Woman Gets CRAZY ‘Twilight’ Back Tattoo – Pics

An obsessed ‘Twilight‘ fan in England spent 22 hours under the needle getting a GIANT tribute to the film tattooed on her back featuring what appears to be not one, not two, but three different versions of Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen, two versions of Kristen Stewart’s Bella Swan, and only one image of Taylor Lautner’s Jacob Black! 49-year-old Cathy Ward got the tattoo because she “wanted a permanent reminder of the amazing series.” She also plans to get her arms done before her 50th birthday this summer. Ward used Stephenie Meyer’s books and the movies as a reward system for losing weight. After she dropped 14 dress sizes in six months, she rewarded herself with the art.

Per Daily Mail:

She plans to save £2,000 more to spend another 12 hours under the needle as she eclipses her whole torso with the gothic tribute.

‘I love Robert Pattinson. I want to tone up so I can get his character Edward Cullen on my stomach. The way I look at it I could be spending the money on going out drinking and eating but instead I’m spending it on something I am really passionate about.’

As big of a ‘Twilight’ fan as I am, I can’t say that I would want a huge back tattoo like this, but it is well done. Kudos to woman for her new life post weight-loss!

Maroon 5 front-man wants you to remember having your prostate and testicular checked is very important. So Adam Levine is nude in the February issue of Cosmo. Last I checked Cosmo was a ladies magazine, ladies don’t have testicles and I am not sure how a naked man is supposed to appeal to other men, but I am not going to question the fact that Adam Levine is naked. (Gift horse and all that jazz. Hey…it’s a welcomed change from seeing Miley Cyrus’ crotch popping on a daily basis.)

People’s Choice Awards Winners 2011 – PHOTOS

Last night Queen Latifah was in charge of the celebrity back patting known as the People’s Choice Awards. Of course Twilight won most of the awards at that mess. Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson all attended the show and sat in the front row so that Latifah could verbally accost them in an awkward moment that went on too long. (See video below)

As for the fashion…this event is pretty much a minor step up from the MTV Movie Awards when it comes to the red carpet. Pink tones were a favorite along with glittery and eye catching metallics. Natalie Portman, who recently announced she is pregnant and engaged (click HERE for more details on that…) showed up in a blue frilly sack. I get that glam and maternity don’t usually go hand in hand but this was incredibly boring.

Robert Pattinson Scores Colin Farrell’s ‘Cosmopolis’ Role

While his “Twilight Saga” cast-mates are busy staging paparazzi photos (yea, I am talking to you Kellen Lutz!), Robert Pattinson is busy booking more acting jobs.

Aside from his roles in the upcoming ‘Water for Elephants’ and ‘Bel Ami,’ Pattinson is now slated to take on the lead role of Eric Packer in the film adaptation of Don DeLillo’s novel, ‘Cosmopolis.’

Via Deadline:

“[Pattinson]will play Eric Packer. A financial wunderkind, Packer risks his entire fortune to bet against the yen on a tumultuous day. His deed puts him in the crosshairs for assassination in a drama that is a study of capitalism in a slightly futuristic metropolis. Most of the scenes in the book take place in the limousine that transports Packer from place to place. Marion Cotillard and Paul Giamatti are also reportedly doing the film, but those same reports had Colin Farrell poised to take the lead role.”

Unlike other young actors who seem to take any role offered to them (now I am still talking to you Kellen Lutz!), Pattinson has been quite selective with his roles, choosing to star alongside Oscar winners such as Reese Witherspoon, Christoph Waltz, and now Marion Cotillard.

Josh Groban Sings Best Of Kanye West Tweets – Video

We all are captivated by what Kanye West has to say on Twitter! Right?! Well trust me – his tweets are much more entertaining when put to the music of Josh Groban who teamed up with Jimmy Kimmel last night for a fantastic comedy bit. Kimmel introduced a commercial for a “new album” that Groban was promoting, and said advertisement revealed that Groban had created an entire album of Kanye’s greatest tweets set to music.

This is hilarious! Can I have this CD, please? Now I want to follow Kanye on Twitter!

Meg Ryan Dating John Mellencamp

Is Meg Ryan a cougar? No, she’s just dating one – as in John ‘Cougar’ Mellencamp. Movie star and a rockstar hook-up? Yes, except he isn’t divorced… yet. He is separated though from wife Elaine Irwin (who announced their separation just last week) and she is single, so why not?

Per PopEater:

“Meg has liked John for a long time, and they are very comfortable together,” a friend of the ‘You’ve Got Mail‘ star tells me. “They already looked like an old married couple when they strolled through [New York's] West Village or spent time on Martha’s Vineyard.”

Reactions to the new couple have been varied, but most agree the timing is a bit eyebrow-raising. So soon, guys? That said, my source hints that things are way more serious than you’d think.

“They don’t care what people say,” the friend says. “They are in love.”

Well, I guess now we all know why Mellencamp and his wife are divorcing. The sanctity of marriage certainly isn’t what it used to be.

Big ‘American Idol’ Changes Leaked!

As the debut of this years’ ‘American Idol‘ approaches (January 19th for those of you living under a rock), massive changes to the original format have been revealed! These changes are actually good news, though!

Per The Hollywood Reporter:

UPDATED SET: The set is undergoing substantial modification.

FASTER ELIMINATION: The elimination process is speeding up considerably. Instead of a three-week top 24 round in which America votes, the judges will narrow down the field to 10 or 12 finalists.

ONLINE VOTING: Despite persistent rumors that would lead us to believe otherwise, there will be no online voting.

NEW LIVING ARRANGEMENT: Finalists will all live in an Idol mansion. The show will have a “Big Brother” aspect to it.

ORIGINAL SONGS: Producer-songwriters will help them with song selection, then arrange and produce the musical accompaniment — for the first time ever, contestants won’t be limited solely to cover songs.

THEME WEEK MAKEOVERS: Theme weeks will also get a makeover. “We’re not going to ask a country singer to sing an R&B song, or an R&B singer to do Led Zeppelin,” Jimmy Iovine explains. “If the theme is ’80s or Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, every song will be customized to that contestant.” What’s most important, he adds, is that the song suit the finalist’s voice.

Also, the Idol contestants will not be making music videos (except for maybe those awful Ford ones,) and there will be no appearance by “American Idol all-stars.” Ray Chew, formerly of the “Saturday Night Live” band, will also become the new music director. Also new: there will also be no gender parity.

Explains exec producer Ken Warwick: “If I’ve got six fantastic boys and four average girls, I’m certainly not going to throw out a fantastic boy to put in another average girl, or vice versa.”

And there’s great news for the show’s fans: No more months-long wait for music from their favorite singers – songs will be released as the season progresses. While many ideas were tossed up against the wall, one that was considered and abandoned was having past winners face off against former finalists who may have deserved another chance, such as Fantasia taking on Jennifer Hudson or David Cook taking on Adam Lambert. The idea didn’t get very far since few past winners and finalists were keen on it.

Hurley’s ‘Lost’ Numbers Win Money For Lotto Players!

If you played the six number sequence that appeared throughout the entire run of ‘Lost,’ you won a nice pile of cash last night!

“Tuesday night’s massive Mega Millions drawing had many ‘Lost’ fans scratching their heads, as four of the six winning numbers were identical to the infamous set of digits from the hit ABC show. The ‘Lost’ numbers were 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42. The Mega Millions winning combo was 4, 8, 15, 25, 47, 42.”
