Another ‘Twilight’ Movie? ‘Vampires Suck’ Trailer: SEE IT HERE

It was only a matter of time before Hollywood started really cashing in on the ‘Twilight Saga’ franchise. And no, I am not talking about your Team Emmett pillowcase.

The comedic minds behinds such cinema classics as ‘Date Movie’ and ‘Meet the Spartans’ are now taking on ‘The Twilight Saga’ in their movie due to drop this August entitled ‘Vampires Suck.’

“Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg, the screenwriting/directing team behind ‘Date Movie’ and ‘Meet the Spartans,’ once again team up for the upcoming release. Meanwhile, the cast ensemble is supported by well-known comedian Ken Jeong in addition to Matt Lanter, Anneliese van der Pol and many others.”

Though I would be leery to mess with the Twi-Hards, as someone who is more of a moderate fan of the books and the films, I did chuckle a bit at this trailer. What do you think?!?

The Spill Canvas Has Got Fans “Covered” On July 8th

Nick Thomas, the singer, guitarist, and mastermind behind The Spill Canvas, recorded his first songs at age 15 while growing up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and honed his largely acoustic-based style playing solo shows in and around his hometown. Calling himself The Spill Canvas, Thomas released the raw and emotive Sunsets and Car Crashes, which earned him eager fans around the country. After officially transitioning from solo act to full-fledged rock band, The Spill Canvas recorded their dynamic debut full-length, One Fell Swoop, with producer Ed Rose (The Get-Up Kids), releasing it on One Eleven in May of 2005 to great acclaim, eventually selling more than 50,000 copies.

In 2006, The Spill Canvas signed to Sire Records, which released their major-label debut full-length No Really, I’m Fine in October 2007. Produced by Neal Avron (Fall Out Boy, Wallflowers, Yellowcard), the album climbed to No. 2 on Billboard’s Heatseeker’s chart and spawned the single “All Over You.” Over the years, the band have toured with Yellowcard, Motion City Soundtrack, Straylight Run, Mae, The Plain White T’s, Augustana, the Hush Sound, and One Republic, and have graced the stages of Austin’s annual music festival SXSW, New Jersey’s Bamboozle Festival and the Vans Warped Tour — earning them a growing loyal fanbase.

The Spill Canvas are currently in the studio with Mike Green working on the follow-up to No Really, I’m Fine, to be released by Reprise Records in 2010. On January 12th, they released Abnormalities — a three-song collection of new songs, which will be followed by an EP in March.

The Spill Canvas is extending a personal invitation via video to their fans to join them Thursday, July 8th at 5 pm CST for a special Ustream “covers” concert and chat on Facebook. To make this an extra-special show, fans who participate during the chat will be entered into a lottery for one of twenty Spill Canvas t-shirts. Joel Madden Cheating On Fiance Nicole Richie?!?

Consider the source and take this with a grain of salt. ‘Star‘ magazine is reporting that Nicole Richie has been betrayed by a cheating fiance, Joel Madden. ‘Star’ is claiming that the Good Charlotte frontman had stepped out on Nicole after three years together while partying at a West Palm Beach club last May. And to further their so-called claims, they even got the club DJ to go on record with an eyewitness report quoting him as saying that Joel was “cuddling” with a blonde, invited two female workers to his tour bus and even said that Nicole “wouldn’t be happy” if she knew what her man was up to.

Per The Frisky:

The club’s DJ said, “You’d have never known Joel was with Nicole—not the way he was behaving.” Nicole apparently has her suspicions. A friend said, “He’s getting more and more careless lately. Nicole is sure he’s been cheating for a while.”

But before you go adding Joel’s name to the list of serial celeb cheaters, the DJ in question is slamming reports that he even so much has uttered a word about the situation!

Per Ok!:

“There was nothing shady at all about Joel’s behavior here,” says DJ J.R. Hutter of Feelgoods Rock Bar and Grill, adding the story was “completely made up.”

“Joel was actually talking about his wife and kids the whole time,” the DJ says of Joel’s night. “He even mentioned he was getting married. He was just trying to make sure everyone was having a good time and ordering the drinks. He wasn’t even drinking himself. He was taking pictures with fans. There was nothing crazy or out of the ordinary.”

While there were a ton of females hanging around, Hutter says that it was Joel’s very single twin brother Benji who was interested, and that they both returned alone to their hotel rooms. See, not every man who steps out without his significant other for a night is being a dog and going ho-strolling!

Angelina Jolie Covers ‘Parade’ Magazine and ‘Salt’ Trailer-VIDEO

Did you hear? Angelina Jolie has a new movie coming out. It’s called ‘Salt.’ I saw the trailer, and I have no clue what it’s about. Other than her, I can’t even tell you a single person who is in it…wait, is that Liev Schreiber?

But does it matter?

I mean, all you really need to know is that St. Angelina is in a new movie and that gives outlets like ‘Parade’ Magazine the opportunity to ask her questions about her posh life with her love Brad Pitt and their six children.

* On balancing life and work with Brad: “He takes the kids to school; he visits me on set with the kids. I’m home for dinner, or I’m there for breakfast. We’re together all the time. We plan. Brad and I take time off between films to travel, have big experiences, do things together. That’s how we work it out.”

* On sticking with Brad: “There’s never a period when Brad and I are pulled apart. We are not separated for more than three days, ever. We stay really connected. We actually don’t go out much. It’s funny. We’re very homebound. We’re very much Mommy and Daddy in our pajamas.”

Jolie also claims that the couple’s ‘friends’ don’t speak of tabloid reports to them and they don’t “…read magazine headlines,” while standing in line at the supermarket. Like I believe either of them stand in line at the supermarket with a cart full of their Kool-Aid mustached children.

Despicable Me Soundtrack Giveaway!

Hollywood Dame is giving away one copy of the soundtrack to the latest kid friendly film, “Despicable Me” along with a hat and a t-shirt!

The soundtrack to the highly anticipated Despicable Me is available today on Star Track/Interscope Records. The CD features new music by Pharrell, Robin Thicke, Destinee & Paris, and others, plus a pair of classics from The Bee Gees (“You Should Be Dancing”) and The Sylvers (“Boogie Fever”).

In addition to composing the film’s orchestral score for the film, Pharrell also takes the lead on four tracks he wrote and produced, beginning with the title tune, “Despicable Me,” and including “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “Prettiest Girls,” and “Rocket’s Theme” – all of which are currently streaming on Myspace. With superstar Robin Thicke, Pharrell co-wrote and produced “My Life.” In addition to “I’m on a Roll,” by sisters Destinee & Paris (formerly of Interscope’s Clique Girlz), Pharrell also wrote and produced tracks for the film’s mischievous minions (“Minions Mambo”, co-written with Lupe Fiasco), and littlest orphan, Agnes (“The Unicorn Song”). The album is rounded out by two vintage No. 1 disco hits from 1976, by The Bee Gees (“You Should Be Dancing”) and The Sylvers (“Boogie Fever”).

Ke$ha Nude Photo Scandal – PICTURES

If a poor man’s Lady Gaga had a love child with John Travolta, then I am pretty sure Ke$ha would be the result. Regardless, photos of the “singer” surfaced on the net. In the pics Ke$ha is covering her bare breasts with her hands and some questionable off white liquid. Yes, the photo is being sold as “Ke$ha Covered in Cum” as the site in which it surfaced so boldly announces. Perhaps Kesha is trying to steal Miley Cyrus’ NSFW photo thunder. (Click HERE for Miley Cyrus’ crotch photo controversy.) No word on exactly who leaked the pic, but rumors are rumbling that is the same person who leaked one of her songs to the net.

Jennifer Aniston Dating Christopher Gartin

And by “dating” I mean humping for publicity. This time Jennifer Aniston is rumored to be hooking up with “True Blood” star, Christopher Gartin.

OK! mag took a break from claiming that Aniston is pregnant (click here for Jennifer Aniston pregnancy cover) to jump an instance where she was having dinner with someone and translated it into a steamy affair that will later involve sperm donations.

Jennifer Aniston may have finally found her perfect man! A True Blood insider tells OK! actor Christopher Gartin is the good guy Jen deserves!

“Nothing could be better for him,” the source tells OK!. “Or more deserving. For both of them, actually. Chris is a gem of a guy.”

Jen must feel the same as she showed off her hot date to the paparazzi over the weekend!

“At first he’s so good looking that you think he might be arrogant or something,” the insider explains. “Nothing could be further from the truth. He is so warm and genuinely caring.”

And by “showing off her hot date” they mean hiding her face as they drove off in Gartin’s car. She was also recently linked to SNL’s Jason Sudeikis and that turned out to be a flash in the pan. Regardless, the mag insists they are two steps away from creating a wedding gift registry at Target.

“When you talk to him, he really, really listens. He’s right there for you,” adds the source. “And how perfect for Jennifer Aniston. She deserves a really good guy, who is a family man and a father.”

“He brought his children to the set once last year and he’s so caring and doting. He’s as natural dad, as if he were born to be a parent. How perfect for Jennifer if she wants kids and if their relationship takes them down that road.”

“She can’t do any better than Chris. He’s been through a lot personally over the last two or three years, so it’s about time that he’s happy with someone that understands divorce, and all the drama that goes with it, and understands the value of family,” the True Blood insider tells OK!. “That sounds like Jennifer Aniston to me.”

‘Lost’ Alum Henry Ian Cusick Lands A Job on ‘Law and Order: SVU’

‘Lost’ fans!!! Are you still there?! Are you still dropping by? Melody? Steve? I miss you! Let’s talk.

If you are there, then you are likely going through ‘Lost’ withdrawal much like myself. Regular television just pales in comparison, no?

Thankfully, our favorite Brotha, Henry Ian Cusick won’t be MIA much longer. He’s landed a role on ‘Law and Order: SVU.’

Currently, Cusick is signed on for only two episodes in the fall, but producers are making it sound like he may be a potential love interest for Marishka Hargatay’s character, Olivia.

Via TV Guide:

“There might be some flirtation. Erik [Cusick's character] meets Olivia when he comes to someone’s aid. And then we’ll see how it goes. Olivia is devoted to her job and knows that comes first.”

Though I am happy to see Desmond, I mean Henry, get a job, thinking of him with anyone other than PEN-NAY makes me sad.

Levi Johnston Apologizes Publicly To Palin Family For Lies

Levi Johnston has admitted to People magazine that, shoot, he might’ve been a little bit angry at the time over his breakup with Bristol Palin and might’ve engaged in a little bit of, you know, fibbing and stuff, which caused him to lose control and publicly say “things” about the Palin family that “were not completely true” such as insinuating awhile back that Sarah Palin and her husband Todd were on the verge of divorce.

“Last year, after Bristol and I broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry. Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true,” he tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I have already privately apologized to Todd and Sarah. Since my statements were public, I owe it to the Palins to publicly apologize.”

The article implies that the lies were Levi’s comments about a pending Palin divorce and about Sarah’s weariness of serving Alaska as governor, but Levi didn’t specify what “things” he said were untrue. Which means that all or part of what he said in October 2009 in a clip from “The Early Show,” below may or may not be true.

So, maybe it’s not technically “lying” if you’re just saying things that are just “not completely true”? That’s what Johnston says he was doing. Because he was upset about breaking up with Bristol. He said also he’d privately apologized, but decided to take it public because he’d spoken publicly in the first place. Bristol has responded, saying that she and her ex, who together have a child, Tripp, are “turning a new page.” Good luck with that.

Bristol added her own statement Tuesday saying, “Part of co-parenting is creating healthy and honest relationships between the parents. Tripp one day needs to know the truth and needs to know that even if a mistake is made the honorable thing to do is to own up to it.”

Is he lying now or did he lie then? I’m placing money on that he’s just trying to get back into Bristol’s pants.
