Anna Kournikova Pregnant? – PHOTOS

Anna Kournikova showed up to a tennis match this weekend, sporting what looks like a baby bump. At times, she hid the bump well. At other times, not so much. And she appeared to not even bother hiding her alleged baby bump this weekend as she was leaving the gym.

Per Celebslam:

Anna Kournikova was looking pretty damn pregnant Sunday as she left a gym in Miami. My god, can you imagine if Enrique Iglesias actually knocked her up? They’re both so damn good looking, when Anna opened her legs for the obstetrician, a pair of white doves would probably fly out.

So is there a baby, or is the rounder belly the after effects from a large cheeseburger at lunch? If it’s true – Congratulations — Although the pregnancy may never be confirmed, just like Kournikova and Iglesias’ marriage. In three years time when you spot her out shopping with a toddler, THEN you can confirm she was pregnant.

Joaquin Phoenix Returns to Letterman – VIDEOS

[Joaquin Phoenix on the Late Show with David Letterman – VIDEO]

Joaquin Phoenix had appeared to have marinated himself in Rogaine while slowly loosing grip on reality (or as my Aunt Yetta called him “That poor boy who is getting the retarded. You know, he has the horrid beard and was also crazy in ‘Gladiator’. GASP! Maybe he feels such guilt for killing Russell Crowe!). We have learned that it was all a ruse for his role in the flick ‘I’m Still Here.’

During his time in the Land of Six different kinds of crazy, he visited David Letterman. The interview spread across the net (click HERE to see his original interview with Letterman) and everyone joined my Aunt Yetta’s prayer circle for Joaquin. He has returned to Letterman to explain the interview.

I am torn as to whether or not I will see the “documentary.” It seems like it is going to be a 2 hour long fart joke. Of course that would typically be up my alley being a no-heart blogger. Anyone else see it yet? Is it worth it?

Hollywood Dame Exclusive Interview – Sick Puppies

Sick Puppies don’t do things halfway, not when they’re playing live in front of their rabid fans, nor when they tackled Tri-Polar, their second major label album for RMR/ Virgin/EMI and follow-up to Dressed Up As Life.

When the Australian band decided to break through in the U.S., founding members, vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Shimon Moore and his high school classmate, bassist Emma Anzai, simply picked up and moved lock, stock and guitar amps to L.A., advertised for a drummer on Craigslist, and were soon joined by Orange County native Mark Goodwin.

After getting signed and putting out their debut, the trio made their own video independently to accompanying the first single, “All the Same,” shot in a Sydney shopping mall in which fellow Aussie Juan Mann held up a hand-written placard offering passersby “Free Hugs.” The clip attracted over 43 million views on YouTube alone, and spawned a world-wide phenomenon.

Three years later, Sick Puppies are back with a new album and producing team from Dressed Up As Life, Rock Mafia’s Antonina Armato and Tim James. Together they’ve created a sound that reflects the past four whirlwind years spent in the rock and roll fast lane, on the grueling tour grind, honing their chops until they were a finely tuned powerhouse ready to let loose with the anger, frustration and triumphs built up from all that road work.

Songs like the storming first single, “You’re Going Down,” which is being used as the theme song for the WWE’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view broadcast, and “Street Fighter War,” which was used as part of the national marketing campaign for the popular video game Street Fighter IV, distill all that energy into high-powered festival anthems.

“There was plenty of fuel, a lot of hard times, strain, personal problems and all that jazz,” says Moore of the creative process, “and we just put it all into the record. There’s no way you can prevent it from flooding into the music.”

Emma agrees much of that aggression found its way onto the album. “When you’re on that one-track path, you tend to suppress all the other stuff that may come up along the way. But all those years of playing live have paid off with us sounding stronger and more cohesive than ever before. When you perform, everything is very visceral. This album is an expression of that kind of raw emotion.”

“We wanted a big-sounding record that would connect with live audiences,” adds Shimon. “We just stuck with what we knew worked from playing over the last few years. We had a little more creative control in the studio this time, more ideas about what we wanted to sound like.

“Second time around, you’re always a little bit more aware of how to do things,” says Emma. “We’re really beginning to know what kind of sound we wanted, and how to achieve certain effects. We’re now mindful of how these songs will come across live.”

New songs like the Buzzcocks-meets-Pistols drug-laced speed-punk of “Survive,” the heavy Nirvana-esque grunge drone of “I Hate You” and the jagged shards of Rage Against the Machine rhythms in “So What I Lied” give Tri-Polar its feel of cathartic build-and-release.

“We wanted to get back to a sort of organic feel,” says Shimon. “All of that stuff you have to internalize on the road—when you can’t afford to throw a hissy fit because you’re doing an interview or performing on-stage—we let out on this record.”

Now that Tri-Polar is done, Sick Puppies are preparing to get back out there and do what they do best—play live.

“Our whole spirit comes together when we’re on-stage,” says Emma. “When we get ready to go out there, we’re like gladiators entering the arena.”

“I can’t wait,” says Mark about returning to the road. “If there’s anything that people should know, it’s that we’re all about playing live.”

In addition to concerts, Sick Puppies can be seen on theatre screens in Rock Prophecies, an award-winning documentary about legendary rock photographer Robert M. Knight, who famously took the band under his wing when they first came to the States. The film also includes interviews with Jeff Beck, Carlos Santana, Slash, Steve Vai, Billy Gibbons, Def Leppard, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Rick Nielsen and Joe Bonamassa, among others, who knew Knight, dubbed by some, “the Forrest Gump of rock and roll.”

“He was the first person we met and got to know when we came over here,” says Emma. “He introduced us to other people we still work with to this day.”

Sick Puppies have more than survived since their arrival in the U.S. by dedicating themselves to getting their music heard on a variety of different media—including TV commercials, theme songs, “Free Hugs” videos, documentary films and, of course, the Internet.

“There are just so many options out there,” acknowledges Shimon. “Every band needs a kind of hook, and we’ve been lucky because we’ve had more opportunities than a lot of others get.”

“I used to be much more concerned with fame, fortune and rock stardom,” admits Shimon. “Now my main focus is joy. A few things have happened to me over the last few years which made me realize nothing is forever. There’s always a negative and positive way to look at stuff, and you can eliminate the negative by focusing on the positive, but that’s the most difficult thing in the world to do.”

On Tri-Polar, Sick Puppies see the glass as not just half-full, but brimming over with the kind of solid-rock anthems that’ll remind even the most cynical that absolutely anything is possible.

I had the chance to speak to Mark, the drummer for Sick Puppies, about things like breaking into the music industry, what they miss the most while on tour, and what inspires them. You can read about that below.

When did you first realize you had an interest in music and what sparked that interest?

I think we all kind of have our different ways of getting into music, but mostly through the bands that we collectively grew up with, you know starting off with Nirvana and eventually to bands like Green Day. For me individually, I fell in love with the idea of playing drums and then it sorta went from there. We all have the same element of interest, from watching our favorite bands and wanting to be on stage one day.

How did you break into the music industry?

For us, I’m the only non-Australian and the others moved over here 5 years ago and I met them and now we’re based in LA. Before, they worked in Australia and came over here to the US for the market because the market here is much bigger, more people to play to. We got an independent deal, it was low budget and it took a long time to record an album. Shim made a CD for friends, and his friend over in Australia was doing the Free Hugs campaign and was filming it for about a year and put one of our songs to it, which we thought was really cool, and put it on YouTube. After a week it had over a million views and people started calling us wanting to know what the song on the video was. It just sorta came together after that with lots of exposure from places like CNN, Larry King, Oprah. We were signed and we’ve been touring a lot ever since.

How would you describe the sound of your music and what makes you feel your music is different from other artists in your genre?

I think we have an amazing bass player and amazing vocals. I think overall we’re a percussion band. Our writing is different. We’re still a rock and roll, hard core rock band. Our song ‘You’re Going Down’ is very aggressive and made it to number one. Our song ‘Maybe’, which is our third single off the new record, is more mainstream. We’re a very ecliptic range of music.

What are some of your long term goals that you have lined out for yourself?

Our long term goal is just to play as long as we can, as long as people want to hear it. It’s cool to see the fanbase grow and watch how dedicated they are. Just to do this for as long as we can, always making music. Our fans are awesome.

Have you written or created a song that didn’t make an album cut that you wished would have?

I don’t think so. For the new record, I think we recorded 16 songs, and 12 made the album but the others are available on iTunes or through special promotions with places like Walmart. Whatever we made that didn’t make it have the potential to be on the next record.

What is your favorite song of yours and why?

Collectively, it’s the song ‘Odd One’, our second single that did really well. It’s a positive song, easy to sing live. It’s a simple message, an anthem that everything is gonna be okay and that you can laugh about it someday. We’re really proud of it.

What do you miss the most besides family and friends when you are out traveling and touring?

We’re definitely a touring band, it’s what we do. We’re touring 10 months out of the year, so it’s hard sometimes. When we’re home, it’s our family time. I can’t really say anything else.

What do you like the most about being on tour?

Just playing the different shows every night. We do a lot of radio shows, outdoor shows, and smaller shows at clubs and such. It’s just a different vibe every night, but to sing a song and have the crowd singing back to you makes you think you’re doing something right.

What drives you the most to do what you love? What inspires you?

What inspires us is our fans, and for me personally, what drives me is our passion for music. We work as hard as we can, and hope to be doing it for a long time. The fans are there for us, and they are what inspires us.

What is one accomplishment you hope to make above all others in your life and career?

Our main goal right now is to go gold on this record. It’s a big goal for us, and a big accomplishment for a rock band. It sounds cliche, but we’re going to push this album as far as we can. After that goal, our next one is to sell a million records and play big shows.

What sort of feelings do you hope your fans will have from listening to your music?

I hope they have a lot of different emotions. People take different things away from different songs. I hope the fans take what they think the song means for them and not what we wrote it about. I hope they take something positive out of them.

Via Digital Spy:

“I’m looking for the next Michael Jackson,” said Lopez. “We’re looking for the best American Idol ever. I’m so excited, I really am!”

I wonder if Chris Brown plans on trying out?

Mel Gibson Blames Mel Menopause for Crazy Violence

It’s been awhile since we’ve had a fresh drama from the Melocaust.

About a year before Mel Gibson went glum C.U. Next Tuesday crazy and hit, threatened and yelled at Oksana Grigorieva, he wrote her a letter about his urge to get drunk and TP the Jewish neighbors.

Via TMZ:

“Sorry Honey,

I couldn’t sleep and my guts were churning – I Love You- and to tell the truth I haven’t really got a grip at the moment. I don’t know why I’m so whacky and depressed but I need to get well and re-enter life. Please don’t be upset I’ve gone — I’m just not myself and feel bad when I am so f**ked up and sick around you. I don’t want to inflict this unhealthy version of myself on you but be strong and together for you. I can’t be that! Maybe it’s some kind of male menopause– or Brian’s s**t or God knows what, but this isn’t who I was meant to be – I know it! I’m scared I can’t get back. I’m so ragged I could drink or commit a crime. The anger seems to be out of my control. I need to do something about it, something lasting. Not just a band aid.

Brian isn’t the answer neither is medication or the million other band aids the modern world provides cause what I’ve got is older. I should probably attend a lot of meetings again (A.A.) like I used to and be of service to more people then I’ll let go of my own selfish misery and become the man you intended me to be. Stop wallowing like some bitch my own drama. Sorry this is turning into a novel. I’ll call tomorrow.

I love you!
Need you!

Can’t live without you and I want us to be fulfilled (?) one to another, but I gotta do more work on myself.
See ya tomorrow If I’m not under a rock again.

Mel xxxxxx (Heart)”

I am no doctor but… ‘lower testosterone levels = more aggression, demands for jacuzzi blow jobs and threats of arson’ doesn’t make sense to me.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden to Marry This Weekend

Katy Perry isn’t the only beauty to have a pre-wedding party recently! Nicole Richie has been spotted on the beach in Mexico with friends such as Christina Aguilera, Samantha Ronson, Charlotte Ronson, Masha Gordon and more for her bachelorette party – with Aguilera sporting a tshirt that reads “Nicole’s Bachelorette 9/17/10″ on the back and “Tickle your chi chis with Miss Richie” on the front.

Per E! Online:

While having dinner at a local restaurant, Nic was spotted wearing a “bride-to-be” sash and necklace adorned with plastic penises.

Richie, who has been with Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden for almost four years and have two kids together, confirmed their engagement in February, five months after the birth of their second child, son Sparrow. Daughter Harlow was born in January 2008, just a year after they began dating.

About freaking time – Such a cute couple! I hope they have the good taste to keep it simple, low key, and early enough to get home to their children. I love these two!

For more information visit www.TheGreenChildren.com!

Recently, I had the chance to ask The Green Children about things such as their musical influences, their hobbies, and their favorite song on the new album. You can read about that below.

When did you first realize you had an interest in music, and what sparked that interest?

I’ve always had big dreams even though I’m from a small fishing town on the west coast of Norway! I think music has always been in my blood, my earliest memories are of singing in the nature. Norway is home to the most incredible fjords and dramatic mountains. These surroundings were such a creative canvas for me, so writing and creativity came very naturally. In my teenage years I managed to get a few record deals in Norway but it wasn’t until I got into LIPA that I started to really believe in a proper music career. Meeting a perfect creative partner was definitely a big part of that.

How would you describe the sound of your music, and how do you feel your music is different from others in your genre?

Although many people like to define music by category, our music has so far not been placed. Personally I have been pleased by this undefined musical observation. Who wants to be typecast anyway? Marlow and I have basically played written and produced every thing on our record so the sound will naturally be derived from who we are as individuals. We have both grown up in magical small towns blessed by exiting history and natural beauty. We humbly hope that these elements have been well reflected in our music and wish for our listeners to be taken on a magical journey. I believe a short description of our sound would be ethereal electro pop.

One recent review said we were a new more new-agey La Roux, but who knows!

How did you break into the music industry?

Coming from a small town, the dream of being a singer definitely seemed out of reach and not something my family considered a serious profession. In my teenage years I managed to get a few record deals in Norway but it wasn’t until I got into LIPA, a school in Liverpool established by Paul McCartney that I was really allowed to follow my ambition. After meeting Marlow there I haven’t looked back!

We went to LA whilst studying and played a lot of gigs. After attracting a few different labels , we signed with Universal Motown. Long story short, it was not a good experience for us on a Major and we desperately wanted out! After managing to escape with our masters, we finished our new album and our manager started looking at different distribution opportunities. She met Ethan Browne, Jackson’s son, a DJ and keen electronica enthusiast about the set up Spinside Records, through his Dad’s label. It seemed like a perfect fit and everyone in their camp loved our record, the positive reaction was most welcome, and here we are!

What are some of your short term and long term goals? What are your plans for promoting your music and upcoming album in the US?

Our main goal has and will always be to make music that we love! You never know about everything else, but if we’re happy with our art, that’s the only way to move forward in the right direction. We have lots of plans for the US! Touring, radio and all the usual! Watch this space!

Was there ever a time where you felt like giving up music or quitting on your way to where you are now?

Yes, at times. It’s a very difficult dream to follow and the business side of things is very tough. It’s easy to get swept away with the business and forget why you started in the first place. In addition, it’s becoming harder and harder to make a living from music. We’ve already found thousands of illegal downloads of our music and our unreleased album leaked online. I wish people would realize that if they want good art they have to support the artists!

Do you have any musical pet-peeves?

Not a big fan of over-sexual pop music, I find the lyrics and videos very embarrassing.

Besides music, what are some of your hobbies? What do you do to keep yourself grounded?

I love nature!!! Hiking, swimming, climbing, walking with my dog! I love animals too, any chance to see them in the nature makes me smile.

What is one accomplishment you hope to make above all others in your life and your career?

To find peace and happiness!

Who are some of your musical influences, and who are some artists you would love to work with?

We love the great pop music of the late Michael Jackson and the atmospheric music of Enya, Bjork and Coldplay. Both of us grew up listening to a lot of underground and electronic music as well as world-influenced tracks. Our tastes are very diverse, but we never consciously try to get our influences into our music. Most modern pop music is a little cold for our tastes, it lacks emotion, heart and any innocence.

We would love to collaborate with Enya, she is amazing!!!

What drives you the most to do what you love? What inspires you?

I don’t find what I’m looking for in a lot of popular music right now, so my journey feels right. Nature, imagination and beauty fuel my inspiration.

What is your favorite song on your upcoming album and why?

The title track ‘Encounter’ is definitely quite special for us, because it represents both our journey and the discovery of The Green Children legend. It was the last song we finished, and it flowed very quickly. ‘Price Of Fame’ also holds a special place because it describes all the ups and downs we’ve had in this crazy thing called the music business! To be honest each of the songs is a bit like a baby, this is first collection that we’re truly happy with and proud of.

What sort of feelings do you hope your fans will have from listening to your upcoming album?

We are trying to make music that takes people to another place because our favorite type leads the listener on a journey outside their own world. We both share such similar inspirations, namely nature, romance, film, magic, fantasy and innocence and hope that this comes through in our music.

David Beckham Cheating on Victoria with a Hooker – Irman Nici PHOTOS

It is pretty much safe to say that everyone is a sex maniac and can’t keep their naughty bits to themselves. So In Touch is pointing the whore finger (which I am guessing looks like a big foam finger that is pink and accessorized with Ambien) at the Beckhams.

The mag claims that David Beckham cheats on Victoria Beckham constantly. The article equates him to Tiger Woods by detailing his love for hookers. Allegations are that he indulges in threesomes and doesn’t wear condoms when he hooks up with other women. He reportedly paid a prostitute, Irma Nici, $10,000 a night for her services.

She blabbed to the rag that she engaged in sexy times with Beckham on 5 different occasions in 2007 which typically included an hour of foreplay and 15 minutes of actual sex.

Per In Touch Via Huffington Post:

“It was a high,” Irma, 26, tells In Touch. “All of these women dream of being with him, and I got to hook up with him. It was very exciting.” Irma claims that after agreeing on a price of $10,000 to stay the night, the two spent the next hour engaged in steamy foreplay. Irma says she then “whipped out” a condom and the two had sex for 15 minutes, but it was “nothing freaky,” she remembers. “He was very gentle and kind.” On a scale of 1 to 10, Irma rates David a 7½ as a lover. “He knew what he was doing.” She also recalls that David used lotion from the hotel bathroom to pleasure himself. “It was perfumed, so it kind of burned him!”

Nici continued to weave a tale about David’s dissatisfaction with Posh’s uber thin and frail body.

“During their initial sexual encounter, David even opened up about wife of 11 years, Victoria. Irma says that David told her he preferred Victoria’s old curvier body. “He was saying that he liked her body more before,” she says. David also revealed to Irma that he is “more of a butt man than a breast man.”

A rep for the Beckhams denied any extramarital activities have taken place and assert they are going to sue.

“The rumors are completely untrue and totally ridiculous, as the magazine was clearly told before publication. Sadly we live in a world where a magazine can print lies and believe they can get away with it. We are taking legal action against the magazine.”

The man is ridiculously wealthy and built like a Grecian god…why is he paying for sex? Sure he sounds like a British Kristin Chenoweth, but I’d still hit it free of charge. (You know…if he wasn’t married and didn’t have hooker cooties.)
