Rihanna Agrees To Reduce Restraining Order On Chris Brown

It’s been 2 years almost exactly since Rihanna and Chris Brown had their widely publicized abusive fight that kept them both from attending the Gammy Awards. Now Rihanna is ready to put the restraining order against her ex to rest. Rihanna’s lawyers said that she has moved on from the incident where Brown attacked her during a fight and that she has granted Brown’s request, asking the courts to reduce the restraining order to a level one.

Per Huffington Post:

Rihanna has requested that the restraining order be dropped to a level one, which would allow Brown to be in contact with her so long as he does not annoy, molest or harass her. Ostensibly, this was done so that they can both attend award shows, though Brown won’t be attending the Grammys despite his nominations.

Brown still has to complete 1,400 hours of community labor and he’s still on probation for his attack on Rihanna, In court last month for a progress report, a Los Angeles judge announced that the singer had finished a year-long domestic violence class. As for Rihanna, she’s still urging her fans to move past the abuse and concentrate on her music instead. In response to an upset Twitter follower who criticized her Thursday for easing up on the restraining order, Rihanna twittered:

“I would’ve sworn he beat YOUR a**, just by how upset you are! My fans don’t care about a restraining order and neither do I! My bad!”

I doubt this means there will be any sort of a reunion for the once-couple, but I really hope this doesn’t come back to bite her later on…

New Music Friday – Sum 41

After spending nearly all of last year on the road, including their 4th headlining run on the 2010 Vans Warped Tour – RIAA platinum Island Records group SUM 41 has completed the most long-awaited new studio album of their career. ‘Screaming Bloody Murder,’ arriving March 29th jumps out with the title tune single, “Screaming Bloody Murder,” impacting now at Alternative Rock radio formats.

Screaming Bloody Murder, which opens up a second decade for Sum 41 on Island Records, marks the first album to be fully self-produced Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley. The two-time JUNO Award-winning Canadian band is: Deryck Whibley (lead vocals, guitar, keyboard/piano), Tom Thacker (lead guitar, vocals), Cone McCaslin (bass, vocals), and Steve Jocz (drums, vocals).

Screaming Bloody Murder follows-up ‘Underclass Hero,’ released July 2007. In the interim, Sum 41 issued their first career-spanning collection, ‘All the Good Sh*t: 14 Solid Gold Hits 2000-2008.’ It compiled singles from their debut mini-album ‘Half Hour Of Power‘ (2000), and all four of their full-length studio albums: ‘All Killer No Filler‘ (2001), ‘Does This Look Infected?‘ (2002), ‘Chuck‘ (2004), and Underclass Hero (2007). Also featured on All the Good Sh*t is one previously unreleased track (“Always”), and live performances of two favorites, “The Hell Song” and “Motivation,” both also included in studio versions.

Prior to All the Good Sh*t, Sum 41’s most recent studio album Underclass Hero debuted at #1 (and earned instant gold certification) in Canada and Japan – where it ousted fellow Island band Bon Jovi’s album ‘Lost Highway’ from the top in Japan after a one month stand at #1. In an unprecedented move to launch Underclass Hero, the band performed the album live in its entirety on their website, www.sum41.com. Underclass Hero was produced (for the first time) by the band’s own Deryck Whibley, who had also written and produced tracks for Avril Lavigne’s album, ‘The Best Damn Thing.’

Underclass Hero followed-up Chuck (October 2004), #10 on the Billboard 200 with over 1 million copies sold worldwide. The album was named for the United Nations worker who daringly rescued Sum 41 from bombs and gunfire during the filming of a documentary in the Congo with nonprofit group War Child Canada. Chuck spun off three consecutive Top 20 Modern Rock chart singles: “We’re All To Blame,” “Pieces,” and “No Reason.”

Lindsay Lohan’s Outfit Causes Courtroom Controversy

She may have been told not to push her luck by the judge, but everyone tonight isn’t talking about the courtroom drama surrounding Lindsay Lohan. Rather, they’re talking about what was barely surrounding her ass-her choice of outfit!

Lohan showed up to court today in a pure white Kimberly Ovitz frock, with a hem-line located just below her fire crotch.

Lindsay Lohan wanted to make a statement during her arraignment today — a fashion statement — and consciously chose her solid WHITE dress to symbolize her innocence .

I hear ya, Lindsay. I went through all kinds of white underwear each time I lost my virginity.

‘X-Men: First Class’ Official Trailer- SEE IT HERE

Fanboys everywhere are wetting their shorts tonight to get a peek at the first official trailer for ‘X-Men: First Class.’

Look, I don’t know anything about any X Men except that I don’t see a uber buff, nearly nude Hugh Jackman anywhere in this trailer, so I am not so sure I am interested.

However, if this is your cup of tea, then you probably already know that ‘First Class’ is the prequel to the existing X-Men films and focuses on how the comic’s main characters, Professor X and Magneto, start as friends only to become the deepest of enemies.

The last half of the 1:51 spot kicks up the action, with shots of fighter jets (Beast in the cockpit!), missiles launching, young mutants learning how to use their powers to fight and Lehnsherr taking hold of the famous helmet and stepping into the black-and-red suit of Magneto, followed by stern words from Xavier.

“Listen to me very carefully, my friend,” Xavier says to Lehnsherr/Magneto. “Killing will not bring you peace.”

“Peace was never an option,” he responds, which is followed by quick teases of some of the big action scenes, including one where Lehnsherr is pulling a submarine out of the water and into the air.

The movie stars James McAvoy, January Jones, Zoe Kravitz, and Jennifer Lawrence.

Lady Gaga In ‘Vogue’ – PICS

Think Lady Gaga is a great vocalist? Yeah, well so does she! While being featured in the March issue of ‘Vogue‘ (the cover of which she tweeted earlier this week), Gaga gushed about her talents, and her conviction that her new album will single-handedly change the music world. She is clearly her own biggest fan!

Per Vogue:

“Speaking purely from a musical standpoint, I think I am a great performer. I am a talented entertainer. I consider myself to have one of the greatest voices in the industry. I consider myself to be one of the greatest songwriters. I wouldn’t say that I am one of the greatest dancers, but I am really quite good at what I do.”

She may brag about her skills, but she just looks at is as being secure with who she is.

“I think it’s OK to be confident in yourself. I have the world at my fingertips. I am not going to saunter around the stage doing pelvic thrusts and lip-synching. That’s not at all why I am in this.”

And according to Lady Gag, it is her job to help you explore your identity.

“I am the jester to the kingdom. I am the route out. I am the excuse to explore your identity. To be exactly who you are and to feel unafraid. To not judge yourself, to not hate yourself. Because, as funny as it is that I am on the cover of Vogue—and no one is laughing harder than I am—I was the girl in school who was most likely to walk down the hallway and get called a slut or a bit*h or ugly or big nose or nerd or dyke. ‘Why are you in the chorus?’”

On the cover of the magazine, Lady Gaga wears a baby pink bobbed wig, purple lipstick, and has bleached eyebrows. While her devoted ‘monster’s are sure to gush about it, I kind of don’t like it. She looks like an alien. Although, it is nice to see her wearing actual clothes…

Rihanna’s New Boyfriend ?!?

A couple of months after her breakup with L.A. Dodger Matt Kemp, looks like Rihanna has moved on. According to Mediatakeout, Rihanna has a new man in her life – Blink 182′s drummer Travis Barker.

According to our insiders, R&B singer Rihanna has begun dating rock drummer Travis Barker. And it gets even better. The new relationship between the two will be more than just PERSONAL. The two are doing a photo shoot together. And Rih will be in his new video, Can A Drummer Get Some, which films in LA next week.

Apparently the two have been friends for a long time and even went on a few dates a couple of years ago and now things are reportedly heating up again!

I’m sorry, but I had to chuckle on this one. Quite the odd couple, but whatever float their boats. With that being said, I’ll wait until they’re photographed out together playing tonsil-hockey before I believe this one.

Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn DATING

Us is reporting that Penn is wooing Scarlett Johansson. Their “fling” has been going on since January and started at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont. (All the fun stuff happens there.)

“Their first hook-up was in Scarlett’s Bungalow. Scarlett first reached out to Sean when she was planning to visit Haiti with Oxfam,” says the source. “She knew Sean was living there in a tent and turned to him for advice. Scarlett’s smitten with him.”

Really? Talk of natural disasters and tragedy isn’t exactly the sexiest conversation. Penn does love to stand on his soap box so maybe Scarjo likes his mustache rides. A rep said that Sean hasn’t gone near her client’s lady bits and the rumors are not true.

Lindsay Lohan Arraigned in Court, Told “Don’t Push Your Luck” by Judge

After a small delay while lawyer Shawn Chapman-Holley and prosecutor Deputy District Attorney Danette Myers met in Judge Schwartz’s chambers, Lindsay Lohan has been officially charged with felony grand theft for stealing a $2,500 necklace. The felony complaint alleges that Lohan “did unlawfully take money and personal property.” Lohan plead not guilty and waived her right to a preliminary hearing in 10 days – instead, all parties will be back on Feb 23rd “to attempt to resolve the case.” If ultimately convicted, she could face a maximum sentence of three years in prison.

Per TMZ:

Lindsay Lohan was just remanded into custody — following a STRONG warning from Judge Keith Schwartz — “You’re no different than anyone else … please don’t push your luck.” Judge Schwartz set her bail at $20,000 — but warned, “If you violate the law, I will remand you and there will be NO BAIL.”

Myers asked the judge to revoke Lohan’s current probation, which was granted, and bail was set at $20,000 on that as well. Lohan and her agents were also ordered to have no contact with the jewelry store or the owners after Meyers said someone had sent the store owners flowers which freaked them out. Lohan is currently in custody and being booked.

Katy Perry Talks Babies and Boobs In ‘Elle’ – PICS

Katy Perry graces the cover of the new Elle Magazine with style and grace. Inside the magazine she’s talking about her marriage to Russell Brand and babies saying that she wants to settle down at some point and have a home life.

“I think some people will die on the stage, and I’m not so sure I want to do that. Like, I want to have kids! I’m totally fine with saying that. I think some people are scared because they’re worried it’s going to ruin their career, but I want to live a full life.”

She continued saying that having kids was always part of the plan she had for her life, even when she was broke and having cars possessed. Perry also claims she knew Brand was the right man for her the first time she met him.

“Everything clicked really fast. We kind of instantly got past all the surfacey stuff. And ever since then, there hasn’t been a dull moment.”

Also, Katy reveals how she used to hate her boobs when she was younger but has grown to love them.

“When I was a kid… I had enormous boobs that I didn’t know what to do with. I wore minimisers, which are not cute. Those thick-a** straps! I got made fun of for the over-the-shoulder boulder holder. All I wanted was to look like Kate Moss. Little did I know my breast would come in handy someday.”
