Rihanna Banned from Hotel After Marijuana Bust – Photos

A newspaper in Barbados is causing some problems for the “Rude Boy” singer. The paper ran a blind item which describes the unnamed singers antics after staying at popular hotel known for it’s luxurious accommodations. Fingers are point at her and rumors are now flying that Rihanna has been caught smoking pot.

“Staff at a high end hotel were kept busy this week cleaning up the classiest rooms which had been secured by a certain diva for her and her multiple guests.

Apparently she left the room in a disgusting stated and the hotel is of course preparing a huge repair bill. It appears that the classy woman and her guests smoked, drank and partied non-stop in the room. Security had to be constantly knocking on the door because the smoke alarm would not stop going off, and from what we understand, a very familiar cigarette odor was detected each time.

Management at the hotel are now contemplating banning this guest from using its facilities. Apparently a few years they had to send her a huge bill when she and her former boyfriend also wrecked the place.”

Rihanna hails from Barbados and recently enjoyed a trip to there and was spotted poolside at hotel on June 18th. She arrived in Barbados on June 16th

Tom Cruise’s Career is Over ???

That is what some are wondering as yet another Tom Cruise flick suffers a massive fail. His new action movie,”Knight and Day” did horribly. “Toy Story 3” continued its reign over the box office and even the poorly received “Grown Ups” (click HERE for that review) doubled “Knight and Day’s” $20.5 million dollar gross.

Add this to the list of Cruise’s flops. “Lion For Lambs” and “Valkyrie,” were pegged to be huge draws, but both limped across the finish line. So, the question is what is going on with his career. PopEater had a chat with a producer who offered an explanation.

“People have turned on the once beloved actor and don’t want to spend two hours with him anymore,” one producer tells me. “I have never in my years in the business seen such venom for an actor. Tom has become the poster child of everything creepy. After this weekend he must be worried that his career is over.”

As if this weren’t enough, his annoying attempt at humor in alter ego form, Les Grossman, is getting a movie. While I seriously doubt this film will ever actually make it beyond the cutting room floor, friends of the actor say it’s sad to watch his career spiral downward.

“Now, the man who used to be the biggest movie star in the world is reduced to putting on a fat suit, fake chest hair, a bald cap and slapping J.Lo’s butt at the MTV Movie Awards,” a friend of the actor tells me. “Who would have thought that cute kid that we all fell in love with in ‘Top Gun’ might see his last role playing the fat, bald, vulgar movie producer Les Grossman?

”

That bastard couch on Oprah is to blame! Either that or his cult issues, closeted homosexuality mixed with feigned homophobia, creepy hold over Katie Holmes or that douchey grin of his.

Lady Gaga Competes With President Obama For Facebook Fan Record

Lady Gaga and President Obama don’t often travel in the same circles, but they’re the top competitors in a heated popularity contest to be the first living person to reach 10 million fans on Facebook. Early Friday, Obama had the lead by about 30k, but Facebook’s “monster” constituency picked up the pace in support of “Mother Monster,” as Gaga quickly surged past Obama. As of Friday afternoon, the pop star has reached 9,162,832 with the Commander-in-Chief trailing at 9,122,063.

Per CNN:

Obama’s page, which is run by the group Organizing for America, includes photographs of his recent Gulf Coast visit and links to speeches from news conferences. His page lists the president’s interests as “basketball, writing, spending time w/ kids” and says his favorite books include The Bible, Toni Morrison’s “Song of Solomon” and Shakespeare’s tragedies.

Lady Gaga’s page lists upcoming concerts and includes a biographical article describing how the 24-year-old pop star, who played piano by ear as a toddler, grew into a theatrical performer who wows the masses with flashy performances in international concert tours. “I’m just trying to change the world one sequin at a time,” she says in the posted story.

Who will win the race to 10 million? Only time will tell, though the King of Facebook is likely to remain Michael Jackson, who holds the #1 spot with nearly 13.5 million fans on the social network which boasts over 400 million users.

Semi Precious Weapons Debut ‘You Love You’

Filthy glamour New York rock stars Semi Precious Weapons are gearing up for the June 29th release of their hotly anticipated Geffen/Perezcious/Streamline/Cherrytree Records debut, “You Love You,” available for pre-order now on Amazon.com. Produced by rock world kingpin Jack Joseph Puig (The Rolling Stones, Beck, Green Day), along with Executive Producer Lady Gaga, the album is currently streaming in its entirety on Myspace. Boston Globe declares that “SPW splits the difference between AC/DC and Queen.” Fronted by the fierce Justin Tranter, the visual appeal of the band, who are masterfully thrusting sex, glamour, and loving violence back into the rock & roll spotlight, is undeniable. Angelina Jolie Talks Marriage, Pregnancy and Retirement – Vanity Fair PHOTOS

Angelina Jolie took a break from trying to seduce Johnny Depp (click HERE to read about those rumors) and cheating on Brad Pitt (click HERE to see those stories) to talk with Vanity Fair about her kids, acting and a possible marriage.

Regarding her rainbow nation of children: “No, I’m not pregnant. We’re not opposed to it. But we want to make sure we can give everybody special time. They’re kids now, and can play together, but they’re going to need a lot more talking in the middle of the night, like I did with my mom for hours. We want to make sure we don’t build a family so big that we don’t have absolutely enough time to raise them each really well. Mad’s a real intellectual, which I can take no credit for genetically. He’s great at school, great at history. He feels like he could be a writer or travel the world and learn about places and things. Zahara’s got an extraordinary voice and is just so elegant and well spoken. Shiloh’s hysterically funny, one of the goofiest, most playful people you’ll ever meet. Knox and Viv are classic boy and girl. She’s really female. And he’s really a little dude.”

Regarding marriage: “We aren’t against getting married,” but “it’s just like we already are. Children are clearly a commitment, a bigger commitment [than marriage]. It’s for life.”

Regarding Retirement: ““It’s not the most important thing in my life. Acting helped me as I was growing up. It helped me learn about myself, helped me travel, helped me understand life, express myself, all those wonderful things. So I’m very, very grateful, it’s a fun job. It’s a luxury. Look, I’m at work today in the middle of Venice. But I don’t think I’ll do it much longer.” Jolie says this reassessment is mostly due to her family: “Because I have a happy home….I got back from work last night, and everybody was playing music and dancing and I suddenly found myself dancing around with a bunch of little fun crazy people.”
She also mentions that Brad’s icky looking goat beard doesn’t bother her simply stating she loves him “in every state.”

Are Katy Perry And Russell Brand Already Married?

Katy Perry may have let the cat out of the bag in England over the weekend on ‘The Graham Norton Show’ after she may have accidentally slipped that she and fiance Russell Brand have already tied the knot!

Per MTV:

“Life’s never dull with him, that’s why I married him!” Katy beamed. As the audience let out a collective gasp, she quickly corrected herself: “That’s why I’m marrying him!”

She then refused to say anything more on the subject, or to clarify her romantic status. Earlier in the show, Perry also called Brand’s mom Barbara her “mother-in-law” while Russell himself has been referring to Katy as his wife for some time. The couple got engaged in India over the New Year and they are planning to wed in the fall. They have aroused suspicions that they married in secret possibly to avoid the hound of the media.

Oh dear, you’re not doing much to convince us that there hasn’t already been a secret wedding, Katy!

Chris Brown BET Awards Michael Jackson Tribute: VIDEO

On Sunday night, Chris Brown used the BET Awards to stage a break into a comeback. The shamed rapper gave a Michael Jackson tribute as he dressed in MJ’s signature black pants and white v-neck t-shirt.

The singer has been keeping a low profile after the pre-Grammy Rihanna beating that left him looking like a monster as just days later he was spotted riding jet skis at Diddy’s compound wearing a huge smile. Last night he gave an over the top performance of several Jackson’s songs including “Man in the Mirror.” He appeared to be crying and wiped away tears and doing the attempting-to-sing-but-far-too-emotional-mic-hold. Most are questioning this “tribute” as legit. Currently several polls around the web questioning the sincerity are running around a 50/50 yes/no result.

His voice cracked, he could barely get words out and then fell to the floor and appeared to be in agony. Please. We all miss MJ and he was a huge force in the industry not to mention an icon for many, but this was embarrassing. It would have been far more respectful, moving and convincing if he would have shed a few tears at the end and only tripped over a few words. He also made this statement after the fit that was more accurate as an interpretive dance of Mariah Carey discovering Hello Kitty is going out of business…

“I let you all down before, but I won’t do it again. I promise you,”

What exactly does that have to do with MJ? I say shame on him for turning Jackson’s death into an opportunity to score points with the public. Sincere or not, that was ridiculous.

Kanye West also took the opportunity to show his face again after The Great Taylor Swift Mic Snatching at the MTV Video Music Awards. Instead of doing some stunt, he simply sang “Power” while standing on a makeshift volcano. At least he is being forthright with his level of douchebaggery.

Daytime Emmy Awards: WINNER LIST and PHOTOS

The Daytime Emmy Awards were held last night in Las Vegas and though ‘As the World Turns’ didn’t get the gold statue for Best Daytime Drama, the show did come out on top overall with Michael Park (aka Jack Snyder), Maura West (aka Carly Tenney), and Julie Pinson (aka Janet Snyder) all taking home awards in the acting category. ‘As the World Turns’ will go off the air this September, making this Emmy’s their next to last.

CBS favorite ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ took home the coveted statue for Outstanding Drama Series, while ‘Dr. Oz’ and ‘Cash Cab’ knocked out the usual favorites in their respected categories.

Tennis Star Jennifer Capriati Overdose

Former teen tennis sensation, Jennifer Capriati was rushed to a Florida hospital yesterday with signs of an apparent overdose.

Though no information has been released regarding Capritati’s condition, TMZ spoke with her father who stated she is expected to recover.

“TMZ spoke with Jennifer’s father who tells us she’s recovering well.”

Capriati won 14 titles in her career, three of which were grand slams. She also won the gold medal in the 1992 Olympic Games.

‘Grown Ups’ Review: Sandler Disappoints

The movie ‘Grown Ups’ starring everyone from Adam Sandler, Kevin James, and David Spade to Chris Rock and Salma Hayek, opened today to less than stellar reviews.

Here are what some top Hollywood Critics are saying:

CMR:

“It was like attending one of those parties where you don’t know anyone really well, but they all know each other since childhood. They have a bunch of in-jokes that no one else but them understands, and they bore you to tears with their stories about each other, while laughing hysterically at their own jokes…that you don’t get because you didn’t grow up with them.”

Dawn Taylor at Cinematical:

“The five stars of the film — Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, and Rob Schneider — are reportedly good friends in real life. One would imagine that when they get together to play golf, or show off their new sports cars, or snort horse tranquilizers off naked supermodels, that they’re probably pretty hilarious. Which makes this collection of overtired one-liners more sad than truly terrible, as the men swap jokes about James’ weight, Schneider’s elderly wife, and Spade’s libido with an attitude of jaded ennui.”

Flick Filosopher:

“The nightmare of Grown Ups is that it really does think it has something wise and wonderful to offer nostalgic Generation Xers: a warm glow of long ago summer days before videogames, when we played outside all day and had to be dragged in once the streetlights came on, a lost innocence concerned with nothing more than skipping stones and splashing in the pool and, I dunno, eating bologna sandwiches and catching fireflies and stuff. Sure, it’s a lovely portrait. But Ted Bundy was charming too.”

I know what you’re thinking, kittens…how does a shatty movie with such big names even get made in the first place? You see, sometimes, in order for an actor to get a movie made, he/she has to agree to some demands made by the studio. These demands usually include attaching the star to a less-than-satisfactory movie that is made merely with the intentions of bringing people in because of the people starring in it. For example, in order for George Clooney to get ‘Good Night and Good Luck’ made, he had to agree to make ‘Oceans 13′-another who’s-who in movies kind of film.
