Britney Spears Wants Custody Of Her Children Back

Britney Spears has been awfully quiet lately – but now, since she’s apparently trying to take control of her life again, she wants her two kids with her on a full-time basis. Spears has reportedly told ex-husband Kevin Federline, who has full custody of their boys at the moment, that she wants them to come stay with her and boyfriend Jason Trawick now and he’s none to thrilled.

However, Kevin has told his ex-wife – who sees the boys every week – he wants to keep custody of their sons, who live with him and his girlfriend Victoria Prince in Los Angeles. The source added: “Britney and Kevin’s relationship is amicable – Kevin likes Jason and knows he’s a stable influence on Britney.

“He’s told her she can visit them every day but there’s no way he’s handing them over full time.”

Can you blame the guy? While it’s great that Britney is getting her life back together, she’s still got a long way to go before she proves she’s stable enough to take care of two little children in addition to herself.

Kelly Preston Gave Birth to a Baby Boy

John Travolta and Kelly Preston have welcomed their baby on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Preston gave birth to a little boy in a hospital in Florida. The couple, who has been facing a slew of rumors, named him Benjamin. The little wee-head weighed 8 lbs., 3 oz. Both mother and son are doing well.

“John, Kelly and their daughter Ella Bleu are ecstatic and very happy about the newest member of the family,” they say in a statement. “Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully.”

Congratulations to the Travolta family.

Bristol Palin had been getting death threats while Baby dominated the season. Kyle Massey (Disney star yet to take a trip to rehab) was the only real competition for this mess. So it was no surprise when Jennifer Grey won ‘Dancing with the Stars’ season 11.

4 Quick Questions With J. Lewis

It can be tough to stand out from the crowd in Hollywood’s cutthroat entertainment industry, but J.Lewis – with his impressive resume of talents and accomplishments – is making his mark with the release of his latest single “Shut ‘Em Up.”

J.Lewis grew up in a Dallas, Texas suburb surrounded by a variety of musical influences, everyone from Steely Dan, the Beatles and Jack Johnson to Prince and his number one inspiration, Michael Jackson. An athlete in high school, J decided his real passion lay in dance, trading in the locker room for the hardwood floors and mirrors of an urban dance studio. By age 17 he was headed to Hollywood, hoping to break into music by way of the dance industry. “I just didn’t want to be auditioning for other people’s videos,” J quickly realized. “I wanted to be making the video.”

Pursuing this path included waiting tables as he paid dues, honing his songwriting craft, taking vocal coaching and learning new instruments besides guitar. Three years of working the Hollywood music scene finally paid off in 2008, when one of his many showcases at venues like The Viper Room, The Roxy and The Hotel Cafe led to a production deal with Blackground/Interscope Records. A track he recorded with FloRida recently made the rounds of the internet, but J is ready to rocket up the charts with the groove-worthy track “Shut ‘Em Up.” Watch the video here, and visit JLewisOnline.com for all the latest info.

I had the chance to speak with J. Lewis and ask him for quick questions. Check them out below!

When did you first realize you had an interest in music and what sparked that interest?

I think it began when I was little and an episode of “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” came on and I was just trying to copy the damce moves and performances on there. It just kind of stuck with me since then.

What drives and inspires you to do what you love?

The fans. Getting to do what I love. Getting up there and having fun. Being able to share things with everyone. Doing something different everytime. You can go in the studio in a good mood and record a club pop song and then the next day go in and record a ballad. It’s just how different things can be.

Do you find it easy to sing and perform? Does it come naturally for you?

It’s the easiest part of what I do, but it’s not easy. You have to work at it but it’s a lot of fun.

Besides music, what are some of your favorite things to do?

Hanging out with my family and friends, kicking back and having a couple of drinks, watching some tv or some movies. The normal stuff.

Dane Cook Reveals Taylor Swift Tattoo – VIDEO

Taylor Swift got a surprise during an appearance on Jay Leno’s show last night when comedian Dane Cook performed a tribute to her after taking off his shirt to reveal her face on his chest.

Per PopEater:

“Taylor Swift, you’re a gift. Give me a lift to your heart, beating inside my chest, I did my best. Download it now,” Cook sang. “We love you Taylor, Taylor, Taylor Swift!”

Swift then got up and took a bow as the audience applauded Cook for his performance.

Fantasia Barrino Makes Shocking Courtroom Revelation‎

The drama that is her life seems to have no end. Fantasia Barrino made a sensational confession in a North Carolina court on Monday during ex-boyfriend Antwaun Cook’s divorce proceeding with his ex-wife Paula Cook. Saying she knew from the start that he was married but thought he was separated, Barrino also confessed to being pregnant with Cook’s baby and getting an abortion shortly before her August 9th suicide attempt.

Per NY Daily News:

Fantasia Barrino has admitted to becoming pregnant and aborting the child of her married boyfriend around the time of her attempted suicide. Barrino, 26, made the shocking claim while under oath in a North Carolina court Monday, according to RadarOnline.com. The confession was made during the divorce proceedings of Barrino’s lover, Antwaun Cook and his ex-wife.

Barrino acknowledged she dated Cook “off and on for about 11 months” but said she believed he had separated from his wife. Reportedly, during yesterday’s emotional courtroom standoff, Barrino was also grilled on how much she knew about Cook’s marital status when she met him.

“Paula’s lawyer is arguing that they got the room because she knew he was still married,” a courtroom onlooker told Radar.

Paula filed for divorce seeking custody and alimony in early August citing “alienation of affection,” essentially, home-wrecking. Alienation of Affection is a law still recognized by only seven states – one of which is North Carolina – where an abandoned spouse can file lawsuit against the party responsible for the failure of their marriage, typically the adulterous spouse’s lover. She and Barrino met for mediation November 1st with Barrino reportedly willing to hand over $100,000, but Paula unwilling to settle without her admitting she’d known Antwuan was married.

Something tells me that this is going to get a lot messier before we see the end.

Dust off your ascot and say-something hat with gigantic flower on it. Prince William and Kate Middleton have announced their wedding date. All you bridezillas getting married on Friday, April 29, 2011 better reschedule because you will be competing with Will and Kate.

“Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton will be married on Friday 29th April 2011”

The couple’s engagement announcement also first made it’s debut on Twitter. ClarenceHouse tweeted:

“The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton”

William and Kate will have the ceremony at Westminster Abbey. It is the church where Princess Diana’s funeral was held, Queen Elizabeth II was married, British kings and queens are crowned and where 17 monarchs are buried.

Fingers crossed this will be the Best Man….

Mark Wahlberg: “The Happening” Was BAD

You have to love Mark Wahlberg. From his pant dropping days with the Funky Bunch to his career packed with street thug slayer/cop/football player. The fact that he is deliciously built is just gravy on his Beef Manhattan.

What is really fantastic about Marky Mark is that he says whatever is on his mind. For instance, during a press conference for “The Fighter” he spoke of finally getting to work with Amy Adams. They were due to co-star in a previous film, but he voiced his jealousy in the fact she didn’t take part in the bomb.

“I was such a huge fan of [Amy Adams]. We’d actually had the luxury of having lunch before to talk about another movie, and it was a bad movie that I did. She dodged the bullet. I don’t want to tell you what movie… All right, The Happening with M. Night Shyamalan. It is was it is. F*cking trees, man, the plants. F*ck it. You can’t blame me for wanting to try to play a science teacher. You know? I wasn’t playing a cop or a crook.”

Honesty is the best policy. So is shirtlessness.
