Justin Bieber To Release An Acoustic Album

Justin Bieber has a Christmas present for you – He says he’ll be coming out with an acoustic album just in time for the holidays. Justin took to Twitter to ask fans for their thoughts on the LP, which would see songs from his previous albums re-worked for a new record.

Per EW:

“curious…,” he started. “What is your favorite song on MY WORLD and MY WORLD 2.0?? If you could remix any song with another artist which would it be?” Then Justin shot his music director Dan Kanter a line suggesting they, “make an UNPLUGGED album for the fans for the holidays….or maybe we already did…hmmmm“

“maybe we need to give everybody an UNPLUGGED acoustic album with that new song I cut in Hawaii for the holidays…thoughts???” he continued. “..so an UNPLUGGED album for the HOLIDAYS????”

There’s no word on an album title or release date yet. Although, as Justin said, it sounds like it’s already recorded… and will be out in time to be delivered by Santa. Will it be on your Christmas list?

Taylor Swift Slams John Mayer in New Song

Taylor Swift is like a basket full of kittens and it baffles me as to why Robo-Douchebags like Kanye West and John Mayer feel the need to make her cry. It also baffles me as to why T. Squints would let Mayer play with her My Little Pony palace in the first place, but a new song from her latest album, ‘Speak Now,’ is reportedly directed at John.

“They’re all made very clear,” Swift said about her penchant for taking revenge via song. “Every single song is like a roadmap to what that relationship stood for, with little markers that maybe everyone won’t know, but there are things that were little nuances of the relationship, little hints. And every single song is like that. Everyone will know, so I don’t really have to send out emails on this one.”

In the song, “Dear John” she laments about an older man taking advantage of her 19 year old innocence. Swift and Mayer were rumored to be dating while working on a duet together. Taylor didn’t believe that John’s face belongs on a box of Summer’s Eve and let him break her little glitter covered heart .

“Dear John/I see it all now that you’re gone/Don’t you think I was too young/To be messed with/The girl in the dress/Cried the whole way home/I should’ve known.” A second version of the chorus includes the lines: “It was wrong/Don’t you think nineteen’s too young/To be played/By your dark, twisted games/When I loved you so.

“My mother accused me of losing my mind/But I swore I was fine/You’ll add my name to your long list of traitors who don’t understand/And I’ll look back in regret I ignored what they said/’Run as fast as you can’.”

I side with Taylor, but gurl…you have got to grow thicker skin and let your lady version of testicular fortitude drop. The adorable innocence thing isn’t cute past the age of 20.

I thought celebs had minions to ensure that they are photo ready before stepping onto the carpet at any event. Uma Thurman’s glam squad must be on vacation because she looks like she dove head first into a pile of blow circa Scarface.

Uma was guest speaker at The Feminist Press at the City University of New York’s 40th annual gala last night and walked around with powder caked on her face. This was similar to a Nicole Kidman make up disastuh at the ‘Nine’ premiere.

Word to the wise…. according to my makeup artist (the old queen at the Lancôme counter at Macy’s) anything with a high SPF can light up thanks to bright lights of camera flashes.

Like every other blogger I am a slave to Google Trends so I apologize to the masses that really don’t care to see Will Smith’s daughter’s weave fly through air and finger paint her classroom.

Roc Nation Entertainment signed the 9 year old after her neck brace anthem made everyone go Awww! (Or Jay-Z answered the phone when Will Smith made a couple of calls.) She is expected to dethrone The Bieber from his reign as ruler of the twisty slide or at least co-dominate the playground since Miley Cyrus got a case of the sluts and hit puberty.

Mel Gibson To Cameo In ‘The Hangover 2′

Apparently, allegedly beating up your girlfriend, using a ton of racial slurs, and referring to a female police officer as ‘Sugar t*ts’ will land you a role in one of the year’s most sought after sequels.

That’s right, kittens. Despite Mel Gibson’s current life situation, his former co-star and good friend, actress Jodie Foster confirmed to People Magazine that Gibson will have a small role in the upcoming movie ‘The Hangover 2.’

“He really liked the humor in that first [Hangover] movie, so I’m glad he’ll be in it!”

Foster also boasted that Gibson is one of the most “loved men” in the business.

According to sources, Gibson will not star as himself, but rather an outlandish character similar to the role Tom Cruise played in the film ‘Tropic Thunder.’

‘The Hangover 2′ features the same actors as the first film, including Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms, as the boys take the party to Bangkok, Thailand.

Taylor Swift’s New Song “Mean”- LISTEN TO IT HERE

Taylor Swift is ending her run to digitally pimp her new album, “Speak Now,” with the release of a third song from the CD titled “Mean.”

“Mean” is Swift’s anthem to all her haters (does she really have haters) and includes marvelous lyrics like: “All you are is mean. And a liar, and pathetic, and alone in life.”

Many critics are stating that “Mean” was written for Swift’s ex-boyfriend, and current Ashley Greene boy-toy, Joe Jonas (read about that romance HERE).

“Mean” definitely has a more country vibe than Swift’s last two releases from ‘Speak Now,’ “Back to December” and “Mine.”

Katy Perry’s Pre-Wedding Rules

Katy Perry and Russell Brand will be getting married later this month in India and are currently busy making last minute preparations. But now Katy has reportedly laid down some very strict pre-wedding rules that Russell must follow, allegedly imposing a pre-wedding sex ban on Russell. Katy is said to have slapped the restriction on her former sex addict partner in order to make the couple’s first night as man and wife particularly meaningful.

Per Mirror.co.uk:

A source said: ““Katy wants everything to be special for their wedding, including the first night. The sex ban was definitely her idea. Russell has reluctantly agreed, and they are sure it will be worth it after they have tied the knot.”

The couple are reportedly heading to India later this month to wed in a traditional Hindu ceremony, rumored to be held October 23rd. I’ve actually heard of people doing this including some of my friends. Not a bad idea if you ask me – although all the pre-wedding stress may be harder to deal with when a ban in imposed!

Justin Bieber Investigated For Assault

The Mounties are investigating an alleged assault involving Justin Bieber and a 12 year boy at a Canadian Lasar Tag center. According to the RCMP, the incident occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. on October 15th.

Per TMZ:

A 12-year-old boy claims Bieber hit him while playing a game, according to the reports, though he suffered no visible injuries. A rep for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police tells TMZ the incident was reported to authorities by the boy’s father. Though the rep wouldn’t confirm anything about Bieber, they did say they are in the process of interviewing witnesses.

According to one source, Bieber was participating in a game of laser tag when he accidentally knocked over the boy while trying to avoid being tagged. The RCMP say that the boy’s injuries did not require medical attention. They will continue to investigate the matter, indicating that criminal charges are possible.

My guess? The parents of the 12 year old boy smell Bieber’s deep pockets and are looking to cash in.

Kanye West’s Album Art Banned: NSFW-SEE IT HERE

No stranger to controvery, rapper Kanye West has now had his latest album, ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’, banned from stores due to it’s artwork.

Naturally, West took to his Twitter page to announce to the world the travesty of places like Wal-Mart banning the cover which shows a painting of West in a lewd sexual position with a female Phoenix.

Via Entertainment Weekly:

“Banned in the USA!!! They don’t want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix… In the 70s album covers had actual nudity… It’s so funny that people forget that… Everything has been so commercialized now… So Nirvana can have a naked human being on they cover but I can’t have a PAINTING of a monster with no arms and a polka dot tail and wings.”

The only issue? According to several source, no one has actually banned the artwork. In fact, Def Jam, West’s label, strongly urged him to change the picture but told him that if he did not, the label would stand behind his decision to keep it.

What? Kanye trying to drum up free publicity before the release of his album? That’s SO not a Kanye thing to do.
