appeared on screen a total of only 48 minutes, compared to the 114 minutes for Sandra Oh’s character Christina. Knight says he resented and loss respect for his character and the people behind it.

Per EW:

“My five-year experience proved to me that I could not trust any answer that was given [about George],” Knight said. “And with respect, I’m going to leave it at that. There just comes a time when it’s so clear that moving on is the best decision.”

Costar & best friend Katherine Heigl initially disagreed with her friend, feeling as though the problems could be worked out. But by the time he did leave, she felt happy for him because he was ready to move on. To Knight, it seems that walking away from the show is a relief despite walking away from a top 10 show and a $14 million contract.

Per EW:

“From an outsider’s perspective, I get the [impression that] ‘He’s just a spoiled actor…he doesn’t know how good he has it,’” he says. “There are a lot of people who would like to be in my position. But in the end, I need to be fulfilled in my work – that’s more important than the money. [So] that’s the goal. If I’m lucky to ever work again.”

Good for you Knight! Grey’s wont be the same without him, but a human being has to do what will make him or her the happiest. We wish you the best of luck!

So You Think You Can Dance Breast Cancer Dance – Video

In a touching and well put together dance, two of the contestants from “So You Think You Can Dance” convey the story of a woman with breast cancer. Melissa and Ade danced to the choreography of Tyce DiOrio and the song was called “This Woman’s Work.” It was a lovely piece.

The SYTYCD will also be celebrating their 100th show featuring Katie Holmes who will be dancing.

Britney Spears the New Miracle Worker

According to many of her superfans, the troubled pop princess is the Jesus. A larger group of fans that have claimed that Britney Spears has saved their lives has formed to create a movement of Spears therapy. The BBC did a documentary of the fans’ dedication and stories of Brit’s life saving powers called “Britney Spears Saved My Life.”

An examination of the Spears obsession took place during the documentary and a doctor took a stab at why people (with a focus on teens) have such a following for her.

Via Newsweek:

“The Beatles, Elvis, Madonna, Zac Efron—each has had the power to make grown women (and men) faint or cry. Teens are particularly susceptible to the power of music, says neurologist Daniel Levitin, because of the way their bodies and brains are changing: a combination of raging hormones.”

He suggests this is why many have claimed that she has saved their life. One girl in particular stated that Britney was her only reason to live and prevented her from suicide. Others thank Spears for getting them through eating disorders, depression and helped them accept their sexuality. Another fan claimed her version of “My Prerogative” helped free him from the clutches of Jahova’s Witnesses.

I should join this movement. Because it was Britney who inspired me to be a celebrity blogger due to the fact that a trip to Starbucks will knock a story about the war in Iraq off the front page. Ho plays my bills. I should send a nice gift basket filled with Red Bull, Easy Mac and fuzzy handcuffs.

Solange Knowles Shaved Her Head – Photos

Solange Knowles, better know as Basement Baby by my idol over at Dlisted, shaved her head. Solange has been living in the shadow of her older sister Beyonce. She once stated that she was so jealous of her older sister’s success that she might “go Britney Spears crazy.”

‘I get asked about Beyonce all the time but I try and make fun of it. Sometimes I say she’s not my sister. Other times I say I’ve stuffed her in my suitcase and sent it to Dubai. I have to have fun with it or I’ll turn into Britney – shave my head and go totally crazy.’

This is hardly a moment of insanity. This is a daddy issue in the form of a haircut.

Rupert Everett: Michael Jackson’s a Freak and Better Off Dead

Prince Charming from the “Shrek” films and Julia Robert’s gay sidekick in “My Best Friend’s Wedding” is a bit of tactless bitch. Rupert Everett was chatting with the Daily Mirror when the subject Michael Jackson came up. The actor held back nothing and talked about the fact he wanted to sleep with Jackson when he was teenager (who didn’t I ask!) and said his death was “fortuitous.”

It’s 7pm in a busy Italian restaurant just off New York’s Broadway and Rupert Everett is in full gossip mode. As the pre-theatre dining crowd crane to eavesdrop, he leans in and says in a slightly too-loud stage whisper: “I would have leapt at the chance of sleeping with Michael Jackson when I was 14.”

An elderly lady blushes beetroot red, and a waiter almost drops a plate of pasta. Everett takes a sip of his red wine, blissfully unaware of the shock he has just caused… Not that Everett, whose own brief foray into the pop world included singing backing vocals on his mate Madonna’s version of American Pie, was any fan of Jackson’s.

“He was a freak,” says Everett, who at 50 is the same age Jacko was when he died. “He looked like a character from Shrek. He was a black to white minstrel. He was crucified by that court case when he was accused of child molestation – that killed him. He personified the pain and anxiety of a black man in a slave country. We all watched as he changed from black to white. He was living performance art. I think it was fortuitous that he died. He was supposed to be doing 50 concerts in London.

“It wouldn’t have mattered how good or bad he was. He wouldn’t have managed to do all of them and the press would have destroyed him.” Everett believes that Jacko’s death may even spell the end of modern-day celebrity itself. “You cannot divide the music from the person,” he says. “I think his life – and death – is a great lesson.”

Egads. I bet his rep is pouring herself a big gulp full of vodka and snacking on some pop tarts in anticipation of the shiz storm headed her way. Oh…wait…that’s my morning. Meh, generally speaking I am sure that’s how everyone rolls.

Shakira Wants To ‘Du-et’ With Robert Pattinson

Yes Twi-Hards, yet another hottie is pining after our beloved Robert Pattinson. This time, it’s Columbian singer and hip-shaker Shakira who wants a piece of Sparklepants.

The singer recently completed her next album, ‘She-Wolf’, and was turned onto the ‘Twilight’ pandamonium by the president of her record label when he drew comparisons between her tunes and the vampire love story.

However, she claims to be a fan of all things ‘fantasy’ and goes so far as to say she would choose ‘Harry Potter’ over Edward Cullen simply because the Potter franchise has been around longer. Uh huh. Shakira and Daniel Radcliff is a match I would pay money to watch.

But she doesn’t rule out the potential of making sweet music with Pattinson.

“That doesn’t mean she wouldn’t be interested in a little musical collaboration with RPattz, who plays guitar and piano and recorded vocals for two songs on the ‘Twilight’ soundtrack.”

“I’ve heard he’s a great singer and a great musician,” she said. “If those rumors are true — yeah, of course, why not?”

Again, it’s a looong line. Perhaps you can read the Harry Potter series while you wait?

Tim Burton’s ‘Alice In Wonderland’ Trailer – See It Here!

It doesn’t come out until March 2010, yet Tim Burton’s trailer for his much anticipated “Alice in Wonderland” feature film is blowing up YouTube.

The movie stars a plethora of Hollywood’s who’s-who (including Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, and “New Moon’s” Michael Sheen). However, like all Burton films, the lead belongs to Johnny Depp-the last of the dying breed of movie stars.

We brought you pictures of the cast a while ago (see those again by clicking here). What do you think? Like all Burton films, I am totally creeped out. However, I had nightmares for a year after seeing Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers video for ‘Don’t Come Around Here No More’. This may have something to do with it. Seriously-she turns into a cake and they cut and serve her. That’s even too twisted for me.

Olsen Twins Hazed Into Council of Fashion Designers of America

The mini moguls who made their start in Hollywood with the moniker “you got it dude” have been inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America. The Olsen twins were named worthy to join the elite fashion club.

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen will rub elbows with fellow inductees Alexander Wang, Jason Wu and Maria Pinto at a dinner in late October to be officially hazed.

I am just picturing Diane von Furstenberg making everyone role around on the ground while she yells: “Air Raid Bitches!”
