Before the birth of little Krishna, there was a lot of speculation on who might be the baby daddy for single mom, Padma Lakshmi. She tried to keep quiet about the identity of her new daughter’s father, but it seems the cat may be out of the bag now that he’s lobbying for increased visitation with his new little girl. A source close to confirms to “E! News” that the businessman Adam Dell is the father of Krishna Thea Lakshmi, born last month.
According to the source, Dell and Lakshmi are currently negotiating new visitation rights after Dell, who splits his time between Austin and New York, grew unhappy with their arrangement.
Dell is reportedly a proud father who is desperate to play as big a part in his daughter’s life as possible, but is said to be complaining about how the “Top Chef” star is refusing to work with him to meet his requests. He is said to have had some sort of agreement with the new mom, but now wants more time with the baby. Dell wants to help raise his daughter and is negotiating for weekend and vacation visitation with Krishna.
Doesn’t sound unreasonable to me. She ought to be thankful she’s got a baby daddy to stick around. The old ‘knock up and run’ bit seems to be a little over-used these days…

The baby girl of Padma Lakshmi is adorable, sweet and lovely. I hope that mom Padma Lakshmi gets custody and that she completely keeps her ex Adam in the life of child, if not her life, while raising the sweet daughter. I understand that she is an adoring and doting mother. I understand that by now she has already informed the young baby daughter who her dad is. My earlier understanding was that she wanted to be a single mom, and had already claimed to some in the media who wanted to know, at the time of giving birth, that Adam dell was the father. At the time of giving birth, the mom had said, supposedly, that she won’t mind if the father dumps the sweet daughter. Right after giving birth, I understand that the mom had said that she will always inform the baby that Adam was the father. Now (much later) that she has a closer relation with Forstman, she should not ignore the father of her baby or shut him out of the baby’s life.
