New Music Friday – Mitchel Musso

Mitchel Musso and Walmart are proud to announce the highly anticipated release of Mitchel’s second album “Brainstorm.” Through this exclusive deal, the CD will be available at all Walmart stores nationwide, on Monday, November 22nd. It is currently available for pre-order here. For this album, Mitchel collaborated with a number of multi-platinum and award winning producers, including PJ Bianco (Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato), Michael “Smidi” Smith (Ke$ha, One Republic, Pussy Cat Dolls), Steve Diamond (Orianthi), and Robbie Nevil (Destiny’s Child). The album consists of eight original songs which have all been written and co-written by Mitchel.

The first single from Brainstorm is “Get Away,” which was produced by PJ Bianco, the writer/producer for the Jonas Brothers’ smash hit, “When You Look Me in the Eyes,” and producer behind hits for Nick Jonas. Fans can also pre-order the album along with limited edition packages that will include the album, a T-Shirt, a key necklace, temporary tattoos, and a personalized Mitchel Musso guitar pick here.

In 2009, Mitchel emerged as one of the fastest rising new music stars and released his self titled first album, which debuted in the top 20 on the coveted Billboard charts. Mitchel’s first single “Hey” off his first album shot to #8 on the iTunes Pop chart. “Hey” was one of his six singles to hit the Top 10 on Radio Disney’s Top 30 chart. He has shared the stage with some of today’s biggest names, including Selena Gomez, and Miley Cyrus, and was named by MTV as one of 2009’s top Rookie artists to watch. As one of the most popular actors and musicians of the new generation, he is currently starring in Disney’s hit series, “Pair of Kings.” He previously starred along Miley Cyrus in Disney Channel’s Emmy nominated series, “Hannah Montana.” He can also be heard in Disney Channel’s hit Emmy nominated, animated series “Phineas & Ferb.”

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Engaged – UPDATED

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are engaged according to E!. The nemeses of monogamy pulled a TEE-HEE fooled you! on Halloween by Tweeting a pic of Eddie on bended knee in from of an asylum cart with the word “lunatics” painted in fake blood. It pretty much speaks for itself.

Anyway, the media outlet reports that Eddie is putting a ring on because he needs the money…

“Eddie Cibrian is going to make an honest woman out of LeAnn Rimes. Though it didn’t happen on Halloween, the recently divorced actor indeed popped the question recently and the duo are engaged, a source tells E! News.

So no wonder Brandi Glanville wants to have a civil sit-down with her kids’ future stepmom… Glanville, who has two children with Cibrian, told E! News today that she planned to meet with her sworn enemy pal-in-the-making next week.”

Rimes was recently on the cover of Shape magazine and readers of the mag wrote angry letters and grabbed their pitchforks after featuring her on the cover because she Angelina Jolie-ed Eddie. The Editor in Chief, Valerie Latona, cranked out a written apology and explained, “”putting her [Rimes] on the cover was not meant to put a husband-stealer on a pedestal-but to show (through her story)…”

Regardless, in a few years this is going to end with LeAnn walking in on Eddie nailing a flight attendant on the kitchen table.

UPDATE: Looks like E! jumped the wedding shotgun. LeAnn confirmed via her rep (Twitter) that she and Eddie are not engaged. It’s a bit of a longer rant so bring a snack pack….

Ok, I’ve about had it with the lack of “reporting” with E News. The fact that our “engagement” has spread so furiously over the past 24 hours off of an E News article that is 150% untrue just shows you the lack of credible “sources” they seem to find and build a story around. When CNN is calling my publicist off of a lie E News has reported, the media world seriously has a problem with their lack of responsibility to the public to actually report the truth. Even though this is positive “news” its not true. Imagine all the negative “true stories” they’ve reported over the last year that aren’t true either. Gina Serpe and especially, Whitney English reporting for E News should be investigated for their lack of “investigative reporting.”Eddie and I are beyond happy and in love and look forward to one day sharing such private news with you all and hopefully will be able to enjoy it privately and share it with our family and friend’s before the world knows (contrary to reports on our intentions). So, nothing has been “exclusively” broken E News except maybe some of your credibility, sorry…I’M PREGNANT TOO!!! LOL Thanks to all of our wonderful fans for the premature congats, but for now, let’s all be happy we’re happy and still and will remain together! Eddie and I felt we couldn’t let this rumor go on any longer.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are Engaged

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are vanilla squared, but they are engaged. So bust out the corndogs and tissues for Jessica Simpson. Nick Tweeted the confirmation of their engagement…

“Hey all. If anyone’s heard the rumors of my engagement, they are absolutely true! Vanessa and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks for all the love”

A rep, who was glad to finally have something to do, also had the couple craft a statement full of giggles and rainbows…

“We’re excited and incredibly happy about our engagement and we look forward to a wonderful future together.”

As far as the act of putting a ring on it goes, he stated that he proposed “on bended knee” with what is rumored to be an Asscher-cut diamond with baguettes from Bader & Garrin.

“I popped the question on bended knee. I do a lot of squats so my knees are very strong.”

Their chocolate fountain, cascading white lilies, chicken tenders buffet and open bar will be brought to you by Jessica Simpson’s money.

Justin Bieber Talks About Being Bullied On “Ellen” – Video

The Justin Bieber ‘Ellen DeGeneres’ interview that aired yesterday will have teeny boppers screaming at the top of their lungs if they haven’t seen it yet. For all you with Bieber fever, if you were in school at the time and didn’t get to catch it or forgot to set your DVR, the Biebs sat down with Ellen to discuss his new acoustic album coming out soon, his new book, and being a victim of bullying.

Per DailyMail:

‘Everybody goes through bullying,’ he told Ellen DeGeneres on Wednesday afternoon’s edition of her talk show. ‘Everybody has, even me. On my YouTube page, there are so many haters. They just say crazy stuff. Like, I’m not mad, I’m 16 and I don’t have chest hair. I’m not angry about it at the moment. That will come,’ added the star. ‘People are like, “Look at him, he puts helium in his voice before he sings,”‘ he said. ‘You just have to laugh at yourself. It’s funny.’

This would be all fine and dandy if his fans weren’t notorious for sending death threats to anyone who says anything against him. For the record, I’m not sure this is considered bullying – A superstar celebrity being made fun of on YouTube comes with the territory of being a celebrity. To quote Ray Romano, “Go Cry On A Big Bag Of Money”.

Lady Gaga Haunted By … A Ghost?

Lady Gaga is a unique gal, there’s no debating that. But would you consider Lady Gaga to be crazy? Maybe it’s her outfits, the crazy platform shoes, or her dark performances that makes you think maybe she’s a little off. But maybe Gaga is even more crazy than we originally thought. In a recent interview Gaga told the media that she’s being haunted by a ghost.

Per Herald Sun:

A member of her touring crew told the Daily Star newspaper: “She’s been telling us all for months that she has a male spirit called Ryan who travels the world with her. She’s pretty terrified by this spirit, but more than anything he’s annoying her as he won’t leave her alone.”

Gaga has informed her friends that Ryan has not done anything scary to her but she does not like him staying around her all the time. She is extremely freaked out and wants to do away with her ghost altogether but Ryan appears to follow her around all over the world. An insider said that although Lady Gaga is in tune with her spiritual side it seems that the presence of a ghost is a bit too shocking even by her standards.

The source added: “She contacted a spirit medium and organized a seance so she could communicate with him and tell him to go away. She gathered all her friends over the weekend in Belfast, Ireland, and held the seance to find out what he wants. She’s convinced she picked this up as a bad omen.”

Maybe this has something to do with all the drugs Gaga did back in the day… Let’s hope that Lady Gaga and her ghost boyfriend have a clean breakup.

David Cassidy DUI Bust

It seems that former ‘Partridge Family’ idol, David Cassidy, had a whole lotta happy last night in Florida.

The actor/singer was busted by Florida State Highway Patrol after his 2008 Mercedes was spotted weaving all over the Florida Turnpike.

TMZ is reporting that, once pulled over, it was discovered that Cassidy had a half empty bottle of bourbon in the car.

“According to cops, Cassidy told the trooper that he’d had a glass of wine around lunch time and popped a hydrocodone painkiller a few hours before the arrest.”

According to police reports, Cassidy blew a 0.139 and a 0.141 on his breath test-way over the 0.08 legal limit. Cops also stated that Cassidy was swaying while trying to stand for the test.

He was taken to jail and was later released around 3:30 AM on $350 bond. Cassidy’s actress daughter, Katie Cassidy, was also busted for DUI back in 2007.

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato Relationship a Publicity Stunt

Insert my shocked face. The Demi Lovato/Joe Jonas/Ashley Greene saga continues.

Since Demi has gone Disney starlet crazy and reportedly hit a back up dancer in a emotional breakdown, rumors have been heaved from every ‘source’ and ‘witness’ media outlets can get their hands on. Currently the most repeated story is that Lovato is exhausted, stressed and distraught with anger and jealousy as Joe Jonas prances around in front of her with his tongue in Ashley Greene’s mouth.

According to new reports, their entire relationship pre-Camp Rock 2 was all just a publicity stunt that Demi wasn’t in on. Disney allegedly pushed Joe to date Demi as they geared up for the sequel.

Via Zack Taylor:

“She felt everything was a big lie. When Joe [Jonas] and his father told her the truth, she couldn’t deal with anything anymore, even though Joe admitted he did have some feelings. She still totally lost it, and nothing was ever the same after that; She didn’t know who to trust or what was real anymore. In all honesty, she loved Joe, and to find out it was all fake, destroyed her.”

As for the breakdown, E!’s correspondent, Ken Baker, stated via his Twitter that Demi attacked a back up dancer named Alex Welch who goes by BGirl Shorty:

“I’m told the dancer Demi Lovato allegedly struck was Alex Welch – goes by profesh name “B Girl Shorty”+ danced for Biebs..”

Welch danced in “Camp Rock 2,” “Step Up 2” and “Stick It.” Apparently, Demi blamed her for squealing to tour handlers the details of how she spent a previous evening partying after a group dinner. The scuffle then turned to Ashley and Demi allegedly threatened her. More on that HERE….

Despite the many rumors and reports that Ashely and Joe are somehow to blame, reps insist it was a simple stress related breakdown and there was “never an issue between Ashley and Demi, and there is no truth to any rumors about a conflict.”

Lil’ Wayne is a Free Man

Weezy fans rejoice!

Lil’ Wayne is officially a free man this morning after spending a year of his life in lock-down in Rikers Island jail in New York City.

TMZ is reporting that Weezy served 8 months of his one year sentence for attempted possession of a criminal weapon. This occurred when illegal firearms were discovered in his tour bus back in 2007.

While in prison, Wayne had several famous visitors including protege Drake and Kanye West.

Jay-Z Feels Sorry for MC Hammer

Aww, he is kinda cute in a lost old person kinda way. MC Hammer (real name Stanley Kirk Burrell) has a case of shut up or I will tell mom and tried to “dis” Jay-Z. The once infamous Hammer is angry after Hubba mentioned his money troubles during the 90’s in Kanye West’s track, “So Appalled.”

“Hammer went broke so you know I’m more focused / I lost 30 mil’ so I spent another 30 / ‘Cause unlike Hammer 30 million can’t hurt me’.”

In answer, Stanley, put together a sad little video dis called “Better Run Run!” and accused Jay of stealing his swagger. He’s right, no one can shill Cash4Gold like Hammer. It’s laughable and features a hefty version of Jay running from someone dressed in a budget Halloween costume.

The ‘Empire State of Mind’ crooner isn’t exactly hurt by the attempted “dis” and expressed that he feels sorry for Stan.

Via NY Daily:

“I didn’t know that wasn’t on the table for discussion,” Jay-Z told British radio. Jay claims he has nice things to say about Hammer in his book “Decoded,” set to be published Nov. 16.

“He’s going to be embarrassed,” he said. “I said some really great things about him in the book … It is what it is. He took it the wrong way.”

The moral of this story kittens is that Hammer still doesn’t know how to spend his money wisely.
