Oksana Grigorieva Bruised, Broken Teeth Picture is Altered – PHOTO

Radar has taken a break from raping your ears with Mel Gibson ranting and yelling four letter words (click HERE for those Mel Gibson rants) and released the photo Oksana Grigorieva taken shortly after Mel Gibson allegedly punched her. You aren’t missing much, as a giant pink logo covers 90% of her face and two clearly photoshopped bruises and two chipped veneers are shown. I have seen pictures of Big Foot that had more legitimacy.

Oksana’s doctor gave his opinion on the photo to TMZ

“Sources connected with the dentist who treated Oksana Grigorieva tell TMZ the dentist believes ‘100% the photo circulating on the Internet has been altered.’ We’re told Dr. Ross Shelden is saying, ‘The nose is not hers. The lips are not right. It’s not a true and accurate picture. It has definitely been altered.’ We’re also told the doctor says the teeth are in fact Oksana’s, reaffirming that the teeth are intact, but one veneer was damaged and one was broken.”

Hmmm…thoughts?

Quoteables:

Dlisted: “Mel is crazier than a pack of rabid possums on a 5150 hold, so I totally believe that he’s capable of bringing the passion of his fist onto anybody who goes into the Jacuzzi without him or refuses to blow him with a smile.”

The Superficial: “Neither one is the innocent victim here even if they made a movie about Jesus, so God willing, for the sake of their daughter, they’ll resolve this thing the old-fashioned way: Family Feud!”

The Dream Attempted Suicide After Break Up With Christina Milian

Pictures that showed The Dream enjoying – and I mean really enjoying – the Caribbean sun and sand with his hands gently wrapped around his assistant’s bootay emerged just days ago (read about that here), letting the secret out about his marriage with Christina Milian ending. Now, The Dream just posted an open letter on his website, in which he claims he tried to take his own life when he realized his marriage had failed.

Even though we were trying to overcome personal things between us, I was just simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we WERE FAILING and HAVE NOW FAILED! This is not to justify anything, it’s true emotion! It’s a real thing that involves real people! I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I’ve tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming.

Whats that I smell – is it a publicity stunt for disastrous album sales? The Dream also apologizes to fans for “misleading everyone” into believing his marriage was fine. He ended his letter saying “This too shall pass! And everything will be fine!” Thanks for clearing that up. Here’s hoping that this entire fiasco helps your album sales as it’s just a few copies away from being certified plastic.

The Dream and Milian have told reporters that they made the decision to split in late 2009 and had kept the break up under wraps to protect their baby daughter, Violet. Milian has since been spotted running errands in Los Angeles, but is still wearing her wedding ring. I guess if she’s already worn it for months after they split, what’s a few more days?

Amy Adams Scores Janis Joplin Role – CONFIRMED

The upcoming biopic of Janis Joplin has a star. Despite the script undergoing a bevy of changes and has yet to nab an official studio, Amy Adams will be playing the late Miss Joplin.

Via Deadline:

“Today the website Fearnet had an interview with film producer Wyck Godfrey about the Twilight Saga, and the subject of a long-in-the-works Janis Joplin biopic came up. Godfrey mentioned in passing that Amy Adams would play the 1960s singer. I can tell you that Amy is indeed confirmed in the role for the film to be directed by Fernando Meirelles (City Of God).”

Several attempts at making a biopic centering around the “Piece of My Heart” singer’s life have been made, but no one has yet to get it off the ground. Pink reportedly came the closest to nabbing the role, but the project fell through. Let’s hope we see Fernado’s ‘Get It While You Can’ make it. Zooey Deschanel was originally slated to star in the film, but producers wanted a “bigger name” attached to the film. Which is a shame. While I like Adams, I believe Zooey is extremely talented and underrated.

Miley Cyrus Continues ‘Twilight’ Hate

Miley Cyrus is unleashing more verbal spewage as she continues her ‘Hate on Twilight’ tour.

Via Daily Fresh News:

“‘I’d rather keep the dead and revolting things like vampires and werewolves out of my life,’ says Miley Cyrus, who has refused to see Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner on Twilight movies.”

Yes, I know. I am slumming it this morning. It’s Friday and all I want to do is watch the cabana boy clean my pool in his speedo and wear a fabulous hat while sipping on some vodka and pineapple juice. However, people do insist that I work as my cable company doesn’t accept nature’s credit card. Don’t worry. I am sure more of Mel Gibson demanding to be serviced while he indulges in a bit of arson will arrive post lunch break.

Ok, so its a dry news day and really this is nothing more than an excuse to post some Jackson Rathbone pictures – Hey, its Friday… Who couldn’t use some eye-candy to tide them over the weekend? While his career is red hot at the moment (hollywood blockbuster films “Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” and “The Last Airbender” while his band 100 Monkeys is currently playing on the west coast and have an album due relatively soon), he still took the time to send a personal thanks to one of the “Twilight Sagas” biggest fan groups — The Twi-Moms.

Per HollywoodCrush:

At the end of our shoot, I shared that we had been meeting a lot of the “Twilight”-loving moms in our coverage of “Twilight,” many of which were HUGE fans of Jasper Hale and Jackson himself. Upon his insistence we fired the camera back on, and he had a message for all of you Twi-Mom’s out there.

You’re welcome, Jackson! You’re welcome.

New Music Friday – Jessie James

Why should California Gurls have all the fun? Jessie James carries the torch for southern pop, as the 22-year-old Georgia girl comes with the heat on “Boys in the Summer,” the first single from her sophomore Mercury Records album, on sale now at digital retailers including iTunes!

Co-written by Jessie with James Michael (Motley Crue, Papa Roach, Alanis Morissette), and opening with some bluesy rock guitar riffs right out of ZZ Top, “Boys in the Summer” imagines it’s “hot as hell, even in the shade,” while squeezing out a little bit of lemonade, standing on line at the Dairy Queen or laying on the hood of your car. Jessie explains the simple meaning behind the sassy lyrics: “It was inspired by an ex-boyfriend who I wasn’t really attracted to until the summer,” she laughs. “That’s when he had a tan and a little bit more muscle from being in the sun.”

Check out the video for “Boys in the Summer” above.

Hollywood Dame Exclusive Interview – No Justice

After dominating the Texas and Oklahoma music scenes – from live shows to radio hits – No Justice is proud to release “2nd Avenue“, their fourth album and Carved Records debut. A well-balanced compound of roots and rock, No Justice is ready to take the rest of the country by storm. “We aren’t interested in cookie-cutter bands at this label,” explains Carved CEO Tim Porter. ‘”We want artists that know how to put on a live show, write great songs and aren’t afraid to work. No Justice has all three in spades.”

Recorded in Nashville and produced by Dexter Green (Collective Soul), 2nd Avenue has a soulful sound that will appeal to music fans of all genres. “No Justice is a diverse band that’s been inspired by a lot of different artists, and because of that we appeal to just about anybody…from cowboys to punk rock chicks,” says singer Steve Rice. “I write about my relationships and what I know.” The anthemic title track and single “2nd Avenue” is a perfect example of the band’s songwriting talent, blending heartfelt lyrics and melody with crunching guitars and pounding drums.

I had the chance to speak to Steve from No Justice about touring, their inspirations, and the feelings they hope their fans will have from listening to their new album. You can read about that below.

What kind of tour/performing schedule do you have lined out to support and promote your upcoming album?

Well, right now we’re still working that out. We’re hitting the region that is familiar to us, about 6 states like Oklahoma, in the midwest. We’re gearing up for our national release in September and are going to be branching out. But right now we’re hitting the home turf and putting all that together.

How did you break into the music industry?

Very carefully! Basically first we decided to go for broke; play anywhere and everywhere for any amount of people. Even if we had to travel 10 hours and only make $200 while sleeping in our vehicles. The first 2 to 3 years were really hard on us – out of our pockets and our bodies. It took a while to get on stable ground.

What drives you the most to do what you love? What inspires you?

What inspires us, I think is that we all come from different places and we’re different people in the band. What drives us is our families and to do well for them. The sheer love for what we do, to get up and smile every morning as you’re going to work. Also seeing your music touch people and the songs impacting people. Last week at one of our shows I seen someone crying and laughing. It brings out the emotion and we want to continue to do that.

Besides music, what are your favorite things to do? What keeps you grounded?

What keeps me grounded I think is my upbringing. I was raised in a very humble family surrounded by humble people. But by the same aspect I was around egotistical people so I know how not to act. As for what I like to do, I like to hang out with family. And I like to shoot guns personally. We all love video games – its a very inexpensive way to keep us entertained. And lately, I like to help with marketing and media with our record.

Besides family and friends, what do you miss the most when you are out on the road?

Relaxation. Just the relaxing environment of home. You can’t get comfortable in a hotel. That’s the biggest thing, just the sanctuary of home.

What is one accomplishment you hope to make above all others in your life & career?

Worldwide exposure. We’ve been pushing the regional exposure for quite some time now. I think we’ve been pretty successful in what we’ve been doing so far in the sense that we can do what we love and provide for our families.

What is your favorite song on the new album, and what is your favorite song of yours of all time, and why?

Off the new record its hard to say because its so new. We really enjoy playing all of the songs on the new album. For an old song, so far I would have to say ‘Red Dress’ is my favorite one. Its sorta like a time stamp in the sense of going on the road and dealing with the struggle of balancing your family life back home. We pushed so hard for that song, rewrote it about 5 times, and just really believed in it. Its a crowd favorite.

Have you ever written or created a song that didn’t make the album cut that you wish did?

No, not really. I’ve written plenty of songs that didn’t make an album cut. It just comes down to a mutual decision on what gets put on an album.

What are some of your long term goals that you have lined out for yourself?

Aside from the exposure I mentioned earlier, I’d say more free time to do things, to reward my family for their sacrifices they make and that they continue to make so that we can do what we love to do. The freedom to let them do what they want to do whether its when they are gone or at home.

What sort of feelings do you hope your fans will have from listening to your new album?

Well, with the album there is a lot of variety. It pushes a lot of genres and invokes a lot of different emotions. You have the emotion of happy, of energetic, of sadness, of heartfelt… Its just the overall outlook of the album, where people don’t get bored listening to it. You can put it in and listen to the whole thing without being bored. There are different range of vocals, tempos, and we play different. It’s entertaining.

No Justice is currently on tour throughout Texas and the Midwest. For a full list of tour dates and for more information about the band, visit NoJustice.com or find them on Facebook. 2nd Avenue is available now in stores and online (iTunes/Amazon).

Hollywood Dame Exclusive Interview – Alexandra Amor

Alexandra Amor has some advice for starry-eyed teens: Do your homework.

That’s how her path to superstardom started, when the seemingly typical Florida teen took a unique, bold approach to her assignment in Communications class in early 2010. Instructed to give a 2-minute self introduction that would captivate the audience, Alexandra put an unexpected twist on her speech… by singing it!

Alexandra was no stranger to the spotlight, after all. The ability to captivate an audience was in her DNA. Her mother was the lead singer of a local rock band, and it was clear from an early age she was destined to follow suit. Alexandra’s teen years were filled with singing competitions and acting roles in local theater productions, but she really honed her craft in front of a worldwide audience of millions on the internet, where she developed a large and devoted digital fan base that would follow her all the way to the top.

Sure enough, Alexandra’s lyrical take on her homework assignment captivated the whole class, which happened to include artist manager Josh Mendez from Rich Music Ltd. “I immediately got the chills. I don’t even remember the rest of her speech,” Josh recalls. “As soon as I heard her sing, I knew we had to sign her.” After class, he introduced himself to Alexandra and immediately brought her to the attention of the label. Within weeks, she was signed to Jimmy J Management/Rich Music Ltd, a team of seasoned music professionals committed to taking the extraordinarily talented and charming singer to the next level.

Alexandra immediately entered the recording studio to record her debut album. Together with top notch producers The Agency (Ciara, Jordin Sparks, Cody Simpson), Naz Tokio (McFly) and Da Internz (Jesse McCartney, Sean Kingston), Alexandra’s first ever recording sessions churned out a number of radio-ready tracks, including the stellar first single “Superstar” – a peppy, polished pop anthem full of high energy vitality and sassy sing-along lyrics.

“‘Superstar’ is, in a sense, every aspiring artist/actor/singing-in-a-hairbrush performer’s dream! Becoming a superstar, living it up, buying whatever, wherever, WHENEVER,” Alexandra says. The single was released online in April 2010, where Alexandra’s uber-viral fanbase immediately propelled it to digital hit status, singing into their own webcams and filling Youtube with countless fan-generated “Superstar” videos.

Despite the living large theme of “Superstar,” Alexandra is remarkably gracious and unaffected. A pop fan herself, she cites influences across the spectrum including Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry. “I’m a down to earth girl with big dreams and a positive outlook on life. It’s all been surreal and an absolute blessing. I’m still in shock… all because I did my homework.”

I had the chance to speak with Alexandra and ask her about her interests in music, some of her goals, and what’s next for her. You can read about that below.

When did you first realize you had an interest in music and what sparked that interest?

I always had an interest in music. Growing up my parents pushed me into sports. When I was in 8th grade, my best friend Michelle actually talked me into auditioning for a play. I was like ‘no, I can’t sing, I can’t act’ but we actually got the leads. It just stuck with me after that. I fell in love with the stage.

How did you break into the music industry?

4 months ago, my manager found me. 4 days later, I was in the studio. It happened very fast.

How would you describe the sound of your music, and what makes you feel as though your music is different from other artists in your genre?

Its pop. Feel good music. Everyone can relate to it. I’m excited to release the other tracks I have recorded. There is no other Alexandra Amore or Superstar.

What are some plans for promoting your music?

Right now, heavy traffic on Twitter. We’re doing some things with radio stations right now as well. We have a few things lined up.

What are some short term and long term goals you have lined out for yourself?

Short term would be to perform at different venues. Get my music out there and get the fans to enjoy the music. Long term would be a little tour. I;’d love to meet every fan I have on Twitter from all over the world. Meet them and tell them thank you for their encouragement.

Do you have any musical pet-peeves?

I think the only one I have right now is when I’m in the studio late at night and my voice gets raspy. I have a vinegar/honey/water mix that I drink.

Besides music, what are some of your favorite things to do?

I love the beach. I grew up on the beach, so being in the ocean. I love it. I also like to scrapbook.

What do you miss most, besides family and friends, while you are recording or out promoting your music?

Sleep. That would be the number one thing.

What is one accomplishment you’d like to make above all others in your life and career?

To inspire others. I’ve come this far from being inspired by music. I think that would be the greatest accomplishment.
