In mid-May, John Travolta and Kelly Preston announced that they were expecting baby. Their birth announcement followed the loss of their 16 year old son, Jett Travolta, who suffered a seizure and head trauma in January of 2009.
On August 8th, the excited couple had a baby shower with a bird’s nest theme. The party also delivered the news the gender of their baby. Travolta and Preston are expecting a baby boy.

“The couple celebrated their happy news with some 40 close friends at a shower held at their Los Angeles-area home.
The intimate outdoor gathering, which featured a bird’s nest theme by Lady Liberty Catering & Event Planning and a three-layer cake from baker Dorie Kinney, “was a wonderful day,” says shower co-host Keisha Whitaker. Says a family friend: “This baby is such a healing baby.”
