Home movies of Marilyn Monroe smoking pot have been sold and plastered all over the net. A woman claims she had found the video footage of Monroe smoking a joint after cleaning out her attic.
“I had it up in my attic all this time,” says the woman who shot the film, basically a home movie. The friend of Marilyn, who doesn’t want to be named publicly, said she regularly hung out with the starlet in the 50s, and thought nothing to be hanging out with her. “Home movies, that’s all it was. It was never a big deal for me.”
The video owner said her small gatherings that included the “Some Like it Hot” starlet happened a lot. She also mentioned that the marijuana didn’t have much of an affect on Marilyn.
“It was all real casual, it was just friends hanging out,” she said. “She was the same [after smoking] — a little giggly.”
The owner has since sold the film for $275,000 and put a brief clip on the net for another undisclosed figure. It is being assumed the footage was captured in 1958 or 1959.
