Rihanna on ‘Good Morning America’ Interview - Video
F**k love is Rihanna’s message as she talked about the abuse she had endured for years from her boyfriend, Chris Brown. The “Umbrella” singer has opened up about the pre-Grammy fight that left her bloody, bruised and her secret aired out the world.
She spoke with Diane Sawyer and cited repeatedly going back to Chris as her biggest mistake. Rihanna stated she loved Brown and returned to his side 8 or 9 times after he had beaten her. Realizing she was a role model, she urged women going through the same domestic abuse to remove themselves from the situation no matter how much you think you’re in love.
“Don’t react off of love. Eff love. Come out of the situation and look at it as a third person and for what it really is. Because love is so blind.”
