Final ‘Twilight’ Release Date Announced

Brace yourselves, Twi-hards – This news may not sit well with you! “Twilight” fans will have to wait until November 16, 2012 for the release of the final big screen installment of the series – Breaking Dawn Part 2. There has been speculation on when the saga would draw to a close, with the release of the last film in the franchise being hotly debated.

Per Reel Empire:

According to reports, Summit was holding back in announcing an official release date for the second part of “Breaking Dawn” because the studio wanted to see how well “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” performed at the box office during the summer season. If you recall, “New Moon” was released last November and so far, it’s out performed “Eclipse” thus it makes sense the studio will wait to release the second half of “Breaking Dawn” in the month of November as well.

Patience is not one of my virtues, but at least we have just over two years to prepare ourselves to say goodbye to our favorite trio! The final book in the series, “Breaking Dawn”, has been split into two film with the first scheduled to hit theaters November 18, 2011. Robert Pattinson, Kristin Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and the rest of the cast are set to begin shooting the two movies in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Vancouver this fall.

Two years … let the countdown begin.

I think by the time breaking dawn finally comes out in 2011 and then the last one…after waiting two years…I will no longer be interested!

They are waiting too long. By the time they come out I will have moved on to some other interest.
