Adam Lambert thinks one of his tunes is perfect for the “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” soundtrack with his song “Suburban Decay.” Lambert already had success in with his track “Time for Miracles” that was featured in the film “2012” but now hopes to sink his teeth into the popular vampire franchise.
Per MTV:
“It’s a great song and I hope to perform it someday, and I think it will find a home, on a soundtrack or something … maybe ‘Twilight,’ ” he told MTV News. “It just didn’t quite fit [in my album]. It’s very theatrical. … It’s very campy, and it was just a bit too campy for the album as a big picture. Hey, ‘Eclipse’ … Want my song? It’s kind of about vampires,” he offered, noting a verse about “bloodlust.”
He originally wrote the song for his debut album, but the song was dropped from the final track listing. Although the vibe of the song didn’t go with the rest of his album, Lambert thinks the track would be the perfect accompaniment to the heightening love triangle between Bella, Jacob, and Edward.
Ok, I’m going to have to veto this. Every attention-seeking, glory-grabbing, fame-hungry sensationalist (and their sister) is going to try to do something to become part of this franchise or to monopolize on it. Lambert falls into the above-mentioned category and is not right for the Twilight Saga. No thanks Adam Lambert – I love the “Twilight” and “New Moon” soundtracks, and I want to be able to love “Eclipse’s” too!
ok so adam is cute and all but sucks ass please oh please don’t put him on the soundtrack.
i love the twilight series but adam lambert would just ruin it! if he is on the soundtrack i will not buy it. no way no how. he is awful. all he does is screech and stick out his tounge they need to stick to bands like muse and radiohead for the soundtrack. stick to people with real talent!

I love Adam, but hate Twilight. Why oh why, Adam, would you associate yourself with that atrocity?
I think Adam should be given a shot at the Eclipse soundtrack. His voice is incredible and addicting – just like vampires. Why would you have the veto power just because you don’t like Adam hollywood dame? Who cares who he’s in the bedroom with? There are no heterosexuals who go around the streets stating “hey everyone, I’m heterosexual” so why on earth is everyone always into other’s sexual business especially if they’re into same sex relationships? He’s fantastic and one of the most talented singers in this country and internationally as well. Get off the homosexual thing – no one cares and he should be given an equal chance based on his incredible talent.
No way!!! Please no, I love the Twilight series, bought both Soundtrack albums. It will be soooo wrong to hear him singing while watching the film. I don’t care about his sexuality. He just seems too desperate for the popularity…trying hard to be the male Lady Gaga. And with his penchant for screeching high notes, ugh, no.
