Emily Osment’s ‘Fight or Flight’ TShirt and Signed CD GIVEAWAY!

Though she got her start as an actress and is well known for her roles in Hannah Montana and the Spy Kids movie sequels, Emily Osment has been making music for almost as long as she’s been acting. An accomplished musician who has played guitar for years, Emily co-wrote all of the tracks on her Wind Up Records debut album Fight or Flight, in stores today. The album was produced by industry veteran Nellee Hooper, who has also worked with Gwen Stefani and No Doubt, U2, Bjork, and Madonna and includes the singles “Lovesick” and “Let’s Be Friends.”

Fight or Flight is the perfect blend of Emily’s classic rock influences and state-of-the-art electropop. “I don’t want to write songs that are just surface-deep,” explains Emily, whose own favorites growing up included Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, the Monkees, the Doors and Herman’s Hermits, as well as modern groups like The Pixies and Massive Attack. “I want to be in a world where I’m making the kind of music I want to make, and that’s what I’m doing right now,” she explains about the album. “I want to find a balance between Top 40 songs like ‘Lovesick’ and ‘Let’s Be Friends’ and more complex material like ‘Marisol’ and ‘You Get Me Through‘” – the latter of which was written by Emily for her mother, whom she credits with giving her her love of music. “I’ve given 1000% to making this album,” she says. “I won’t settle for mediocrity.”

Fight or Flight is available in stores and online; the iTunes version includes the exclusive bonus track “The Game (The Cycle) [acoustic].” For more information on the album visit OfficialEmilyOsment.com, and follow Emily on Facebook and Twitter for the latest updates.

Justin Bieber To Host Ashton Kutcher’s New Punk’D Show?

Ashton Kutcher is planning to revive the hidden-camera reality show “Punk’d” for MTV, potentially with the Justin Bieber as the host behind the pranks. The show’s creators/ executive producers, original host Kutcher and Jason Goldberg, are back to executive produce the new installment through their company Katalyst. MTV and Kutcher’s production company declined to comment on the reports, so is the press being “Punk’d”? Well, probably not. “Punk’d” is the type of show that is best produced in secret – if it’s too well known, the celebrities who are the target of the tricks might be in on the jokes.

Per Rolling Stone:

Sources tell Vulture that MTV has long hoped to revive the program after Kutcher, who was executive producer as well as host, pulled the plug on the show in 2007. Bieber is said to be on the verge of a deal to host the reboot, and will likely take part in the first series of pranks.

Well, Bieber is no stranger to pranks. He had recently participated in a balloon throwing incident on state troopers which could have ended with Bieber in jail if his body guard had not intervened. That’s definitely Punk’D material.

For those Bieber fans who are too young to remember the beginning of the decade, Punk’d ran for 69 episodes over four years before it was taken off air in 2007. The show has played pranks on dozens of celebrities, including Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Katie Holmes and Matthew Perry. The premiere date for the new installment of Punk’d is yet to be set but the show has been quietly gearing up for production and will possibly be launched in 2011. We now have a whole new class of celebs who weren’t even on our radar when Punk’d exited three years ago. So get ready Bristol Palin, Snooki, and the entire cast of Glee: You’re probably about to get Bieber’ed!

Dan Gordon-Levitt, aka Burning Dan, Passes Away – PHOTOS and VIDEO

Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s brother has passed away at the age of 36. The question of how and why are still unanswered. All that has been confirmed is that Dan Gordon aka Burning Dan passed away. A note on his site confirmed the terrible news.

Burning Dan, we will miss you.
you were a shining light for our entire community
and although I know you would want us to smile, dance, and flow
I’m going to take a few moments to be sad for your passing.
For everyone who has not heard, Dan passed peacefully and unexpectedly Sunday night. In addition to founding and running Flow Temple, Dan was a celebrated poi-oneer who constantly challenged our thoughts on both how the tools could be used, and what good you could bring to the world through your art form.
He was also an incredibly sweet soul.
When we have information on a memorial service, we will pass it on.
Love you Dan.

Joseph also left this message on his Twitter:

My super hero brother @burningdan 1974-2010. Celebrate his life here ~ http://bit.ly/dBTMQ8 because he’s fucking awesome.

Our deepest condolences.

Cigar Guy in Tiger Woods Ryder Cup Shot – PHOTOS

Everyone is going all ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ to find out who this Cigar Guy is in the background of a Tiger Woods photo that shows the golfer at the Ryder Cup. Tiger’s ball is headed straight toward the camera in unique shot, but that isn’t what everyone is calling Robert Stack about.

A man in the background is smiling, wearing what appears to be a fake mustache worthy of Ron Jeremy with a cigar in his mouth has captured the hearts of many google-ers. Some people are pointing out that he resembles Spanish golfer Miguel Angel Jimenez. (I personally don’t see it, but ok.) Perhaps it’s an evil plot to destroy Woods by one of his scorned hookers. Or perhaps it’s a photoshopped hoax that we easily amused net patrons found amusing.

I threw in some Sad Keanu for good measure.

Michael Sheen and Rachel McAdams Take Romance Public – PHOTOS

I don’t know why, but I am all over this new romance alert: “Twilight Saga” star Michael Sheen and “The Notebook” star Rachel McAdams have made their budding romance public.

As The Dame herself reported last month , Sheen and McAdams had eyes only for each other after the screening of the film “Beautiful Boy,” adding to the rumors that the two were dating.

Now, US Weekly as snapped a pic of the two walking hand-in-hand in McAdams’s hometown of Toronto (OK, she is from London, Ontario which is close!).

“It’s the first time McAdams, 31, and Sheen, 41, have made their long-rumored romance public…after being spotted making out at the Toronto Film Festival.”

Sheen was once married to actress Kate Beckinsale. The two share a daughter, Lilly. McAdams is known for her long-term relationship with my boyfriend, Ryan Gosling.

James Franco in Drag for Candy – PHOTO

Christina Aguilera loaned James Franco her makeup artist to create this cover for Candy which is a fashion magazine for transgenders. (The manifesto is sort of a playground for everyone to enjoy style without boundaries.) It’s second issue features Franco in drag and the result is Julie Andrews circa ‘Victor, Victoria’ meets Joan Collins as Alexis Carrington Colby with a side of Grace Jones.

It’s breathtaking in a slightly Gloria Vanderbilt way…

“Glee” Season Two Episode Three Recap-SEE IT HERE

Dear “Gleeks”:

It was a very special “Glee,” this week, no? I mean with a title like ‘Grilled Chesus’ you knew you were in for a good time and with the previews promising something heartbreaking, I thought I had poised myself after the steaming pile that was the Britney Spears Episode last week (Read that review HERE).

And though I was moved to tears multiple times this week, I am hormonal and could easily pass those tears off on having missed the season sale at Michael Kors. But it was more than that. Much, much more.

You see, this episode made me think seriously about fathers. Many people, unfortunately don’t have them or are stuck with shoddy fathers who rarely come around. I am lucky. I have the best father in the world, hands down. And, like Kurt’s father, mine has had many issues with his heart clearly revealing why this week’s episode was so moving to me.

But ‘Grilled Cheesus’ did get me thinking about faith and the belief that not believing is actually believing in something. That sometimes, you have to believe in something, or there’s nothing. Wow. I sound like a fortune cookie at a two-bit strip-mall Chinese take-out place. You get what I mean, right?

If I look critically at this episode, I do have to say that it was quite predictable. Kurt makes a comment to his dad about his poor eating habits which includes two Slim Jims and a Coke for breakfast, which automatically lets you know that old Burt is about to take a turn for the worst. And once he and Kurt have a spat regarding Friday night dinner and Kurt’s decision to attend the coveted “Sound of Music” sing-a-long, it was a done deal that his dad would be in a coma.

Further, once we were given the story of how Kurt’s father squeezed his hand at his mother’s funeral, coupled with Kurt’s rendition of “I Wanna Hold Your Hand,” it was known that Burt would make his presence known by giving Kurt’s hand a tug in the final scenes. Predictable? For sure. But, still moving nonetheless.

So what did I actually like? First the return of Puck: I missed him and admit it, so did you. I miss the mohawk as well, but love me some Billy Joel and Puck’s decision to only sing songs by Jewish artists. Throw in lines like, “I a Jew for Jesus,” and “He’s my #1 Heb,” and I am all set. Please more Puck.

Secondly, I like the difference between Finn’s idea of praying and the others. I like this because Finn, in my opinion, truly represents what a teenage boy would be praying for: football, popularity, and making it to second base. Though it’s moving to see the Glee Clubbers huddled around Burt’s bed singing songs and praying for him, it’s not typical…trust me. I work with youth on a regular basis.

Third: Sue Sylvester wasn’t such a snarky hard-ass. Though that’s probably her best quality and, without it, last week’s episode would have been a total let-down, I enjoyed that Sue herself was torn and honest as well. Sure, she did get to throw in awesome lines about spirituality belonging at the BET Awards and not at a public school, but her zingers were few and far between.

And finally, the return of Emma as a guidance counselor. Really writers, for a while there I was thinking she no longer worked for the school but had merely developed a creeper complex like dudes who hang out near the pretzel stand at the mall. Aside from putting brochures into stands, she really had a role tonight and it seemed believable.

I myself am not a religious person. However, I do respect those who are because I think that having faith in something beyond our belief is really beautiful. I am sure many of you out there will wonder why I didn’t spend more time contemplating the subject of religion. That answer’s easy, I’m not stupid. Religion has been the cause of more wars and more deaths than anything else, so I am certainly not going to open it for debate on this humble little blog.

But, in the meantime, have a little faith in something other than Prada this week.

VIDEO ARRIVING SHORTLY!!!!

Miley Cyrus’ Family Fears For Her Well-Being

Miley Cyrus is just your typical 17 year-old ya’ll. When she’s not busy clubbin’ with her BFF Ashley Greene in Paris, or wearing bra-revealing shirts, she’s making out with her ex-boyfriend and attending church!

But now, a “family insider” tells Hollywood Life that Miley’s family is starting to think the ‘Hannah Montana’ star is headed for a path of destruction.

“At first Miley’s mom, Tish, got upset when people would tell her her daughter was being wild, but now she’s realizing it herself. We’re concerned for her. She’s 17-years-old, but is the one who makes the money and calls all the shots in the family. No one tells Miley no. And even if they did, she’s so charismatic that she’d convince them to change their minds.”

Cyrus was spotted last weekend leaving ‘Voyuer’ nightclub in Los Angeles despite being four years under the legal drinking age.
