Original Television Soundtrack: The Vampire Diaries is out today, and fans can get a taste of the first single now in a new video featuring footage from the show. “Obsession,” the first international single from up-and-coming pop artist Sky Ferreria, is the lead track off the the soundtrack which features a mix of exclusive tracks unavailable elsewhere—including songs by Smashing Pumpkins and Gorillaz—plus favorites from season one of the hit TV show, including “Sleep Alone” by Bat for Lashes and “Running Up That Hill” by Placebo.

I’ve always been fond of the song Running Up That Hill as covered by Placebo and featured previously in shows such as The OC.. Its a great mood piece, Brian Molko’s voice is very fitting for Vampire Diaries.. I’m also a longtime Smashing Pumpkins fan
I love the song Obsession by Sky Ferreira, I think it just fits The Vampire Diaries so perfectly especially with the lyrics:

I love the song Cut by Plumb. I have loved that song since the first time I heard it, and then it played on Vampire Diaries and I was really happy. Vampire Diaries is such a great show, it would be awesome to win this giveaway!
