Isn’t this kid nearly ready to Ferrari shopping?
Ok, so Suri Cruise is only 4, but still sucking on a bottle. I am not child friendly or baby savvy by any means as there isn’t one maternal atom in my body, but I am pretty sure kids that can demand a pony dressed in Gucci after their mani/pedi should be bottle free by now.
Whateves. Suri has a bestie…Leah Remini’ kid went on Rachel Ray to beat the bottle and I am guessing she still takes her rum and coke in Gerber.
So Moms out there…is Suri too old for a bottle?

YES, Suri is too old to still use a bottle. She was too old after the age of 1. But celebs follow a different parenting path than most of us “regular” people and Scientologists follow an even stranger path than that. I don’t think there is any coincidence that Leah Remini had trouble weaning her daughter and she too is a Scientologist. I read that they believe in letting children set the pace and decide things like that for themselves. It is a really dumb parenting philosophy if you ask me. Children have parents for a reason. Because if they didn’t they would spend their lives sitting in their underwear eating ice cream all day.
Well, I’m not a celebrity nor do I practice Scientology.
Seriously, what is the harm in allowing a child to continue to drink milk from a bottle?
Oh, I’ve heard all the horrors:
* Her teeth are going to rot. * Her teeth won’t come in right. * She’ll have an overbite. * She’s going to need braces. * Bottles are for babies. * She’s testing you. * She’ll get ear infections. * She’s simply too old, and on and on. Good grief, outside of all the nasty stares and unsolicited parenting advice, most kids wear braces regardless; my kids have zero cavities and they are now 11 & 14. People need to leave mothers and young children alone.
And might I ask — how is a pacifier or a bottle any different than smoking a cigarette except for the fact one will give you cancer? Kids grow up way too fast as it is, and if a bottle brings a child a sense of security and comfort via the release of endorphins, what is the freakin’ problem?
Get a grip people, and leave little Suri and her parents alone.
