Britney Spears has tweeted about her working hard on her new video for “Hold It Against Me”. It’s still in production, but she is now being accused of faking the video by using a body double for the big dance scenes. TMZ reported that the director Jonas Akerlund got so frustrated with Spears for not practicing enough that he pulled her from the big dance scenes and used a back-up dancer in her place. Sources say things got “heated” and Spears had a mini-breakdown over being pulled out of the video. Supposedly her and Akerland are on some rough terms. Of course, the Spears Camp was quick to shoot down the rumors.
“The accusations could not be further from the truth. Britney worked extremely hard on this video and rehearsed for six weeks prior to shooting.” The rep adds … Brit and Jonas got along great, and “Fans will immediately see how inaccurate these claims are once they see the video.”
Guess we’ll have to watch the video to try and figure it out. She doesn’t really sing either so it makes perfect sense that she wouldn’t dance. Britney’s new album comes out later this year and she just announced the title for the album will be ‘Femme Fatale.’ Check out the artwork here!

UPDATE: Her manager issued this statement regarding the body double…
“Of course, there was a body double in there that she was fighting most of the time, which is where some confusion came in.”

Of course they used a body double. Lazy Britney would rather eat frapps and potato chips than maintain a healthy dancer’s body. Despite all the claims that she’s been in training for the last 6 months she is still flabby and out of shape and does not have the muscle tone one would gain from such intense exercise. This is all hype because on her last tour the one thinbg she could not do is dance, so they designed choreography that would be harder than hell only to realize that their girl isn’t up for it.
And interesting enough, the morning after her fans pitched bloody hell for th elack of promotion of this unfinished album that Britney declared finished weeks ago, Britney went to the gym in a very bad mood. Perhaps the visit was to reshoot the video since she had been outed and to save face. So if the video turns out to be all Britney, then just remember that it does not make this report false. Also, a video can be shot in segments so until little Miss is capable of dancing in public—-which right now they have no plans of doing—then anything she seems to do in a video is highly suspect as there is no way she could dance an entire song much less concert in the flesh.

I like her, but am not a crazed, delusional idiot fan. As a song writer with production and mixing skills, I’ve heard a bunch of her CD’s and know she sings on her album, obviously, lol. At the same time, I know that a lot of farticles will attempt to get views by making up lies about her, including this one that claims she doesn’t even sing on her own albums. That’s just plain stupid. In the year where they claimed she had a fender bender, two more idiot writers couldn’t resist and made up B.S. stories, and within 3 weeks there were 3 fake Britney stories each claiming she had 3 entirely different car crashes. And yes, all to get view. But good job discrediting your little story OP. Now there’s no way of telling what is real and what is made up. Might as well assume it’s a bogus story..
Ok, I get why you moderate. So you can say she doesn’t sing, but then when someone says you are B.Sing, you just don’t approve the comments. whatever… But I have a new idea for you. Instead of waiting for comments that fit what you want to say, why not just make accounts on your own blog and write your own comments in? It’s about the same thing.

And if it turns out to be ALL Britney, it also doesn’t make it proof that it’s 100% true report either!! I mean, I read things about 4 or 5 popular stars now and then for fun. And every day, I catch the writers in lies. Or find out people are actually profiting from making up stories. Or if they are very well written stories, I then come across a 2nd story that says she was in another place doing something else at the SAME time! So I then figure out one has to be a lie. This especially happens with Britney, and it used to happen with Michael Jackson, all the time. Always 5 or 6 stories that would contradict each other. Again, I’m not major fan, defending her for the sake of that, but it makes it really hard to read up on someone when you never know which story is real. I mean that’s a fair statement isn’t it?
@OP, about her singing. This is the real truth. She DOES sing, and she is capable of being a good singer. However, she’s had points where she’s slacked off, and sounded terrible live in different years. I’ve heard it my self. Other times she’s done better, and I’ve heard proof (because I went looking) of her singing live that was excellent. But the tracks she’s layed down in the past that have almost no electronic effects on them, were good, and emotional on slow songs. Of course she has others where it’s covered up with effects. The point is, she has a certain way and style of singing that is unique. In the music world, there are tons of copy cats, and unoriginal singers. She has her own unique sound, and THAT is why she sold 100 million records. I’m guessing she’s not a consistently perfect singer and has issues from time to time. But that’s true of a lot of singers when they go live. And the point is, her voice is on the album. When she has time to practice and redo, redo etc, it can be very good. You can’t auto tune everything and fix everything. I used to work in a studio, and know that you can’t take someone that totally can’t sing and make them sound like say Britney. At best you could maybe make them rap.
