Nikki Sixx and Denise Richards Dating

Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx, most recently linked to the ever-so-classy Kat Von D, is now dating another super sexy star, who happens to be his neighbor – Denise Richards, who’s known to have a thing for the bad-boys!

Per Rolling Stone:

Richards and Sixx, 52, “have been neighbors for years. They have a lot in common and are taking things slowly,” a source close to the pair tells the new Us Weekly.

This past Saturday was Nikki’s birthday. And on Friday night he Tweeted that he had a ‘midnight rendezvous planned with a beautiful maiden.’ The two were also reportedly spotted having breakfast together the morning after at Marmalade Cafe in Calabasas, California.

Ick. The free clinics are now on high alert.

Mariah Carey Confirms TWINS!

Mimi’s piece publicly confirmed it. Mariah Carey is having twins. Looks like we need another name for the sparklebeat’s offspring. Princess Razzmatazz StepOuttaMahSpotlightAndAwayFromMahSnacks Von Glitterhausen is going to have a brother or sister.

Nick Cannon has been enjoying his time off the leash to finally be the one in the spotlight and telling anyone with a microphone or a clip board that Mariah is pregnant with twins. He basically told E! news that Mariah once referred to her baby bump as “they” instead of “he” or “she.”

“It’s a touchy issue, because you never want to speak on too much stuff too early, but my wife, at one time, she referred to her stomach as ‘they’ and that probably wasn’t the wrong thing for her to do,” he said. “That’s all I’m gonna say.”

He then confirmed to 92.3 NOW

“In order for my wife and I to have our life and live our life I feel like we need to be up front and share things with you and be real and come from the heart. I haven’t even told my wife I was doing this, so I am probably going to get yelled at for not getting permission.

BUT, I have just have a very interesting story. On Friday you will see my wife perform in front of the President and the first family for Christmas in Washington. She started off, her performance she opened the show with a song that she wrote called ‘One Child,’ which is kinda ironic. The song is called ‘One Child’ and it’s a festive holiday song. She even speaks of how she was inspired by writing the song and being pregnant and it being about a child. As we know Christmas is about the birth of Jesus, one child that changed the world.

So after she sings this song she goes back stage and she has you know she has the opportunity to speak with the President and the First Family. She wanted to talk to, they actually, ironically enough questioned my wife, ‘So what are you having? Are you having twins?” At this point she hasn’t told anybody anything. Because doctors advised we keep it to ourselves until we get further along and stuff. Because of the excitement and the emotion she got overwhelmed and she shared with the President and the First Lady that we are having twins.”

Nick totally screwed Mimi out of a People cover.

‘Nip/Tuck’ Star Dylan Walsh Files For Divorce

2010 seems to be the year of celebrity divorces, and now there’s another one to add into the mix. Dylan Walsh, star of FX’s ‘Nip/Tuck‘, filed for divorce on Friday from Joanna Going, his wife of six years. According to court documents, Walsh cited the age old excuse – irreconcilable differences – as the reason for the split.

Per Examiner:

The 47-year-old actor is requesting joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s 7-year-old daughter, Stella. Walsh also indicated in the documents that he will pay Going, 47, spousal support.

Walsh’s split follows a string of recent Hollywood breakups, including the divorce between Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds, actors Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter, and the split between “High School Musical” stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.

Is there something in the water in Hollywood? Isn’t marriage sacred anymore?

Eminem Lands New Movie Role

It’s been about 8 years now since Eminem impressed people with his role in ‘8 Mile.’ Now he’s signed up to do another movie – ‘Southpaw.’

Per MTV:

“I took meetings with Marshall’s producing partners over the past seven years, looking for something to do together,” said screenwriter Kurt Sutter. “I know he’s very selective and doesn’t do a lot. But he shared so much of his personal struggle in this raw and very honest album, one that I connected with on a lot of levels. He is very interested in the boxing genre, and it seemed like an apt metaphor, because his own life has been a brawl.”

‘Southpaw’ will be a boxing flick meant to mirror his real life struggles. He will play a fast-rising, left-handed welterweight whose career suffers when tragedy strikes. The film will reportedly follow his fight to reclaim glory and win back his young daughter. No release date has been scheduled yet.

Sounds interesting to me. Thoughts?

Bobby Long Limited Edition EP ‘Stranger Songs’ Vinyl GIVEAWAY!!

British singer-songwriter-guitarist Bobby Long has signed a recording agreement with New York-based independent label ATO Records. Long’s debut is set for release on February 1, 2011. The album, entitled A WINTER TALE, is a collection of 11 original songs from a repertoire deeply rooted in American folk, blues and country music. The recording is produced by Liam Watson, Grammy® winner for his engineering work on Elephant by The White Stripes, at his analog Toe Rag Studios in London.

Since he began performing in North America in April of 2009, Long has logged more than 150 shows (including sold-out appearances in major U.S. cities, Canada and Europe), winning over audiences with his gritty, passionate performances. His haunting vocals, intricately woven lyrics and intriguing guitar work, not to mention his charming tall tales, have helped to cultivate a devoted fan base that has filled rooms night after night. This year’s tour schedule has also included several high-profile festival appearances, among them the Mile High Festival in Denver and the XPoNential Festival sponsored by Philadelphia’s WXPN Radio, an early champion of Long’s moving, personal songs. As one critic wrote on blogcritics.com: “With raw vocal power and smart, evocative lyrics, Long is a folksinger with a spirited intensity that puts him outside and above the masses of singer-songwriters roaming our cities, towns, and social networks.”

The selection of songs on A WINTER TALE poignantly touch on a variety of themes, some of them dark, sung with Long’s deep signature rasp. His distinct finger-picking style on guitar is also prominently in evidence while he is backed by an eclectic complement of studio musicians on standup bass, pedal-steel guitar, vibraphones, drums, piano and keyboards.

Included on the CD are several songs that have become associated with him over the endless months of touring, among them the guitar-driven “The Bounty of Mary Jane,” the haunting imagery of “Being a Mockingbird,” the anthemic “Dead and Done” (“I’ve already had the neighbors here, Johnny Cash came ‘round and we split a beer” “) and the defiant “Penance Fire Blues” contrasted with the spare, plaintive “Who Have You Been Loving,” which was embraced in its simplest acoustic form—lifted from the self-released homemade recording, DIRTY POND SONGS, that was only available at his shows.

Other songs on the record include “In the Frost,” which paints word pictures of scenes from Long’s native England, and “A Passing Tale” and “Sick Man Blues,” which are throwbacks to the traditional folk era of the 1960’s. “A Stranger Song,” the closer, brings to mind the wordplay of one of Long’s major influences: Leonard Cohen. “Two Years Old,” a finely crafted story song about the ravages of war, conjures images reminiscent of the battle scenes in the film Atonement, and the title cut, “A Winter Tale,” is a driving, memorable opus that demands repeat plays.

Long, who moved to London from Wiltshire in the southwest of England to attend college, became part of the burgeoning open mic circuit to expose his music. He met actor and fellow musician Robert Pattinson, who would go on to sing “Let Me Sign” (co-written by Long and friend Marcus Foster) over a crucial dramatic scene in the blockbuster film “Twilight.” The inclusion of the song in the film’s soundtrack gave Long a head start on a legion of fans. Although A WINTER TALE is the 24-year-old’s first foray into the formal recording process, “Left to Lie,” his first single from the DIRTY POND SONGS collection, reached #1 on the iTunes “Unsigned” chart and #8 on the Folk chart. Pollstar wrote: “Long’s emergence as an up-and-coming artist is the stuff Hollywood loves to make movies about. He continues to amaze audiences with a bare-bones sound reminiscent of early Bob Dylan.”

Long is currently on a short string of dates in Europe before hitting the road in the U.S. in earnest with his band this fall. A limited edition 10” vinyl EP containing songs from forthcoming record (including two bonus tracks) will become available at that time to build further anticipation for the release of the album and to coincide with his fall tour schedule.

Usher Gets Kicked In The Face – Video

Now THIS is funny! During the middle of Usher’s performance in New York on Monday night he laid down on a couch with a female fan (who was freaking out!). She tried to re-position herself and when she did she whipped her 6 inch heel right into Usher’s face!

Per CBS:

The fan tried to smooth things over by massaging Usher’s face, but there was no need: he wasn’t hurt and even cracked a joke about it.

The whole performance ended with the singer and the fan in relatively good terms. They hugged and that was the end of that.

Heidi Jones, New York City Weather Reporter, Lies About Being Raped

Seriously kittens, I couldn’t make this one up.

Apparently not happy with the amount of air time she was receiving doing the evening weekend weather report for New York City’s WABC, meterorologist Heidi Jones took it upon herself to fabricate a story that she was raped in New York’s Central Park back in September.

Accoring to the New York Post, Jones told police that she was jogging through the city’s park on the afternoon of September 24, when a Hispanic man in his 30′s or 40′s grabbed her from behind, dragged her to a wooded area and attempted to rape her. Her story then claimed the would-be rapist ran off after two passers-by heard Jones struggling and found her.

However, cops weren’t quick to buy the story.

The first clue was that she waited until Nov. 24, two months later, to report the alleged attack, the sources said.

At the time, the sources said, she told police that three days earlier, on Nov. 21, the same man somehow found her again and harassed her, saying, “I know you went to the police.”

When searches turned up nothing, the police questioned Jones again. Only this time, her stories didn’t match.

When confronted, she admitted she made the whole story up.

Heidi Jones has been indefinitely suspended from WABC New York and she has been charged with filing a false report which could land her in jail and give her up to a $1,000 fine.

Jessica Simpson’s Prenup Nightmare

Jessica Simpson may be in love and junk, but her father, Joe Simpson is trying his best to have the final say on her pending nuptials between her and her former NFL player beau, Eric Johnson.

According to the National Enquirer (so, try not to take it too seriously kittens), Johnson and the elder Simpson are not seeing eye-to-eye when it comes to the dreaded prenuptial agreement.

“Jess thinks a prenuptial agreement is unromantic and a bad omen. She doesn’t want to make Eric sign one – but her dad IS adamant. Her father won’t back down. To make matters worse, Eric’s ego is bruised because he feels like Jessica’s family sees him as a user.”

Many sources claim that Johnson, who is technically unemployed, made Simpson pay for her own engagement ring.

Believe it or not, thanks to her lucrative clothing empire, Jessica Simpson’s net worth is nearing the $1 billion mark. It appears Papa Joe is trying his best to protect his meal ticket investment daughter’s best interest.

Time Magazine Person of the Year Is Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg! The creator of Facebook was named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year.

Wait…is this 2008? Did I time warp? Anyhoo, Mark was crowned the mag’s person of the year despite many rants that Wikileaks founder Julian Assange should be given the honor. Commenters over at Time’s site have a case of the angries and hitting Ctrl+ALT+CANCELSUBSCRIPTION.

Did I miss something? Does the award come with a year supply of Crispix, an evening alone on a remote island with Bear Grylls or the 34th Street Large Treesh handbag in red from Kate Spade? (All on my Christmas list in case you need gift ideas.) If not, then really I doubt it will make that much of an impact on society.
