Jason Momoa is the new Conan (the Barbarian, not the scorned former Tonight Show host with a luscious red mane). Nu Boyana Film studios released a photo of Momoa from the upcoming film. (Full picture of Momoa as Conan in the gallery below.)

Marcus Nispel is directing this and I am not big on action movies unless it involves Jake Gyllenhaal sweating, so my opinion on them is about as deep as a baby pool, but this combination of Fabio and Kate from ‘Lost’ is making me feel a big FAIL coming. I hope I am wrong, but his weave needs a hot oil treatment.

“Conan” is set to hit theaters in 2011.

Zac Efron Shirtless-ness – PHOTOS

I like that is the new, hotter, more tolerable version of Matthew McConaughey in the sense that shirts are the enemy of the well toned ab. Zac Efron shirtless pictures have earned him a spot on People’s list of ‘Most Amazing Bodies.’

The “High School Musical” star has been kicking it in Maui for the film festival and constantly showing off his well built bod. The man-child still gives me a case of the pedos but I will learn to live with it.

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr Are Engaged

In an effort to save their dying careers, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced they are engaged.

You likely remember him brandishing a sword alongside Johnny Depp in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Kerr, well, she’s apparently a model which explains why she’s so thin her stomach is eating itself.

The two shot down reports of an engagement about six months ago while in Australia, however, Kerr was recently spotted wearing a sparkling diamond on her ring finger.

Kerr tells People Magazine:

“He’s a sweetheart and that’s all I’m gonna say. My ideal situation would be to live on a farm in a solar-powered house with a hammock and a vegetable patch. When this is all over, that’s where I’ll be. I’ve always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen.”

Solar powered farm? Vegetable patch? It appears that Kerr lives in a world where models eventually eat.

Bloom and Kerr’s reps still have not released a formal statement regarding the engagement.

Miley Cyrus 2010 MMVA (Much Music Video Awards) Performance – VIDEO and PICS

Miley Cyrus is once again making Pedo-Bear put a do not disturb sign on his office door. I am really growing bored with her crotch stroking antics and shopping her assets like a red light special, but everyone else is still wagging their finger at her.

This time she was trotted around the Much Music Video Awards in a tribal themed dance for “Can’t Be Tamed.”

What is really disturbing about this, besides her hollering into that mic, is that she is like Britney Spears dipped in Lindsay Lohan and sprinkled with Paris Hilton. Regardless, she followed it with “Party in the USA,” looking like her stylist was the elegant Latina who wore a hot pink strapless prom dress and black bra to proudly hanging out while digging through discount shower curtains at Big Lots.

To keep the momentum going behind the Eclipse train, a second clip was released. It focuses on the Vampire army being built by the couple’s nemesis, Victoria.

The first reaction to Scarlett Johansson’s new Dolce and Gabbana ads is HOLY AIRBRUSH BATMAN! They could have put a blond wig on a broom and let photoshop do the rest.

Is it just me or does the blue shadow photo make her look like Naomi Watts? She is naturally gorgeous, I don’t understand why they airbrushed her so much.

Tim Gunn Spills Anna Wintour’s Diva Stories

If Tim Gunn is the fashion Jesus leading the way with his silver mane shining like a beacon of hope in women’s style, then Anna Wintour is Beelzebub. She isn’t shy about being a total control freak and making models weep while designers cower at her Proenza Schouler pumps. So, Tim may get away with sharing his stories detailing Wintour’s diva demands in his new book, “Gunn’s Golden Rules.”

One in particular involves Anna being carried down several flights of stairs by two bodyguards. While at Peter Som‘s fashion show at the Metropolitan Pavilion in 2006, Tim witnessed Wintour’s refusal to use the elevator.

NY Post:

“I was with a colleague from Parsons, and we had been discussing the will-she-or-won’t-she-take-the-elevator question, so we ran over to the elevator bay to see if Anna would deign to get on. She wasn’t there. Then we looked over the stairway railing. And what did we see but Anna being carried down the stairs. The bodyguards had made a fireman’s lock and were racing her from landing to landing. She was sitting on their crossed arms.
I ran to the window to see if they would put her down on the sidewalk or carry her to the car like that. They carried her to the car. And I thought: I will never forget this.”

Of course, Vogue minions refused to validate the story and simply stated:

“Tim Gunn has a very vivid imagination. There is no truth to any of this.”

I am guessing Anna was hovering over Vogue’s rep with the heel of her stiletto against their temple. Either way, Tim Gunn is going to wake up with headless mannequin in his bed tomorrow morning.

Chris Klein Checks Into Rehab After DUI Arrest

Did we really not see this one coming? After being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence last week (read about that here), actor Chris Klein has taken the next step in the celebrity handbook and voluntarily checked himself into rehab.

Per People:

“After recent events, Chris was forced to take a clear look at a problem he has been trying to deal with himself for years. He understands now that he can not beat this disease alone,” his rep Jaime Primak tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. “He thanks everyone for their support as he takes all the necessary steps to deal with his addiction and asks for privacy while doing so.”

Announcing the location and length of his rehabilitation may not be the best way to ensure his privacy, but Klein’s rep confirmed he is seeking treatment at the Cirque Lodge in Utah where he will complete a 30 day alcohol addiction program and has plans to stay longer if need be. Last Wednesday, Klein was busted on the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles with a blood alcohol level of more than .20, nearly three times the legal limit. He failed a field sobriety test and was released later that day on $25,000 bail. Unfortunately for him, Klein was already on probation at the time of his arrest having plead guilty about five years ago to a misdemeanor drunken driving charge in San Diego. He was fined $1,800 and ordered to perform 150 hours of community service. If convicted on another charge he could face a minimum of four days in jail.

So while his stint in rehab may be voluntary, it’s probably also pretty strategic. I love how celebrities think that they can check into rehab like its a get outta jail free card.

Lady Gaga Drunken Yankee Fan – PHOTOS

Lady Gaga caused Yankee fans and team elders to clutch their pearls and gasp after showing up to the game in nothing but bra, a thong, fishnet stockings and a jersey. The “Alejandro” songstress reportedly “sauntered into the Bombers’ clubhouse” uninvited and hung out for 30 minutes slurring her words and professing her love for the team. Rumors followed that Hal Steinbrenner had banned her from every stepping foot in the stadium again.

“Hal, who is co-chairman with brother Hank, club president Randy Levine, general manager Brian Cashman and manager Joe Girardi all had no idea she was going to show up, sources said. In fact, when a Post reporter told Cashman about Gaga’s presence, Cashman said, “What? I didn’t know that,” and stormed off.”

This baseball debacle followed her Citi Field appearance that left her flipping off cameras and fans. (Click HERE for those pics.) The Mets are feeding off the incident and using it to promote third baseman David Wright in a themed night at the game entitled, “Go Gaga for Wright.” This will take place on June 10.

As for the ban…it’s BS. GM Brian Cashman confirmed that Gaga is NOT banned from the Yankee stadium or the Bomber’s club house. However, he did mention he didn’t appreciate her drunken pop in.

“There is a time for things like that and that wasn’t it. After a loss is the wrong time,” said Cashman. “Where a security detail prevents the media covering the game from doing its job, that is wrong. This has nothing to do with her. … It has to do with a decision made upstairs to let her in and allow this to happen. She did nothing wrong. … The problem is internal and it’s been handled.”

Translation: Bitch is crazy and whoever let her in will be in the unemployment line by noon.

Vanessa Carlton Confirms She Is Bisexual

Singer Vanessa Carlton has ‘outed’ herself as bisexual at a gay and lesbian festival in Nashville, Tennessee over the weekend. Previously linked to John Mayer and Third Eye Blind rocker Stephan Jenkins, Carlton made the announcement while headlining the Nashville Pride Festival at the city’s Riverfront Park on Sunday.

Per Huffington Post:

“I’ve never said this before, but I am a proud bisexual woman,” she announced to a crowd of 18,000.

Carlton is joining a group of musicians and celebrities have also recently revealed their sexual preferences. “True Blood” star Anna Paquin admitted last april she was bisexual in a public service announcement for the ‘True Colors Fund‘ (read about that here.) In March, Ricky Martin announced he was gay (read about that here) while Chely Wright became one of the first country music stars to come out as a lesbian in May (read about that here.)

Good for you. It’s awesome you feel comfortable enough in your own skin to reveal this. But if you really want to impress us, go write some good music.
