Former model turned “Top Chef” host Padma Lakshmi has welcomed a baby girl! Krishna Thea Lakshmi was born Saturday and is Lakshmi’s first child.

Per People:

“Mother and baby are well and happy,” her rep tells People.

Padma announced she was expecting last October and the pregnancy was considered “a medical miracle” because she suffers from endometriosis, a condition that can lead to infertility. She has yet to reveal the identity of the baby’s father but there’s speculation that the daddy is Adam Dell, a venture capitalist who teaches at Columbia Business School in NYC. Other names that have surfaced in connection with her pregnancy include Teddy Forstmann and celebrity chef Daniel Boulud.

Renee Zellweger Refusing To Pack On Weight For Bridget Jones 3

Renee Zellweger doesn’t seem too keen on the idea of packing on the pounds again for the third installment of a “Bridget Jones” film after producers have told her she needs to gain 30 pounds on her small frame. She is reportedly trying to persuade producers to downsize her character to look more like her. Rumors are reporting Zellweger fears that plumping up might put a strain on her relationship with boyfriend Bradley Cooper. She is said to blame the demise of her previous relationship with Jack White due to having to gain weight in the first two Bridget Jones movies. But, in true Hollywood fashion, her rep claims there is no truth to the speculation.

Per Hollywood:

Her rep tells GossipCop.com, “(The story is) so not true. Renee more than anyone would be true to the character.”

Other reports circulating says that Zellweger has even suggested wearing a fat suit while filming the third film, which are also being denied. Renee recently showed up at the Berlin Film Festival looking a little fuller in her mid-section, kicking baby rumors into high gear. No statements from Cooper or Zellweger have been released about the Mini-Cooper as of yet, but could that be what is really behind the negotiation holdup for Bridget Jones?

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Leave BAFTA Awards Together – PHOTOS

They tried to keep it coy and pretended to be totally oblivious of each other at the 2010 BAFTA Awards, but you can’t sneak any where you are a member of the Twilight entourage.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart managed to remain apart for the entire award ceremony and even through the after party. However, as the couple tried to make a sneaky getaway, they were photographed leaving together.

Jamie Campbell Bower and Bonnie Wright made their debut as an official couple (click HERE to read about Bonnie’s confirmation of being Jamie Campbell Bower’s girlfriend.) It is rumored that Pattinson and Stewart don’t have the luxury of being open with their relationship. Summit has put the kibosh on any public displays of romance between the two so that the Bella/Edward/Jacob relationship will be believable on screen and the Team Jacob factor will be bankable.

Angelina Jolie Reunites with Father, Jon Voight – Photos

While on operation Jolie-Pitt Happy Family Photo Op (code name Billy Goat and Voodoo Vadge Risotto) the family fun also included Angelina Jolie’s estranged father, Jon Voight. The couple went through split rumors and made Jennifer Aniston’s loins quiver with joy. Alas, Aniston while have to continue on her tour of the Northern American Man-Whore and deal with John Mayer and Gerard Butler booty calls. Brad and Angie put on a show of unity in Venice that included a drag rendition of “We Are Family” circa “The Birdcage.” Ok, maybe that’s a stretch but it would have made it far more interesting/believable. Voight, who at one point admitted Angelina “had serious emotional and mental problems,” which caused the initial feud, joined the family rodeo abroad and smiled as they loaded children into a water taxi. Rumor is that Voight and Jolie reconciled late last year but this is their first photo op. It’s easy to see that Shakira (aka Zahara) is throwing Jon some shade and isn’t too keen on his Grampy attempts.

BAFTA Awards 2010 – Full Winners List, Photos, Video

The 2010 BAFTA Awards took place last night. The accolades are the British equivalent to Hollywood’s Oscar. You all know what a sucker I am for the Brits, so of course I am not about to snub the event just because I am a jaded American.

[Kristen Stewart Wins Rising Star Award at 2010 BAFTA Awards- Video]

Mo’Nique, who recently won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress, took home another prize for her role in “Precious.” Kristen Stewart was also given the nod for the Rising Star Award. Colin Firth and Carey Mulligan won Best Leading Actor and Actress. Firth nabbed the award for his work in the film “A Single Man” while Mulligan received the BAFTA award for her role in “An Education.” Meanwhile, “The Hurt Locker” took top prize as Best Film as the director, Kathryn Bigelow, triumphed for Best Director.

On the gossip end of the awards… Bonnie Wright and Jamie Campbell Bower made their debut as an official couple. Bonnie, Harry Potter starlet, told reportedly told OK! that they were an official couple and would walk the BAFTA red carpet together. Indeed they did. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart played coy as they avoided couple-y photo ops while on the carpet and at the awards. However, Pattinson and Stewart were spotted leaving together after the awards after parties (see photo below!). Many were turned off by his signature unicorn patch being deflated into a greasy and wet looking mane of hair.

Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish Split

Looks like Abbie Cornish took a lesson directly from the Reese Witherspoon playbook.

The Aussie actress has apparently ended her relationship with Witherspoon’s ex-Ryan Phillippe. The break comes after weeks of speculation that Phillippe was unfaithful to Cornish. Ryan was spotted doin’ his ho-stroll at various nightclubs and was even linked to the likes of Lindsay Lohan (read about that train-wreck by clicking here).

Via People:

“Abbie ended the relationship with Ryan and she moved out of their home,” the rep tells PEOPLE.

On Sunday, the actress was spotted removing her belongings from the house she shared with Phillippe while he visited a friend with children Ava and Deacon.

Phillippe’s marriage to Reese Witherspoon ended following reports that he had become involved with Cornish during production of the movie ‘Stop Loss.’

I do enjoy that Cornish’s publicist pointed out that it was she who ended the relationship. Ryan’s people did not return any calls for comment.

Scotty Lago Racy Photo Controversy – SEE IT HERE

Scotty Lago is in a bit of trouble with the U.S. Olympic Committee. The snowboader has fallen victim to some racy pictures. He placed his bronze medal around his waist and someone snapped photos of a girls kissing the medal as it dangled in front of his crotch. Another photo shows the same woman biting his award.

After the racy photos of Lago showed up on the net, he apologized to the Committee and started packing. Scotty would have been asked to leave Vancouver if he didn’t voluntarily go says TMZ.

He agreed to leave the Olympic Village on his own accord, but sources close to Lago tells TMZ he received an ultimatum from the U.S. Olympic Committee: either say you’re sorry and go … or get ejected from the Olympic Village. As for when we might hear from Lago himself … we’re told he’s in a “blackout period” — meaning he can’t talk about the incident at all until March 3.

Being that they hand condoms out like candy on Halloween at every Olympic village I am pretty sure that this tame compared to the hump-apalooza going on off camera.

Hilary Duff Engaged – Proposal PHOTOS

Hilary Duff, who’s been dating NHL star Mike Comrie since 2007, maybe close to hearing the sounds of wedding bells! Hilary has been sporting a ring on her left ring finger and sent engagement rumors flying.

Her mother/manager laughed off rumors to Hollywood Life stating: “I don’t think that’s right.”

Either photographers caught what appears to be a proposal or camp Duff is biding their time for a magazine cover with Hilary sporting her rock and a case of the giggles. Frame by frame shots were taken of Duff and boyfriend Comrie proposing while on vacationing in Hawaii.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Stage Venice Family Photo Op

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie seem to be taking their show of unity on a world tour! When they didn’t appear together in public for a month, reports surfaced that they were on the verge of a split. In an attempt to squash those reports, Brangelina are staging family photos “like a military operation”, sources say. In fact, the happy family photo ops in Venice were all staged, reports The New York Post.

A spy said, “They are usually very shy about being photo graphed, but now they’re making a point of being seen in public as a happy family unit. They’re making a statement. They want the world to know the reports are wrong and they are strong.”

The couple arrived in Venice with their children Tuesday, where Jolie is filming “The Tourist” with Johnny Depp. Since then they have been photographed out daily as one big happy family. Angelina had planned to travel alone for filming, but Brad insisted on tagging along. While a picture maybe worth a thousand words, I’m not too sure the words Brangelina are trying to convey are coming across that way. Despite the pictures, whispers are suggesting that the split between the couple is only a matter of time.
