Lady Gaga sat down with Anderson Cooper on last nights’ ‘60 Minutes‘ and expresses her concerns about fame and the longevity of her career, saying that she believes the public ultimately wants to see her fail and that we want her to lose all she’s gained. In the interview, Gaga explained that she’s really attentive to “how to maintain a certain privacy, without feeling like you’re withholding anything from your fans. My philosophy is that if I am open with them about everything, and yet I art direct every moment of my life, I can maintain a sort of privacy, in a way, a sort of soulfulness I have yet to give.”
One juicy tidbit came when Lady Gaga said while she gave up cocaine, she admits to still smoking pot and drinking whiskey when she writes music. Hey, at least she’s honest.
