Lindsay Lohan Tests Negative For Alcohol

Lindsay Lohan seems to have caught another lucky break after her SCRAM bracelet went off earlier this month at an MTV Awards afterparty (read about that here.) Her court-ordered urine sample has come back as negative.

Per PopEater:

“They did a urinalysis through Medtox labs and it indicated conclusively that there was no alcohol in her system at that time,” a source told E! “She was ordered to go right in and today just got the report back and it was negative.”

So, how much did they pay the lab off? The DA’s office office previously said the alert was “an alcohol-related violation.” It remains unclear what triggered the device, although her mother Dina Lohan has come up with a not-so-unique excuse blaming the incident on a partygoer who accidentally spilled their drink on her. Her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, confirms the results yesterday as well and denies the possibility that Lohan could have tampered with the bracelet.

Per Radar:

Lindsay’s alcohol level ranged from .03 to .04 from midnight to 3 a.m on June 6, during the hours after the MTV awards, RadarOnline.com is reporting. “There was absolutely no doubt that Lindsay was drinking, and the report that the alcohol monitoring service provided to Judge Revel was very detailed and extremely reliable,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.

“The (SCRAM) report also says that Lohan’s SCRAM bracelet had indeed been tampered with, and this is one of the reasons that Judge Revel determined that Lindsay violated terns of her bail,” the source told RadarOnline.com.

Sources connected with the Probation Department say the test results are good enough for them and as far as they are concerned Lohan is in full compliance with her probation.

Despite reports that the probation department has cleared Lindsay, the judge in her case has not and that is the biggest hurdle for the actress. The source told RadarOnline.com that Lindsay’s urine test will not be accepted as gospel, due to the reliability of the SCRAM device.

Lohan remains free on $200,000 bail and is still subjected to weekly random drug testing. It’s also looking like Lindsay will be in full compliance with her alcohol ed classes by the next court hearing, scheduled for July 6th. Either way, she gets another free pass – as usual.

New Music Friday – Runner Runner

America Ferrera Engagement Ring-PHOTOS

‘Ugly Betty’ may have lost out and been canceled, but its star, America Ferrera is a big winner. A big engaged winner that is!

People Magazine is reporting that Ferrera, 26, and her long-time boyfriend, Ryan Piers Williams, are set to tie the knot!

Now that ‘Ugly Betty’ has wrapped, Ferrera was spotted with her flashy new diamond at the Edinburgh Film Festival where she was promoting ‘The Illusionist in Scotland.’

We look forward to wearing our Guadalajara poncho to her reception.

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen Call Off Engagement

About six years ago, Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen were important. Today, however…they’re merely un-engaged.

Although they’ve been engaged for over a year, it appears the two have decided to end their engagement. Bilson showed up at some event in LA over the weekend sans her engagement ring and had no problem pointing it out to photogs when asked if she had wedding plans.

Via US Weekly:

“No, no plans” and pointed to her bare hand. “No nothing.”

A source tells the mag that the couple is taking “about a month” off to re-evaluate their relationship. I personally think they should wait until one of them has a hit movie. Everyone loves it when geriatrics get hitched!

ShamWow Guy Vince Shlomi Teams Up With Eminem-VIDEO

Last time we saw good ole Vince Shlomi (aka the ‘ShamWOW!’ guy), he was laying in a hospital bed, bleeding all over the place after his evening with a hooker turned into a tongue-biting blood bath. For real.

But that was over a year ago and Vince has now resurfaced and, though he is no longer mopping up gallons of water to impress you, he’s teamed up with rapper Eminem in an effort to promote the rapper’s new album which hits stores June 21.

I’m not sure if this is the promotional pull Eminem needs. This day and age, he really should have gone with Robert Pattinson riding on Betty White’s shoulders while throwing copies of the CD to fairies.

John Goodman Tells Letterman His Weight Loss Secrets – VIDEO

John Goodman showed up to the red carpet AFI Tribute to Mike Nichols looking like Dan Connor on Trimspa. It suits him.

Goodman followed his weight loss debut, he made a stop on David Letterman to talk about his new HBO show, “Treme.” Of course Letterman asked about the new look by asking how much he weighed.

“Plenty… pushing 400.. Somewhere up around there. I’d get off of ‘Roseanne’ every spring. I’d lose 60 lbs every spring. Then I got too fond of the barley corn… I’d gain it back and then some, every year. [I'm] getting a lot of exercise, I feel great.. It’s going to be an ongoing process for the rest of my life.”
