Diane Sawyer is pulling an Oprah and leaving Good Morning America. She is taking her gin soaked smiled to World News and filling the vacancy left by Charles Gibson. This will be her final week on GMA.
“This is going to be my last week, after 10 years here at Good Morning America. I’ve calculated — 2,881 shows. Roughly.” Sawyer said adding, “I hope you celebrate with us this week, laugh with us this week,” Sawyer said.
It is sad. She was my favorite because she was a happy drunk who slurred her way through every show hiding a drank in her boot flask. Nothing says ‘Good Morning’ like a mojito and Diane.
