Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson Begin Custody Battle Over Son Bronx

It appears not all splits are amicable!

According to papers filed in LA court today, rocker Pete Wentz does not agree with his soon to be ex-wife’s request that she have primary custody of the two’s son, Bronx.

TMZ reveals that Wentz’s response to Simpson’s initial divorce documents states that he wants joint legal and physical custody of the 2 year-old.

Though Simpson did not list a date as to when the couple split, Wentz lists the end of the marriage as February 9, just days after Wentz returned home from a Simpson-less trip to Dallas to attend the Superbowl.

Alice in Chains Bassist Mike Starr Dies

On the heels of the passing of ‘Last Comic Standing’ finalist Mike DeStefano , it was announced today via TMZ that Mike Starr, former bassist for alternative rock group Alice in Chains, has died. He was 44.

Starr regained notoriety in 2009 when he joined the cast of Celebrity Rehab (read my exclusive interview with Dr. Drew Pinsky HERE). He was arrested last month for possession of a controlled substance.

“Salt Lake City cops say he had 6 Xanax pills and 6 Opana (painkiller) pills when he was busted.”

Our thoughts are with his family.

Lily Allen Talks about Her Miscarriages and Eating Disorder

For the first time, Lily Allen is opening up about her heartache after the tragic loss of her baby last year in a documentary titled “Lily Allen: Riches To Rags.” Lily – who was six months pregnant with boyfriend Sam Cooper’s child – is said to have been rushed to hospital with severe stomach pain. Although every effort was made to save her unborn baby, it was confirmed ‘with great sadness’ that the couple sadly lost the child.’

Per Daily Mail:

The singer, who lost her child six months into her pregnancy, says: ‘It was a really long battle – and I think that kind of thing changes a person.’

Their couple’s first baby died, her second in three years, after Allen contracted a viral infection six months into her pregnancy. (Doctors say technically, because it occurred after the 20th week, Allen’s second loss was a pre-term delivery. Her first miscarriage was at four months in 2008.) The couple was expecting a boy. At the time, friends said the couple was ‘grief-stricken’ by their loss.

During the film, Lily also speaks of her battle with bulimia, and is painfully honest about how she struggled to over come the condition.

‘I used to vomit after meals. It’s not something I’m proud of,’ the singer admits. ‘But, I tell you what, a lot of people came up to me telling me how great I looked and I’d be on the cover of every magazine. I thought I looked good and it was great to be able to try on clothes and feel a million dollars. But I wasn’t happy, I really wasn’t.’

Despite the praise, Allen said she wasn’t happy on the inside and finally realized she was “a pop star, not a model.” The documentary was filmed before Lily suffered the loss of her baby, but the film crew went back to continue filming her story after. The film also follows the opening of her clothing boutique for her fashion line ‘Lucy in Disguise,’ which she created alongside her sister Sarah Owen.

She has really matured into a thoughtful woman. Good for her in speaking out about the pressures to be skinny and eating disorders.

Rob Lowe to Replace Charlie Sheen on ‘Two and a Half Men’ ?!?

The first candidate to replace Charlie Sheen on “Two And A Half Men” is apparently lined up and is also an old friend of the Sheen family. Rob Lowe’s agent has reportedly been talking with producer Chuck Lorre just hours after Warner Brothers fired Sheen from the hit show. But Lowe’s fans shouldn’t get too excited just yet.

Per TMZ:

There are two stumbling blocks for Rob — he currently stars in “Parks and Recreation,” and he grew up with the Sheen family.

Warners and CBS haven’t said if the show will come back without Sheen, but potential legal actions by Sheen’s team could make that hard. Yesterday, Sheen’s lawyers immediately said they would take legal action against ‘Two and a Half Men.’ Sheen allegedly has a “Michael J. Fox” clause in his contract, which allows him to get paid for men for every future episode, even if he is not on the show.

Per TMZ:

When Fox was doing “Spin City,” his contract provided that he would keep getting paid as long as the show was in production, even if he left the show. Ironically, when Charlie took over for Michael, Michael kept drawing his salary. Sources say when Charlie signed on for “Two and a Half Men” … the original contract provided an identical clause, so Charlie’s people believe Warner Bros. is on the hook if they keep producing the show.

Lowe isn’t the only name to be bouncing around as a possible replacement. John Stamos was rumored last week to be in talks to take over, but quickly denied those reports. Sheen didn’t take those rumors too well, saying that Stamos replacing him would be a “tragic joke” and that the creators of the show would “deserve their failures and follies.” Sheen later apologized for those remarks, calling Stamos a “talented man.”

Even if they don’t nab Lowe or Stamos, it looks like Lorre and company are still hard at work trying to find a friendly face to keep the show on the boob tube. Personally, I think they should just let it die. No one can bring Charlie’s brand of crazy to this role. No offense, John Cryer.

Built in 1964, Shea Stadium was the home of the New York Mets for 45 years. Charlie Sheen Fired: Plays with Machete, Drinks Tiger Blood – PHOTOS

Here is the nuttery of the day brought to you by The Sheen Machine.

Charlie Sheen was officially fired from ‘Two and a Half Men.’ (Click HERE for the first announcement…) Warner Brothers sent him and his legal team an 11 page letter explaining that he is “dangerously self destructive” and committed “a felony offense involving moral turpitude.”

Via TMZ:

“There is ample evidence supporting Warner Bros. reasonable good faith opinion that Mr. Sheen has committed felony offenses involving moral turpitude (including but not limited to furnishing of cocaine to others as part of the self-destructive lifestyle he has described publicly) that have ‘interfere[d] with his ability to fully and completely render all material services required’ under the agreement.”

No longer the highest paid tv actor, Charlie decided to take his Epic Gnarly Warlock of Winning self to the roof of Live Nation building in Beverly Hills. Sheen waved around a machete while drinking a bottle of fake “Tiger Blood.” A real energy Tiger Blood energy drink has actually been created. It was made in honor (read ‘in honor’ as ‘in mockery’) of Charlie’s Adonis DNA. It reportedly tastes like fruit punch and contains 80 mg of caffeine.

As for his reaction to being fired….Charlie merely chanted, “Free at last! Free at last!” He also stated that he would be suing WB and the show creator Chuck Lorre.

Emma Watson Takes Time Off Brown for Harry Potter

Emma Watson announced via her website that she is taking time off from school. This hardly comes as a surprise as she has taken on an astounding amount of work.

Aside from her growing acting career, fashion has been knocking down her door. Watson fronted a Burberry campaign, was the cover girl for mags like Vogue, Vanity Fair, Style and Elle. Aside from her face being on the cover of the top fashion mags, she also helped People Tree with a youth line to appeal to the younger crowd. On top of her efforts with the brand, she also collaborated with Alberta Ferretti on a collection due this Spring called Pure Threads.

Top it off with filming the final Harry Potter films and taking on two additional films (‘My Week With Marilyn’ and ‘Perks of Being a Wallflower’), it’s amazing that she ever has time to sleep. So, in order to fulfill her work obligations she is taking time off from school on a temporary basis.

Hi everyone

As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything but recently I’ve had so much to juggle that being a student AND fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible.

I’ve decided to take a bit of time off to completely finish my work on Harry Potter (the last one comes out this summer) and to focus on my other professional and acting projects. I will still be working towards my degree… it’s just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought : )

The demand for her time with the release of the final installment of the Harry Potter series will be intense. Plans for the press circus that will soon begin for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2‘ is rumored to be huge. The premiere is will take place in London’s Trafalgar Square on July 7 and is billed as being the “most spectacular” opening yet.

Britney Spears Sued for Nude PHOTOS

Fernando Flores swears on Brit-Brit’s checkbook that he has nude photos of Britney Spears. Flores is the former bodyguard who is suing the ‘Till the World Ends’ songstress for sexual harassment and broke the news of the suit last summer. (Click HERE for a refresher on that story including his claims of child abuse…)

A “friend” of Fernando has come forward to say that he has seen the nude pics of Spears reportedly sent to him on his cell phone. Of course the source-type squealed about how dirty the photos supposedly are.

Via The Sun:

“They are really explicit images that will shock and disgust the majority of her fans. Fernando says he can prove the photos were taken on Britney’s phone and sent to his mobile. He says she sent them last April when she was coming on to him on a daily basis. He left the following month.

Some of the pictures show Britney with the camera between her legs. Others show her in provocative positions wearing lingerie. There are a few where she is naked, exposing herself in a way that she clearly hoped would make him aroused.”

If the pictures do exist it’s probably nothing we haven’t seen before. She managed to flash her crotch to the entire crowd at her show in Tampa. (Click HERE for the video and pics of the infamous Mah P***y is Hanging Out Incident…) Brit has also managed to flash it around town like it was a 15 karat diamond ring. Besides, if she was trying to seduce him into her bed all she’d have to do is flash him a copy of a recent bank statement.

Hollywood Dame Exclusive Interview – Sum 41

Sum 41 has released a viral video for the title track of their new album “Screaming Bloody Murder” releasing March 29th. An official video for the track will premiere in the coming weeks. The band spent nearly all of 2010 on the road, including their 4th headlining run on the 2010 Van’s Warped Tour. The video follows the band around with footage from their massive live performances to goofing around backstage and their bus.

Alternative Press has an exclusive stream of a new Sum 41 track, titled “Blood In My Eyes,” from the band’s upcoming new album. The track is the second song that has been released off the album, following the band’s title track, “Screaming Bloody Murder.” “Blood In My Eyes” will also be available for instant download to all those who pre-order the album on iTunes on Tuesday. I had the chance to speak with Stevo of Sum 41 about things such as their influences, craziest tour experience, and their new album. You can read about that below.

How did Sum 41 come together and how did you come up with the name?

We got together on the 41st day of summer in 1986 after a Warped Tour concert.

How would you describe the sound of your music?

Our music is heavy and aggressive. It’s fast and fun. Very melodic.

How has your music changed since you first started?

I think we’ve become better. Our songwriting have improved and become much more honest. Our musicianship has improved. We’ve taken giant leaps forward and have more confidence.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen or experienced while touring?

All sorts of things. But the craziest has to be a documentary in Africa we were shooting. The Democratic Republic of Congo wanted a band to come over and document the civil war in the country and while we were there all sorts of fighting broke out, and it became this crazy battle with shots being fired, mortars, people dying… We couldn’t get out, so we were stuck, but also dodging bullets and grenades and RPG’s and stuff. We started running from room to room because rooms were getting blown up. We had to be evacuated by the UN… I think that was the craziest thing I ever experienced in life.

What are some things you like to do when you are not touring?

We all do our own things. I like to direct music videos, Cone has a side project called ‘The Operation M.D.’, Deryck likes to produce and write for people. We really all just enjoy being in one place for a while.

Have you toured with anyone that you look at as major influences?

Metallica, Motley Crue, and everyone on Warped Tour have been the most influencing, like Pennywise and NOFX. We worked with Iggy Pop as well. We have major respect for everyone we’ve ever worked with.

Who would you love to work with in the studio, or to tour with?

We’ve worked with tons of people. A lot of our collaborations in the past, we’ve been asked to do. I can’t really think of anyone at the moment, except for maybe Elvis Costello.

Your new album ‘Screaming Bloody Murder’ comes out March 29th. How is it different from your past records, but also how you stay true to the Sum 41-sound that everybody knows and loves.

We’ve always tried different things and explored different sounds. I think our fans, when we sound different, they are fine with that. The new album is darker, heavier, and more aggressive. It’s more melodic and fans will be able to see that.

What do you think the new album will encompass that previous albums haven’t?

I don’t know really. We don’t really think about it that way. The new album reeks new levels of honesty to it. It’s not forced or faked. It has sincere, raw honesty to it that a lot of artists can never get.

What’s the next step for you guys?

Just to keep touring. Our album comes out on the 29th so we’ll keep touring for the next two years or so.

Nicki Minaj Is Pregnant?!?

According to the sometimes not-so-credible source, MediaTakeOut.com, rapper/singer Nicki Minaj is pregnant.

According to the site who claims they have a “ROCK SOLID” insider at Minaj’s record label, Young Money, Minaj recently asked for a reduced schedule due to the fact that she and her boyfriend, Safarree, are expecting a child.

“The insider claims that on Friday Nicki called a CLOSED MEETING with all the Young Money top brass and informed them of her pregnancy.”

The story also claims that Young Money honcho and Minaj’s founder, Lil’ Wayne is furious that Minaj would choose family over work just as her career was beginning to skyrocket.

Please take this story for what it’s worth. MediaTakeOut also reported that Minaj was pregnant in 2009…which was clearly incorrect.
