It was a rather simple mistake and at least this trick was singing live and didn’t let her boob flop out after she was done. However, Page Six reports that Christina Aguilera’s staff is ready to organize an intervention have surfaced in addition to recent drunken antics.
“They wanted to talk to her carefully about the issue, but they’re not going to because they are scared after she threatened to fire them,” a source close to Aguilera’s camp told us. “Her people desperately want this to come out so she will get help.”
It’s not completely out of character for Aguilera to pull a Donald Trump and fire bitches that anger her. The NY Post also mentions the time she axed some of her staff.
“After giving birth to her son, Max, in 2008, she reportedly threw a tantrum and fired her day-to-day manager, one of her assistants and her publicity firm BWR because she was displeased with a photo spread of her baby that ran in People magazine.”
Since she screwed the lyrics to the Star Spangled Banner at the Super Bowl (click HERE for the video of that…) Christina issued a statement saying she was just full of patriotic spirit and became overwhelmed with emotion.
“I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place. I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through.”
Some are leaning towards her new found love of booze and not the love of her country that led her to mess up the lyrics. Aside from showing up to Renner’s birthday party uninvited, her growing “problem with alcohol” is also said to be the reason she attacked Julianne Hough at the Golden Globes. I say… meh. Snooki-drunk or totally sober she just tripped over the words. It’s not like started singing about vodka bombs bursting in the air and started crying about ‘Burlesque’ while asking the crowd if they thought she was pretty.
