Lady Gaga’s Meat Dress To Become Beef Jerky

Lady Gaga shocked onlookers when she appeared at an awards show wearing a dress and accessories made out of raw cuts of meat combined to form a dress, complete with meat hat and meat purse. Now, the much talked about meat dress worn by Lady Gaga is slated to be turned into Beef Jerky and will live on instead of rotting away, according to its maker Franc Fernandez.

Seriously.

Per PopEater:

“The dress will go through a process where it becomes a sort of ‘jerky,’ and it will be archived,” Fernandez revealed to our partners at E!. “The meat dries out, rather than rotting,” he explained. “But it shouldn’t be worn again.”

The meat dress caused outrage when Gaga wore it to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards and Eminem reportedly refused to sit next to her, not being partial to the smell of rotten beef. Fernandez created Gaga’s meat dress from 50 pounds of steak, which he stitched together in a fridge before transporting it to the VMAs in a cooler.

Katy Perry on SNL – PHOTOS, VIDEOS

I apologize in advance for all the puns. I am feeling very Geraldo Rivera this morning.

[Katy Perry/Elmo SNL Skit – VIDEO]

Katy Perry was the musical guest for SNL’s Saturday September 25th , 2010 show. Perry and her boobs of wonder also did a skit poking fun at Elmo and the DD-cup debacle that had parents asking for her boobie showcasing performance be banned from ever airing on tv. (Click HERE to see Katy Perry’s banned Sesame Street performance.)

[Katy Perry SNL 'California Gurls' Performance - VIDEO]

She also dared to perform live on the show. Saturday Night Live isn’t without musical mishaps. See Kanye West, Ashlee Simpson and other guests banned from SNL by clicking HERE. So naturally when her vocals were a bit shaky at moments during ‘California Gurls’ some critics dubbed her performance “terrible” and some took to Twitter to mention that auto-tune is her best friend.

[Katy Perry Saturday Night Live ‘Teenage Dream’ Performance – VIDEO]

I think it takes testicular fortitude (or in Perry’s case titticular fortitude) to sing live on SNL. What did you think did Katy Perry bomb on SNL?

Lindsay Lohan Heroin PICS, Kissing Paris Hilton PHOTOS

News of the World, the same rag that claimed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split and was subsequently sued by the power couple, is breaking the (non)news that Lindsay Lohan enjoys heroin and making out with other women.

In some grainy photos NOTW has plastered on their site, Lindsay is seen crouching in a corner with a needle to her arm and giving the camera a ‘bitch please’ look. In another she is embracing Paris Hilton as the socialite kisses her cheek. The girls were at a “sleazy Hollywood bash” circa 2007 and dry humped on the dance floor as a camera snapped away.

“Speaking about the pictures, believed to have been taken in 2007, our source said: “What no one knows for certain is just how often Lindsay does drugs – or exactly which drugs she does.

“Lindsay has made no secret of her drug addiction. People are used to seeing her off her head.”

Well there is a resounding no-shiz moment. It is not exactly a secret that Lohan is a dirty pirate hooker and her acts of cokery knows no bounds. Regardless, enjoy your post Sunday church stroll, breakfast at Denny’s and trip to Sears with some photos of Lindsay Lohan using heroin and taking a ride on the Hilton STD dispenser.

Lindsay Lohan WILL Bail Out Of Jail Within A Few Hours

They don’t call it “Celebrity Justice” for no good reason! Lindsay Lohan WILL be a free woman – yet again – within the matter of hours after her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley filed an appeal Friday afternoon, arguing Lohan was unlawfully denied bail. So much for her being prepared to take “responsibility for my actions” and being “prepared to face the consequences.”

Per TMZ:

Judge Fox ruled earlier today … Lindsay could be held without bail. But apparently the Judge’s ruling flies in the face of California law, which gives defendants the right to bail in misdemeanor cases. Judge Patricia Schnegg, Assistant Supervising Judge for the L.A. County Criminal Courts, just threw Judge Fox’s bail decision out the window. Judge Schnegg has set bail at $300,000.

Lohan will be required to be fitted for yet another SCRAM bracelet – her third, for those keeping count – to ensure that she stays clean and sober for the next month until her probation hearing on October 22nd. She is also not allowed to socialize with any known drug users, and must be willing to submit to a law-enforcement search at any time. In addition, Lohan will not be allowed to spend her nights at any clubs or establishments where alcoholic beverages are the main seller.

And there you have it. Celebrity preferential treatment at it’s best. Lindsay must be feeling like she can get away with anything now.

Hollywood Dame Exclusive Interview – Mohombi

Universal Music is partnering with super producer RedOne (Michael Jackson, Sean Kingston, Enrique Iglesias, Akon, and Lady Gaga) on a new label, 2101 Records, and is launching with the unique powerhouse talent of Mohombi. The 23-year-old singer/songwriter was born to a Swedish mother and Congolese father, and draws on his diverse cultural heritage to create a musical style that is as distinctive as it is universal. Combining African influences with a global pop sensibility, Mohombi’s style and sound – as well as his distinctive dance moves – are destined for worldwide success.

The undulating, dancehall grooves of first single “Bumpy Ride” serve as introduction to the urgency of Mohombi’s sound as well as a parallel to his own life’s “bumpy ride.” Raised in Congo, Mohombi and his family escaped the war-torn country for Stockholm, Sweden in 1998. It was there that he and his brother, a local club DJ, formed the group Avalon, combining the dancehall and hip hop of the time with the distinctive African beats on which they were raised. From 2004 to 2008 the group sold over half a million records and won an African Grammy, while Mohombi became a prolific songwriter in his own right. At this point music was only a part-time job, and looking for something more Mohombi headed to LA. There he was introduced through friends to producer RedOne, whose own background is Swedish-Morrocan. The two clicked instantly, and are now set to release the young star’s debut album ‘Movemeant‘ early next year.

The video for “Bumpy Ride” was shot in Miami and was directed by Gil Green (Rick Ross, Lil Jon, Akon) and perfectly captures Mohombi’s feel-good vibe. Experience his sound firsthand by watching the video, and visit Mohombi.com for all the latest updates. “Bumpy Ride” is available for download now on iTunes.

I had the chance to speak to Mohombi, about things such as his interest in music, his goals, and his hobbies. You can read about that below.

When did you first realize you had an interest in music, and what sparked that interest?

I think growing up in a family of 15 siblings and being the youngest, it just comes naturally to me. We each had our own taste, artists, and influences and I was like a vacuum machine and just sucked all those in. I started young, I was the entertainer of the family. We’d have get-togethers’ or parties and I was the one dancing on the table and singing. I loved it. But I think the ‘Wow, I can make this my job, make this my dream’ moment for me was when I was 16 years old and we won the African Grammy Award. It was the moment that I realized I can actually make this my living and pursue it further.

How would you describe the sound of your music, and how do you feel your music is different from others in your genre?

I would describe it as definitely a pop-influenced. What makes it different is it’s a blend of African influences from when I lived in Congo and a mix of Sweden pop. It’s broad, its North and it’s South. I call it global pop.

How did you break into the music industry?

My brothers and I we moved from Congo to Sweden as young teenagers and were free from our parents because they stayed behind so it was kinda like ‘Ok, what do we do now?’ I started rapping when I was 10 or 11 back in Congo and when we went to Sweden it opened us up to a world unknown. We slowly started networking and getting session time in the studio. It was a long bumpy ride, and this was all back in 2000.

What are some of your short term and long term goals? What are your plans for promoting your music and upcoming album in the US?

Short term would be to continue whatever I am doing. My favorite part out of all of this is to be on stage. I’m an entertainer, it’s my gift to share and to use. Long term would be to just sing. Music is what I love the most. It’s a tool to do greater things. My entire family is still back in Congo, building things up, and I want to be able to use music and my influences to help build in Congo. My plans for promoting my music in the US is just to grind. To be where I have to be. It’s a big country and I love to travel.

Besides music, what are some of your hobbies?

Music (laughs.) I love to watch movies and to be around family. They are my support system, so whenever I have the chance to be around them I am. I love to socialize with people because I hate to be alone.

Who are some of your musical influences, and who are some artists you would love to work with?

I know it’s going to sound cliche, but I’m all about entertaining and performing and there was no one better than that than Michael Jackson, so he’s been a big influence to me. As for who I’d love to work with, I’d love to work with people like the upcoming artists. There are a new wave of amazing artists coming, like Drake. He’s a new artist with amazing talent so I’d love to work with him. Also Robyn from Sweden. She’s great. Just people with their own style and vibe. I appreciate that.

What drives you the most to do what you love? What inspires you?

People inspire me. Walking around in LA you see so many different people and it’s like ‘Where have you been all my life?’ (laughs) Traveling inspires me. Hearing so many different languages inspires me. I speak 6 languages myself, so that’s helped me along the way. What drives me is my love for music. It’s all I’ve been doing since I was 12 years old. Development drives me. I’m improving my skills every year, and that motivates me. It drives me through and keeps me aiming at the objective.

What is your favorite song on your upcoming album and why?

Oh, that’s a tough one! My favorite song would have to be ‘Loving America’ because it speaks and talks about who I am, my journey, and following my dreams and achieving my goals. It speaks about who I am and where I come from.

What sort of feelings do you hope your fans will have from listening to your upcoming album?

I definitely hope the main feeling, the prime feeling, is joy because I am a positive person. I love life, I enjoy life, and I am trying to transmit that to people through my music. I hope they feel happy when listening to it and I hope it makes people feel good.

Lindsay Lohan In JAIL AGAIN, Denied Bail – PHOTOS

Lindsay Lohan is a slave to booze, nose candy and anything that requires a prescription. So when she failed two drug tests while on probation she had to drag her coke encrusted rump back to court. Judge Eldon Fox was in charge of dealing Lohan’s sentence.

Lindsay showed up to court in her usual garb so it was clear she was expecting to get a slap on the wrist, post bail and walk out to return to drunken tweets of crackery. However, Judge Fox DENIED HER BAIL. Lindsay was then cuffed and taken into custody. She could be locked up until October 22 according to developing stories. She tested positive for coke and Adderall. Her attorney didn’t even get to make any statements or arguments before Fox handed down his ruling. Lohan looked shocked and begged with her eyes for her lawyer, Shawn Chapman to do something.

Michael Lohan burped up some statement about Lindsay’s incarceration being Dina Lohan and Linds’ attorney’s fault. I hate it when my attorney makes me snort coke at gun point too. (Insert eye roll.) She has been driven to Lynwood and she is due to remain there (as of now) until October 22nd.

Adam Levine: Jake Gyllenhaal is NOT Gay

Jake Gyllenhaal has been the subject of gay rumors for years. His role in the film “Brokeback Mountain” fueled more flamboyant finger pointing. (Because that logic is sound and means that Halle Berry can control the weather her mind, Ewan McGregor is a Jedi and Anthony Hopkins is a serial killer/cannibal.)

Adam Levine insists his long time friend isn’t gay. During an interview with Out and the topic Jake being “one of those fabulous homos” made him roll his eyes clear exhaustion of the allegations.

“Will everyone stop thinking that dude is gay? Seriously guys. How immature is it of the media to perceive this guy — it has to be because of Brokeback, right? I’ve known this dude forever. He’s one of my oldest friends, and it’s very weird that they have this — it’s very immature and infantile the way they treat his whole situation.

If him hanging out with his bros means he’s gay, it’s like further perpetuating that weird homophobia that exists in our culture, which is just stupid. So, yeah, he’s my buddy. I fuckin’ love the guy.”

Gay, straight or Clay Aiken asexual…I’d sell my kidney to hit it. He strikes me as the type that would change the oil in your car and then strut around shirtless as he waters his azaleas only to follow it by bench pressing a couch before announcing needs to go to the store for more beer, a new hammer and some more ribbon for his Bowdabra. What’s not to love?!
