A new comic has been inspired thanks to Rob’s role as Edward Cullen. The new Superman meets brooding vampire called ‘Earth One’ is DC Comics revamped take on Superman. It’s focused on a young twenty-something Clark Kent. A rep for the project stated the goal was to tell a new version of the Superman story that is “hip, sexy and moody.”
Since Hollywood has totally run out of ideas, another Superman movie is still in the works (despite the last remake being terrible).MTV UK reports that production has started and “It is possible” Robert Pattinson could be Superman.
I wouldn’t hold my breath on this one kittens. I get that Pattinson wakes up in the more and pisses excellence in the eyes of his fans, but his name has been attached to every big movie currently in the works. It’s a good press for the upcoming flick and easy to pin the star’s name to a casting rumor.

In the history of groupie love I have never seen someone make such a remark. I understand everyone is hyped about the new movie. I also understand that because Christopher Nolan takes such pride in keeping his movies hush hush, fans are starting to make really mindless assumptions. Robert Pattinson was a good Edward and nothing more. He can not act and is another Tom Cruise who can only act in one manner. Second, Robert Pattinson as Superman would mean that Superman some how decided eating was not required in life. Comparisons to the Earth One comic being released showed a Superman too young to meet the time of the current Batman Movies. I would rather see Tom Welling play Superman and that in itself would be like the Power Rangers going to the big screen. There currently is not an actor in the mainstream who fits the look.
wow, kalab relax. i think rob pattinson is a good actor, and i don’t even like twilight. i loved him in remember me, and i am looking foward to seeing him in water for elephants. no other source has even mentioned rob as superman. the only reason they even brought him up is because the new comic superman shares the same facial features he does. plus what better way to gain publicity for something than tack on rob pattinson’s name.
Ow cmon guys! Pattinson is a good actor! Its just the role that is not that challenging! TWILIGHT is originally tailored for the young generation. The producers of the film were not aware of the risk of having Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen. But because he acted the way Stephenie Meyer described Edward in the book, Twilight Saga became overwhelming success!He acted according to his role! And yes Rob is obviously georgeous and sexy! Hes got that rare X FACTOR others do not have! So if you are the producer of SUPERMAN and your talking of business, ROBERT PATTINSON reincarnates tha popularity of The Beatles and Elvis Presley! Give Rob the chance to fit in that SUPERMAN costume after few pumps in the gym and lets see all genders young and old drool saliva to death!!!
If I would like to see Rob as Superman, he is a talented actor.
