If you have a rabid Justin Bieber fan in your household, he’s making sure that they have plenty of things to put on their Christmas lists. In addition to his book and his upcoming acoustic album, he’s coming out with dolls and nail polish. And now, he’s putting out his own “unisex” fragrance collection. It won’t come in your everyday bottle though – instead, it will be infused into dog tags and wristbands.
Per NY Daily News:
The fragrance, named after the singer’s current tour, is embedded in a specially made resin designed to last for at least a year. The fragrance collection includes four designs: Icon, Energy, Tour and Web. They are being marketed toward girls and guys “to stack, mix and match, trade and take the scent on the go,” Michael Ferrara, president of perfume company Etoile told WWD.
Naturally, Justin didn’t create the fragrance on his own. As hard as it may be to believe, he did not spend weeks in a lab somewhere painstakingly mixing chemicals in test tubes and stuff. But he says he did have a say in it.
Per BNet:
“They actually brought me a bunch of stuff to smell today,” he told WWD. “One of them smelled too young, too fruity. One was really good.”
The scent will be called “My World” and will be available exclusively at Wal-Mart beginning on November 26th – a.k.a. Black Friday – and will be priced at $10. The scents are described as having ‘a combination of top notes of bergamot, lychee and pomegranate, a heart of cedar glimmers and a dry down of musk.’ I have a feeling this is going to be the biggest thing since those idiotic “Silly Bandz”.
