It looks like stupidity runs in the family – Oh, how proud Mama Favre must be. It’s bad enough son Brett Favre is dealing with the aftermath of the accusations of being a harassing pervert, but now his sister Brandi Favre has been arrested in a meth bust on Wednesday. Brandi was apparently part of a ring that was cooking up meth in a makeshift lab at a home in Mississippi when cops swarmed in for the bust. She was charged with manufacturing meth, possession of a controlled substance, transferring a controlled substance and generation of hazardous waste. Her bond has been set at $40,000.

Brandi Favre was in the courtroom less than 10 minutes Thursday, according to MSNBC. Hancock County Justice Court Judge Tom Carver Jr. set the bond on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine and generating hazardous waste.
If convicted, she faces up to $1 million in fines and up to 30 years in prison on each count.
Brandi was among five people arrested. Undercover agents bought methamphetamines from two of the suspects, which led to the raid at the condo. Agents found meth cooking in the bathtub, made the arrests, then took the suspects to the “Hancock County Barn” for decontamination. Brandi reportedly has a history of trouble with the law, including prior charges for shoplifting and unlawful use of a weapon.
Just to be clear, this is no reflection on Brett whatsoever. A lot of people out there know what it’s like to have a family member who can’t or won’t be helped. Best of luck to members of the Favre family. I hope something goes right for them soon.
