Justin Bieber Cast in CSI

Justin Bieber makes little girls swoon, heals the blind and brings huge numbers to everything he touches. So CSI is all giggly with dollar signs in their eyes as they announce that The Bieb will be portraying a troubled teen on the CBS show.

Via E!:

“Every 20 years, a phenomenon like Justin Bieber graces our world. We’d like to believe that the phenomenon of CSI has had the same impact on popular culture. The opportunity to bring them together in the premiere is a great treat for our audience and all of its new viewers,” gushed Carol Mendelsohn, Don McGill and Anthony Zuiker in a joint statement. “This will be true event television.”

From the executives description he will be on more than one episode.

“He is slated to play Jason McCann, described in a CBS release as “a troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother—a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs. It is the beginning of an emotional story that will conclude later in the season.”

CSI? Really? Whateves. I think he’d make a better drag version of Victoria Beckham.

Samantha Ronson Visits Lindsay Lohan in Jail

Ah…I can smell the love rekindling. Either that or someone left the top off the dumpster behind the Jack-in-the-Box again.

According to TMZ, the lovely Samantha Ronson paid a visit to her former lesbian lover, Lindsay Lohan in the slammer yesterday.

“No stranger to the bar scene, Sam Ronson rolled over to Lynwood Correctional Facility today to visit with her ex-girlfriend Lindsay Lohan.”

Here’s hoping she wasn’t there to slip Lohan a file the hard way.

As you know, Ronson and Lohan had a tumultuous relationship that often ended with papparazzi cameras catching Lindsay high as a kite sobbing on Ronson’s door-step at 4:00 AM like any decent ho would.

The two have since split and Lindsay has tried voraciously to win her boo back. It looks like a little time in close quarters with other ladies makes Sam a Jealous Johnny.

David Boreanaz Sued For Sexual Harrassment‎

Someone is having a bad year! “Bones” star David Boreanaz, who two months ago confessed he had cheated on his wife, presumably with Tiger Woods mistress Rachel Uchitel (read about that here), was sued Thursday by an actress who claims he sexually harassed her in September 2009. The suit was filed by celeb attorney Gloria Allred – who else? – on behalf of actress Kristina Hagan, who claims Boreanaz sent her “sexually inappropriate text messages,” exposed himself and touched her last summer when she was working as an extra on his show.

Per Access Hollywood:

Among her many claims – most of which are of a graphic nature – she alleged he sent her a picture message of his genetalia. She also claims in her suit that after meeting him for coffee, he drove her to a “park near Beachwood Canyon” and when they got there, he made unwanted sexual advances, and eventually masturbated in front of her. Hagan alleged another incident occurred when Boreanaz came by her house, picked her up and made more unwanted sexual advances toward her.

“By this point in time it was apparent to Ms. Hagan that Mr. Boreanaz wanted to have sexual intercourse with her,” Hagan’s court filing continues. “She felt that she was in a no win situation and she desperately needed to obtain work but she was also determined that under no circumstances would she allow him to have sex with her. However, she also understood that she had to put up with a certain amount of his inappropriate sexual behavior in order to have any opportunity to obtain employment on ‘Bones.’”

He is said to have repeated his actions in another incident that month, when he is claimed to have fondled Hagan in his trailer before he “masturbated in front of her”. Hagan claims in the suit Boreanaz told her he could help her acting career if she consented to his advances, but later warned her that “he and his wife had argued because there were reports of his infidelity” coming out — and that he and Hagan would have to “cool it.” She is also suing Fox TV and the “Bones” production companies for failing to take corrective action against Boreanaz. She is asking a court to award damages in an unspecified amount, as well as a civil penalty of $25,000. (See a copy of the lawsuit here.) Boreanaz’ rep said in a statement Thursday the lawsuit is without merit.

Per AP:

“The allegations concerning any alleged inappropriate conduct by David Boreanaz are totally fabricated and absurd,” Boreanaz publicist Holly Shakoor said in a statement. “There is no validity to this lawsuit.”

Boreanaz sure seems to have made a lot of enemies, or a lot of money, or both! I have to say I am shocked: David seems like a nice, down-to-earth guy – I guess you never know. However, why did it take close to a year for a struggling actress to bring these so-called allegations to light? Sounds a little shady to me.

Hollywood Dame Exclusive Interview – Fefe Dobson

For her second Island Def Jam album, the aptly named Joy, the young, 24-year-old industry veteran Felicia “Fefe” Dobson is finally embracing her roots, with a no-holds-barred collection of full-throttle rock & roll that spotlights her skills as a singer, songwriter and performer.

From the cheeky, nursery rhyme playground anthem and first single, “I Want You,” the tribal percussion of “Can’t Breathe,” produced by rock legend Bob Ezrin (KISS, Pink Floyd’s The Wall, Lou Reed), and the sassy retort of “You Bitch,” produced by Howard Benson (All-American Rejects, My Chemical Romance, Daughtry, Hawthorne Heights, Gavin DeGraw, Papa Roach), to the dance-floor thump of the tongue-in-chic “Paranoia” and the arena, flick-your-Bic torch song, “In Your Touch,” Fefe has finally found the sweet spot in her mix of rock and club beats.

“I grew up with Michael and Janet Jackson, but my older sister was listening to Guns N’ Roses and Nirvana, so I was right in the middle of it,” says Dobson, a native of Scarborough, Ontario, a suburb of Toronto, where she was brought up by a single mom, a mix of native Canadian and English, with a Jamaican father she just recently reconnected with. “I like that combination, especially when I heard Janet’s ‘Black Cat,’ with its rock guitar riff. That’s what this album reflects. I tried to isolate myself from the radio and TV while I was making it. I listened to a lot of old records, like Stevie Nicks, the Doors and Led Zeppelin, real dramatic, emotional music.”

Joy reflects that passion, both musical and personal, with Fefe’s sensuality oozing out of songs like the speeded-up punk of “Watch Me Move” (“I’m a firecracker/Better tell your mother… W-w-w-w-watch me move”), the Pretenders-like ballad “Shame” and the pure ecstasy of the title track (“I got joy in the bedroom/When it’s just you and I/I got joy when you satisfy me”).

Dobson bust onto the music scene as a precocious 18-year-old, releasing her debut album in 2003, which spawned four singles, including “Bye Bye Boyfriend,” “Take Me Away,” “Everything” and “Don’t Go (Girls and Boys).” She appeared as Tina Turner in the NBC series, American Dreams, opened for Justin Timberlake’s European tour, and was featured in a Tommy Hilfiger commercial that included “Don’t Go (Girls and Boys).” The album also earned her two Juno Award nominations for Pop Album of the Year and New Artist of the Year.

By 2006, Dobson returned to the studio to work on her never-released album, Sunday Love, which featured collaborations with such artists as Billy Steinberg, Matthew Wilder, Cyndi Lauper, Courtney Love, Joan Jett, Nina Gordon and Rancid’s Tim Armstrong. In the interim, several of her songs were covered, including “Start All Over,” a song which was recorded for Sunday Love, but never made the album, by Miley Cyrus, “Don’t Let It Go to Your Head,” the first single, by American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, and “As a Blonde,” which was covered by Selena Gomez.

Four years later, Fefe is back, with an album that is a clear indication that she will be doing things her way, or not at all.

“I had to go and find myself musically,” she says about the break between releases, crediting manager Chris Smith’s confidence in her ability for the breakthrough. “I needed time to do that. Luckily, I was allowed to do it on my own, without any interference. Otherwise, I would never have been able to make this album.”

Working with producers David Lichens, Jon Levine, Howard Benson and Bob Ezrin on Joy, Dobson lives up to the portraits of her heroes she first hung during the recording of her first album—Kurt Cobain, Judy Garland, Coldplay, the Vines and Jeff Buckley. She co-wrote most of the songs on the album, usually composing on guitar, her choice of instrument.

“I play the few chords that I know,” she says. “I try to write melodies off the same chords. ‘Joy’ is written with about three chords, and an extra one in the bridge.”

Songs like “I Want You,” which has been heard in the TV series The Vampire Diaries, as well as in promos for the film Whip It and The Sims 3: World Adventures computer game, come straight from experience.

“I’m a sucker for love,” admits Fefe. “When I was in junior high, I would carry around this huge volume of Shakespeare. I just like the romantic vibe. I write about it because I fall in and out of love quite a bit. I was always pulling on my mother’s heartstrings to get more love.”

“Shame” is a torch song underlined with jungle rhythms that is a confessional in which she does the breaking up. “When I went to demo the song, I had to go see an ex-boyfriend,” says Fefe. “I felt I betrayed him, so I wanted to clear the air. I could not sing it until I did. This reflects that relationship. As humans, we’re not perfect. We sometimes hurt people and break hearts, but it’s OK to apologize.”

In “Can’t Breathe” and “Watch Me Move,” Fefe is confident in showing off her raw sexuality.

“I am woman, hear me roar,” she laughs. “Aren’t we all animals at the end of the day? I like to show that side of me, but in a respectful way. I’m just expressing myself. It’s all about feeling good and confident about yourself, and not letting anyone else tell you what you can or can’t do.”

At her young age, Fefe Dobson is more than ready to tackle expectations for her upcoming release.

“People expect you to bring it by the third album,” she says. “But I’m not letting the pressure get to me because that’s when the fun disappears. I want to laugh and enjoy myself because, at the end of the day, I didn’t do this just to do it but because I love to perform and make music. At the end of the day, I want to be rocking like Tina Turner when I’m her age.”

With Joy, Fefe Dobson is on her way to achieving that goal.

“I don’t regret a thing,” she says. “I keep moving forward and not looking back. I couldn’t ask for anything better. I’m a girl from suburban Canada who never thought I’d be able to do what I’ve accomplished. And I’m not done yet.”

In fact, Fefe Dobson is just getting started.

I had the chance to speak with Fefe about her upcoming album, what she misses when she’s out on the road, and the feelings she hopes her fans will have from listening to her new album. You can read about that below.

What kind of tour/performing schedule do you have lined out to support and promote your upcoming album?

Right now, we’re doing radio promotions all across the US, and just getting out there promoting the music and saying hi to everybody. We’re tossing around different ideas for touring.

If you had the chance to tour or record with any singer or band, who would you choose?

I’d love to do a song with Boys Like Girls. They are just super nice guys. And Rob Thomas. I met him at the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and he is just awesome.

What drives you the most to do what you love? What inspires you?

Well, I just love music. It’s an art for me.

Besides music, what are some of your favorite things to do? What keeps you grounded?

Pretty much its just all music for me. I love listening to old vinyl. I like to ride my bike. I like to ride in my journal. I like to be out in nature and hanging out with my dog.

Besides family and friends, what do you miss the most when you are out on the road traveling and performing?

I miss my dog. And I miss sleeping in my own bed.

What is one accomplishment you hope to make above all others in your life and career?

To know that I’ve made people have emotions they’ve never had before. I want to make a fun filled record and do the best that I can.

What is your favorite song on your new album and why?

My favorite song would be ‘Can’t Breathe’ because writing the song was pretty fun and I got to work with great people like Orianthi. I was a cool experience working with a collection of different people.

Have you ever written or created a song that didn’t make the album cut that you wished would have?

Not yet! So far, there have been a lot of songs that I have written that didn’t make an album, but none that have made me say ‘Noooo!’

What are some of your short term goals that you have lined out for yourself at the moment?

Just to promote the album like crazy and to have a successful release date. I always get nervous on the release day.

What sort of feelings do you hope your fans will have from listening to your new album?

I don’t know really. I don’t want to tell fans how to feel. I just hope they are satisfied with it and don’t feel as though they’ve been ripped off.

Kate Major Files Domestic Assault Charges Against Michael Lohan

In case you haven’t had enough Lohan drama this week, I present to you Kate Major’s allegations that Michael Lohan’s (aka Lindsay’s nut-job father) beat the gossip out of her.

According to a complaint filed by Major and obtained by TMZ, Lohan threatened to kill her and quite a bit more.

“My fiance Michael Lohan came home while I was sleeping in a sofa chair. He woke me up, yelling, ‘Why didn’t you pick up your cell phone, you stupid c**t.’ He then turned over the chair while I was still in it, tossing me to the floor. I crawled to the other side of the room to get away from him. He walked over to me, took his shoe off and kicked me in my face while I was still on the ground. He stood over me and said, ‘I’m going to go back to jail cause of you, cause I will kill you.’”

According to Major, Lohan flipped his lid because he thought she was going to leave him. Which, now that Lindsay is in the pokey, is highly likely.

Lohan claims the two had a argument but denies laying a hand on Major. He’s scheduled to appear in court August 18. I wonder if he’ll get Lindsay’s judge?

Amy Winehouse Pregnant?!? PHOTOS

Driving home the fact that some men will nail anything with two boobs and a pulse, reports are flooding in that singer Amy Winehouse is pregnant. Amy Winehouse’s coke emaciated frame is sporting a bump in the belly area. Naturally we media whores start screaming baby bump at the sight of bloat on a celeb. Relax. Despite the fact I like Starpulse, no life forms have been found in Winehouse’s womb.

Allegations of her knocked-up’ness started spreading after Winehouse was photographed wearing what appears to be a bathing-suit and cut-off jorts while club hopping in London last night. Winehouse is clearly sporting a bulging belly. I am 99% sure that this “bump” is a ham hot pocket. I fear the creature able to incubate in Amy’s booze laden body.

Via Starpulse:

“Amy joined reggae singer Damian Marley and rapper Nas for the evening to celebrate Damian’s birthday. The trio partied well into the night at the London sushi hotspot before moving on to the Runway club, around the corner, before returning to Kyashii to carry on partying until almost 5 a.m. We hope she’s not partying too hard if she’s expecting!”

I have to say I am a little partial to Amy as my very first Hollywood Dame story was about her and her teeth, or boobs, or something.

In my opinion, Winehouse looks more like she has the beer and coke bloats that a little Wine-O to worry about. Or maybe that’s just what I am hoping.

Chris Isaak in Running to Replace Simon Cowell

A thousand names have been thrown around when it comes to who wants to replace Simon Cowell on American Idol. Personally after Paula Abdul left, so did I. I can’t stomach wannabe crooners without Paula drunken mumbling to make it worthwhile.

The clock is ticking down as network execs want a replacement by September. The show is due to resume making fun of the talentless in January of 2011. A slew of hopefuls have been ushered in and out as the replacement Simon. Chris Isaak is the latest possible candidate.

“The network is determined to land a widely known music industry figure for the post, and THR has learned that singer Chris Isaak has met twice with the network. Isaak, in addition to penning hit songs like 1989′s “Wicked Game,” has appeared in a slew of TV series over the years, including “Eastwick,” “Cold Case,” “Smallville” and his own “Chris Isaak Show” for Showtime.”

It seems that his competition could be stiff as Harry Connick Jr.’s name has also been mentioned more than once.

Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Props Displayed at Comic Con – PHOTOS

My inner geek is hyperventilating and breathing with the aid of a paper bag in pure nerd joy. Tom Felton will participate in this year’s Comic Con and displays of props used in the final Harry Potter film are abound. Horcuxes including Marvolo Gaunt’s ring to Rowena Ravenclaw’s diadem are at the event. Yes, even the Elder Wand is there.
