The acting is not that great, especially on behalf of deRavin (who's on Lost, and therefore I love) and Chris Cooper (which I found most surprising). Obviously, the ending brings up many, many emotions that have NOTHING to do with the film. To me, that's a sign of a bad movie. I just got home from the movie….my opinion: meh. Also, casual movie goers seem to like the movie so I think critics read the spoilers beforehand and went in with their preconceived notions. The movie is lovely and the acting is good.
