Paris Hilton Gives Nazi Salute – PHOTO

Ah yes, Paris Hilton further proves she is a moron by putting her finger across her upper lip circa Hitler ‘stache and saluting her arm into the air. This is fast becoming a typical party trend that I must be missing out on (for good reason).

Paris took a break from getting caught with pot to party in St. Tropez. She has been the drunk girl mascot for several VIP rooms and luxury yachts. A security guard had to scrape her drunk ho show off the floor at a nightclub last week.

In Paris’ defense, she probably thinks Nazi is a type of vodka and the Holocaust is what they called sample sales in the 80′s.

Justin Bieber Molests Fan Rumor – PHOTO

It’s Monday and that means it is time for another Justin Bieber rumor that involves syphilis, death or being a hermaphrodite.

Justin Bieber is the hardest working toddler trick in the game and as with great power comes millions of 12 year olds making up rumors. This time his minions who have jumped his ship in mutiny and no longer under control of his glorified comb-over, have started the rumor that he was arrested after molesting a fan. Thusly, Justin Bieber Molests Fan became a hot search trend.

Fact is, he has not molested anyone. This rumor began after The Bieb Twittered a picture of himself on the set of CSI in an red jumpsuit being cuffed and taken in. Justin scored a role on the CBS drama (click HERE for full details on Bieber on CSI). Turns out, it was just a prank he pulled on the cast and crew of the series and put the pic up with a caption:

“CSI premieres on Thursday, Sept 23rd on CBS, and I told you I was a BAD MAN!!”

Later he confirmed his devilish behavior:

“amazing day, excited for you guys to get to watch it. And yes I did prank the EP of the show. Somebody got locked in the closet!”

Oh honey, someone has been in the closet for awhile.

Casey Affleck Sued for Sexual Harassment

Casey Affleck decided to play film-maker last year and chronicled the rapid decline of this brother-in-law Joaquin Phoenix from actor to some kind of hip-hop performer (read about that debauchery HERE).

It seems that when cameras weren’t rolling, Affleck had a difficult time keeping his hands off the ladies who worked for him and his mouth shut…at least that’s what one of the “I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix” documentary producers is claiming.

Former documentary producer Amanda White has slapped Affleck with a $2 million lawsuit claiming he repeatedly sexually harassed her during the film’s production.

Via People:

In her 19-page complaint, White alleges Affleck, 34, referred to women as “cows” and openly discussed his sexual exploits in front of her. The producer also alleges Affleck, who since 2006 has been married to Phoenix’s sister Summer, and the film’s star once took over her hotel room in Costa Rica to entertain two women and that Affleck also once tried to get her to spend the night with him in his hotel room in San Francisco.

Her lawsuit says Affleck became “hostile and aggressive” when she refused and “violently grabbed her arm in an effort to intimidate her into staying.”

Affleck, however, has fired back claiming the allegations not only to be false, but has stated that White is merely a disgruntled employee as she was released from working with the film over a year ago.

Lindsay Lohan Battered By Other Prisoners; Moved to Isolation

Prison’s a bitch, y’all!

Poor Lindsay Lohan is having just an awful time during her stay at the Lynwood Womens Correctional Facility. Apparently, the other inmates began taking a cue from Brandon Davis and started chanting “FIRE CROTCH!” at Lohan while she was in her cell.

Guards also expressed concern when Lohan revealed she had many scratches on her arms and have since moved her to isolation.

Via The New York Post:

“Lindsay would lie there shivering all night, crying and covering her face with her hands. Her wailing was keeping everyone awake …. She had a hysterical fit, crying and yelling, so she got put in isolation,” said Cheryl Presser, who was released from the jail last night.

Lohan is currently serving a 90 day jail sentence for probation violation. However, she is expected to serve only about 14 days total.

Hollywood Dame Exclusive Interview – Josh Gracin

Born and raised in Westland, Mich., about 30 minutes west of Detroit, Josh Gracin grew up listening to his parents’ favorites –Elvis, the Beatles and the vintage rock and pop on a favorite local station. Then, when he was 11, the station’s format changed to country, and he started getting into artists such as Garth Brooks, Joe Diffie, George Strait and Randy Travis. His first public appearance was at an eighth grade talent competition where he sang Brooks’ 1993 hit “Standing Outside the Fire” and managed to win over an audience full of dance music-loving peers.

Growing up as the only boy among four sisters, Gracin found his parents unwilling to sign a release for him to play sports, so he took up saxophone instead. He also had experience singing everything from opera (as a member of his school choir) to Motown (as the only male singer in a review called the Fairlane Youth Pop Orchestra). While still in school, he was part of a talent competition that took him to the stage of the Grand Ole Opry.

After high school, he enlisted in the Marines and a few years later got married. About two years into his four-year term of the Marines, he saw the first American Idol show. Though he hadn’t sung in a couple of years, he auditioned and was chosen as a finalist in the second year of the series, ultimately placing fourth.

Well after he became part of the show, the U.S. invaded Iraq and the military’s world changed. Although he had no control over his deployment or that of his unit in Camp Pendleton, he did some soul-searching nonetheless. “The toughest moment through all of this was when we were doing the show, and I was staying up until four or five in the morning just watching the news and trying to keep track of how the Marines were doing over there. I felt guilty because I was singing on this show, and there were fellow Marines over there in foxholes.“

Gracin’s transition from reality show contestant to recording star began when he sang Rascal Flatts’ “I’m Movin’ On” on one episode. The guys in Rascal Flatts happened to be watching the show on their tour bus that night. Bass player Jay DeMarcus, impressed with Gracin’s talent, called and put him in touch with Marty Williams, who had co-produced both the band’s breakthrough album and its successful follow-up. That set in motion a series of events that led to a record deal with Lyric Street, the same label that signed Rascal Flatts.

Gracin’s self-titled debut album, featuring the first single “I Want to Live,” was released in 2004. Its second single, “Nothin’ to Lose,” reached No. 1 at country radio. Since, hits like “Stay With Me (Brass Bed),” “Unbelievable,” and “We Weren’t Crazy” have catapulted the star to mainstream country celebrity status. Gracin has since joined Average Joe’s Entertainment, home to country entertainer Colt Ford, and is planning to release a new single to country radio in March 2010 and a new album to follow shortly.

I had the chance to speak with Josh about things like the Crazy White Boys Tour he’s been co-headling, what inspires him, and the feelings he hope his fans will take away after listening to his upcoming album. You can read about that below.

You’ve been co-headlining the ‘Crazy White Boys Tour’ with Mark Willis. What’s it been like to work with him? Any fun behind the scenes stories you can share?

It’s been great getting to tour with him. I haven’t had much chance to really get out and do too much since I’ve been in Nashville recently but it’s been a fun experience and a learning experience. I’ve been having so much fun with him and Mark has so many friends across the country that at every stop we have there are already 5 or 6 different people he knows on the tour bus. It’s been a blast being on the road and doing something I’ve never done before.

I have heard that your music is inspired by some extraordinary stories. Could you share one of those stories and which song it inspired?

I’ve been doing a lot of writing lately about experiences I’ve been going through and watching the situations that others go through around me. The new record is 100% about me and I’m really excited about it. The songs are about a lot of things that have happened over the last 6 years. Like the first single ‘Covergirl’ is about a conversation I had with my wife about a sundress that I had bought her and wanted her to wear but she said no because you could see right through it which is what the entire first verse is about. Its 100% about that situation and conversation.

If you had the chance to tour or record with any singer and band, who would you chose and why?

John Mayer and Eminem. I love all sorts of music and Eminems’ new album “Recovery” has been on repeat in my CD player. Well, no one says CD player anymore so its on my iPod. (laughs)

What drives you the most to do what you love? What inspires you?

What inspires me is knowing that I have a lot to offer in music in general. I haven’t even begun to do and to accomplish as much as I want to. Its the driving force for me. Its where I belong, on stage and performing. It just feels natural to me.

You shared with your facebook fans the side project you been working on outside back at home. So what is it that keeps you grounded?

I think that fact of the family I grew up in and have a family of my own and married my highschool sweetheart is huge. I’ve been kept on the ground by my family and that is something that will never change.

Besides family and friends, what do you miss the most when you are out on the road traveling and touring?

I miss the sense of home, where you know and relax and that is mine. It’s a place to live and to grow.

What is one accomplishment you hope to make above all others in your life and career?

I think the biggest achievement that I can make is being able to never change who I am. Raising my kids the way I was raised and watching them grow and achieve their dreams and see them with the same drive as I have. I think the best mark of success is to better yourself and those around you.

What is your favorite song on your upcoming album and why?

It’s hard to choose my favorite song off the new album. But one that strikes me more is ‘Enough.” It was a turning point in my writing, a benchmark that things were getting better for me. It opened doors and my mind to write much better than I had 3 years ago.

Have you ever written or created a song that didn’t make the album cut that you wished would have?

Well, I won’t know until I go in and cut the album (laughs.) My first album I didn’t write any songs and my second album I wrote 3 of the songs that made an album cut. This is my 3rd album and I haven’t ran across that problem yet.

What are some of your short term and long term goals that you have lined out for yourself at the moment?

Short term is to get this single off the ground, get it up in the charts and to make is successful. Long term would be to form a network of friends and fans who enjoy the music. It’s important to have music that helps people through life. It’s an amazing thing to have a long term goal to make music that helps people through things.

What sort of feelings do you hope your fans will have from listening to your upcoming album?

To hear the fact that it is me. I have been involved with this project from the ground up. It was acoustics and vocals when I wrote the album and we started listening to the songs. This is my third album and I co-produced it with my drummer Kevin Murphy. I just hope they can hear that I had lots of fun with it and I’m finally comfortable now doing what I love to do.

A special thanks to Josh Gracin for this awesome interview! Be sure to check out his tour schedule here and keep up with him on facebook!

Jessica Simpson’s Paying for Love

Jessica Simpson has been “dating” a still technically married man. She and former NFL player, Eric Johnson, have been vacationing and making every moment in public filled with kissing and straddling each other. Star is running with a story that might have truth in it.

A few insider-types squealed to the mag that she has been paying for EVERYTHING and is even housing him in her Hills mansion. The article paints Johnson as a Kevin Federline Junior and it’s conceptually believable being that Jess admitted she doesn’t brush her teeth and is a fan of Dutch Ovens.

Via Star Magazine (Print Edition):

“One insider tells Star. “She’s been paying for everything in their relationship, and it doesn’t seem like Eric intends to stop that anytime soon.”
In just two short months together, Jessica has already done countless favors for Eric and splashed out tons of cash on him. And that suits him just fine. The still-married former NFL tight end hasn’t held down a steady gig since he was dropped by the New Orleans Saints in 2008 – the 30-year-old has even admitted that he isn’t cut out for a tough job. “I saw how many hours my mom worked and didn’t want to get caught in that cycle,” he has said about his mother, Mary Jo, a Boston-based attorney.

Now Eric’s even weaseled his way into crashing rent-free at Jessica’s Beverly Hills mansion! According to a divorce court filing, he once owned a home with his wife, Keri, in Richmond City, CA, that had to be sold, leaving Eric without a permanent place to live. “He isn’t making money, and he’ll lose half of what he does have when his divorce is final,” dishes the insider. “He’s pinching pennies wherever he can.”

New Music Friday – Cavo

In July 2007, the members of Cavo had an epiphany. They were opening for hard-rock band Staind at a resort in Lake of the Ozarks, MO, and decided to use their moment in front of the large crowd to play some of their new material live for the very first time. The band’s frontman, Casey Walker, began to sing “Let It Go,” a stirring song from the St. Louis quartet’s upcoming album Bright Nights * Dark Days. “At the end of the song, I sang the lyric ‘I need to let it go,’ over and over and the crowd started singing the words back to me,” Walker recalls. “It was the first time that had ever happened and it was just surreal. We walked offstage and were like, ‘What just happened?’ This crowd had never heard of us. They didn’t know any of our songs, but the response we got from them was just amazing.”

That pivotal moment is when Walker realized that Cavo, after nearly nine years together, had a good shot of getting where they are today: releasing their major-label debut album, Bright Nights * Dark Days, this summer on Reprise Records. With songs like the propulsive first single “Champagne,” the uplifting power ballad “Let It Go,” the blistering “Cry Wolf,” and the strutting “Blame,” the album is a passionately played collection of hard-hitting rock and roll with keenly felt lyrics about life, love, and the acceptance that comes with realizing that all we can do is to try and be the best person we can for those we love. “I think it’s amazing when a songwriter can open up a piece of themselves and let the whole world see it,” says Walker, who writes Cavo’s lyrics. “It may not be beautiful, in fact it may be really ugly, but great art comes from an honest place. It has to. And that’s what we try to do with our songs.”

The current line-up of Cavo — which also features Chris Hobbs on guitar, Chad La Roy on drums, and Brian Smith on bass — solidified after Smith came on board in 2006, but the original nucleus formed when Walker hooked up with Hobbs and La Roy in March 2001. Walker had wanted to front a rock band ever since seeing Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder onstage for the first time. “I had sung since I was kid,” Walker says, “but seeing him made me realize that writing songs and singing with a rock band were what I had to do. And I knew immediately that Chris and Chad were doing something special. We all shared the same passion for it. Chris is someone I consider to be a musical soul-mate; he’s very artistic and has a great sense of how the end result should sound. Chad is just pure energy; his playing is like a shot of adrenaline. They’re the kind of guys who, even if they weren’t signed to a label, would still be playing music together, and that’s how I felt.”

That commitment to music got Walker, Hobbs, and La Roy through some rough times ahead — the group endured numerous production setbacks, a former member’s alcohol addiction, and the end of another member’s marriage, all of which is chronicled on Cavo’s aptly titled independent album, The Painful Art of Letting Go, which they self-released in 2006. “We’ve had some major losses and some major gains throughout this process, but it has only made us stronger as a band and as friends,” La Roy says. After Letting Go was released in September, Cavo were ready to hit the road. The only problem was they didn’t have a bass player. Walker knew Brian Smith from the St. Louis scene and asked him to join. “Brian coming onboard literally changed everything for Cavo,” Walker says. “When he started playing with us, everything was different. It was more intense. His technical ability gave Chris the opportunity to start indulging his creative side, which in turn shaped the sound on our new album.”

In January 2007, Cavo wrote their first song as a four-piece — the ringing, tribal-sounding “Useless,” which Walker feels encapsulates everything about their musical direction. “It was clearly different than anything on our previous album. It was more aggressive, probably because of Brian. He plays parts, not just notes, and that made the music more aggressive. So I had to step up my game and become a more aggressive singer to match where the music was headed.” Soon they had two more songs, “Champagne” and “Cry Wolf,” both of which made it onto an EP that got the attention of the program director at St. Louis radio station The Point, which put “Champagne” into rotation. A few live showcases in the summer of 2008 later and Cavo signed on the dotted line with Reprise Records last October. “Signing with Reprise meant everything to us,” La Roy says. “It’s a chance for the world to hear and feel our music, and an opportunity that many people can only dream about.”

Record producer David Bendeth, who has worked with Breaking Benjamin, Paramore, and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, among others, caught Cavo at their showcase in New York City and told the band he wanted to help them make a great album that could stand the test of time. “He basically said that he wanted to record with us whether we signed a deal or not, and his passion for our music was really inspiring,” Walker says. “In the studio, he spent the time to make the songs the best they could be. He cared about the final product and it shows.” Adds La Roy: “I had a feeling this record was going to be something unbelievable and epic, but when I heard the final tracks, I was speechless.”

In addition to Cavo’s own songs, Bright Nights * Dark Days features an additional track, the powerfully emotional “Ghost,” co-written by Nixons singer/guitarist Zac Maloy, who has also worked with David Cook and Chris Daughtry, and the Norwegian songwriting team Espionage. “I was a Nixons fanatic,” Walker says, “so I had to get my geek moment out of the way when I first met Zac.”

“One of great things about being signed to a major label is that it allows our band so many amazing opportunities,” Walker continues. “It was also validation — like somebody telling you that what you’ve been focusing on your whole life wasn’t a waste of time. People would ask me, ‘How long are you going to keep playing in this band; when are you going to quit this hobby?’ Being in a band isn’t a hobby, it’s really hard work. But when it works, and you’re out there playing music with your best friends, it’s the best job ever.”

Billy Corgan Collapses At Smashing Pumpkins Concert

Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan collapsed last night during the band’s show in Tampa Bay, Florida.

According to Corgan, via his Twitter of course, he blacked out and fell into his drummer’s kit. He has no recollection of the fall.

Via Popeater:

“That wasn’t a stage move or clumsiness, that was me blacking out and wiping out…but I can tell you I’ve got quite a good bruise [and] am moving slow.”

Despite the fall, Tampa Bay music reviews were glowing about the band’s performance, including one who stated that it was “an explosion of ear-gnarling, eye-searing rock ‘n’ roll.”

Drugs Found On Bret Michaels Tour Bus

Bret Michaels is back in the news for all the wrong reasons this time as police reportedly found marijuana and unidentified controlled substances during a search of his tour bus in Indiana. The bus was initially stopped for a problem with its tail lights but police later called in a K-9 team when the drug dogs began acting suspiciously. Reports have stated that Bret was his usual good natured self and was very cooperative.

Per TMZ:

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office tells TMZ Bret was onboard one of buses when cops made the stop at around 11:30 PM. K9s found the pot. One of the buses — not the one Bret was on — had Schedule II controlled substances inside, and cops tells us they’re illegal drugs.

Michaels’ rep gave us the following statement:

“Two of Bret’s tour buses were pulled over late last night. Officers on the scene claimed there were no trailer tag lights. No arrests were made. Mr. Michaels allowed an open search of the buses and everything was handled in a professional manner.”

The police issued citations but made no arrests. The charges, however, will be sent to the Dekalb County Prosecutor’s office to be reviewed. Drugs found on a rock ‘n roll tour bus? I’m shocked! Seems like the cops saw a rock tour bus going down the road and figured it would be an easy score for them. Bret is traveling with his band so more than likely the stuff belonged to them. He DID recently perform with Jimmy Buffett… need I say more?
