Aretha Franklin Has Cancer

As we reported earlier in the week, Aretha Franklin recently underwent super-secret surgery. Unfortunately, her family revealed to Fox 2 News Detroit today that the Queen of Soul has cancer.

“At this time Franklin’s family says she is doing ‘OK’, but they are asking for the continued prayers and thoughts from the community.”

According to an unconfirmed story in the National Enquirer, Franklin is suffering from incurable pancreatic cancer.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Queen and her family.

Katy Perry Talks Married Life On ‘Ellen’ – Video

Katy Perry‘s been all over TV the last week or so. She’s done lots of performances and today she sat down to chat with Ellen on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show.’ I love Ellen because she always asks great questions and gets the celebs to fess up. Ellen talked to Katy about married life with her new hubby, Russell Brand. Katy also performs on this afternoons show.

Ah changing her name! Katy Brand just doesn’t have the same ring as Katy Perry. Hopefully she’ll still use Perry as her professional name. And here’s her performance of ‘Firework‘ on the show complete with an orchestra. Awesome!

Beyonce Drops $2 Million On Jay-Z’s Birthday Gift

A $2 million dollar birthday gift seems a little bit over the top. Then again, this doesn’t seem so ridiculous when Beyonce and Jay-Z make a combined $200 million a year, if not more. So what did she buy her husband for his Saturday birthday?

Per Herald Sun:

AMERICAN singer Beyonce proved her love for husband Jay-Z by buying him the world’s fastest road car for $2 million. The 29-year-old pop star treated her rapper husband to a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport for his 41st birthday, according to The Sun.

Sports car enthusiast Jay-Z knows a little something about cars. He’s a powerhouse behind GMC and already owns a Maybach 62S, a Ferrari F430 Spider and a Pagani Zonda Roadster. Worth $2 million, the Bugatti can go from an easy 0 to 225 mph in just about 3 seconds. Who wouldn’t mind being behind that wheel? Happy belated birthday to you, Jay-Z!

Oprah Say “I’m Not Gay” – Video

Rumors have been swirling for years that the Queen of Daytime, Oprah, is really a lesbian and has been in a relationship for some time with her best friend Gayle King. She finally addresses the rumors in her recent interview with Barbara Walters.

Per NY Daily News:

“I’m not even kind of a lesbian,” the talk show queen, 56, tells Walters. “And the reason why [the rumor] irritates me is because it means that somebody must think I’m lying. That’s No. 1. No. 2 … why would you want to hide it? That is not the way I run my life.”

Oprah on Gayle:

“She is … the mother I never had,” Winfrey says as she chokes back tears. “She is … the sister everybody would want. She is the friend that everybody deserves. I don’t know a better person. I don’t know a better person.”

“It’s making me cry because I’m thinking about … how much … I probably have never told her that,” she adds.

Their long-time friendship is beautiful. Two women can absolutely be best friends forever and not be gay. Gayle and Oprah are those kind of friends. Her relationship for the past 20 years has been with Stedman Graham and she says that she is happy with her life.

The entire interview will air on Thursday night at 9/8 p.m. central.

Wesley Snipes Swears He Isn’t Going To Prison – Video

It’s tough to have sympathy for super-rich people who don’t pay their taxes, even a tiny shred of sympathy – none here! That being said, Wesley Snipes has less than two days to turn himself in to federal prison – but, there’s one problem… He’s ABSOLUTELY in denial! Appearing on ‘Larry King Live’, Snipes pulled out the big guns during an interview that CNN was calling ‘his last interview before prison.’

Per EW:

“We still have prayers out there, Larry. We still believe in miracles. So don’t send me up the river just yet.”

Snipes is set to begin his three-year prison sentence in Pennsylvania on December 9th for willful failure to file federal income tax returns… And it’s about time, too! The guy has only filed about a gazillion appeals – all denied, by the way.

Evidence Of Christina Aguilera’s Breast Implants?

Christina Aguilera has once again sparked rumors of going under the knife. There’s been endless speculation that she has breast implants, and a new photo may finally prove it once and for all. While in Tokyo this week to promote ‘Burlesque‘, she raised her arm to wave to fans and revealed a scar in her right armpit, a common sign of a breast augmentation where the implants are inserted through the armpit.

Per Right Celebrity:

Breast implants are a topic Christina Aguilera has always refused to comment on. However the above picture taken of the singer waving at fans in Japan showing an odd scar under her armpit have sparked the did she or did she not get her boobs enlarged rumor again.

According to the Daily Mail the scar, which is a small line, could be the result of a transaxillary endoscopic breast augmentation which is a breast enlargement technique where implants are placed through an armpit incision. The site further reports that specialist have confirmed that getting plastic surgery on your chest that way would leave an inch long scar.

A celebrity? With BREAST IMPLANTS?! This can’t be! Compare the pictures below of Christina now with the ones of hers from the 90′s. Who really thought they were real?

Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift Moving in Together ?!

Another false report.

For about two months now Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift have been drinking copious amounts of coffee together and giving me the pedo creeps. A report by In Touch claims they are ready to move in together. Save your gag reflex for whatever Kardashian tale about airport molestation or mayo story appearing on awesome sites. (Shameless pimpery, I know.)

Here is the mag’s claim…

“’[Taylor is] helping him hunt for a home the couple can share in LA.’ A pal said, ‘Jake is planning for a future with Taylor, so he’d like to buy a house that suites her tastes as well as his… He’s pretty sure that she’s the one.’”

Too bad another source close the Gyllenhaal camp is dying the entire story and calling it “BS.”

OK Mag’s Kendra’s Lost Baby Story

About that…as a way to lure you into spending your hard earned cash on tabloid rags, OK! is stretching the truth into a misleading title. (Ok, I do it too, but at least I don’t charge you. Ima free bitch baby.) They also added a pic of Kendra crying as she tried to carry her infant son through a sea of paparazzi after the Super Bowl.

The rag is pimping a story about Kendra Wilkinson Baskett losing her baby. Before you start searching every KFC in the tri-state area for little Hank Jr. or hunt down sympathy cards…remember that Hank and Kendra’s kid is living with Hank Baskett in Minneapolis.

“Kendra has been forced to make the biggest sacrifice a mother can make in sending her infant son to live with his father. ‘Life has changed now,’ Kendra tells OK! exclusively. ‘It gets so lonely.’”

Basically, the former Playboy playmate sent her son to have some time with his father while he is working with the Minneapolis Vikings. She is kicking it in California and baby will be back with Kendra after some much needed father and son time.
