Ke$ha’s ‘Sexy’ Maxim Spread: Airbrush Awards – PHOTOS

Just in time for the announcement that Ke$ha’s image will be printed on 10,000 condoms to be distributed at her shows, the ‘Tik Tok’ singer will be featured in Maxim’s April 2011 issue. (She also has a set of nude photos including one of her post-coital. Warning…it’s icky. Click HERE for that ESCANDALO!)

The theme of the spread is, “She Will Rock You” and features Ke$ha in nothing but skimpy underwear and a pieces of lingerie (K-Mart’s finest thank you very much). In case you were wondering if she is single and up for grabs, you are in luck.

“No, no boyfriend. I mean, if I met a chubby, bearded man with glasses who didn’t mind being covered in glitter, maybe we could talk. I have yet to find such a man.”

So the guy who lives behind the downtown McDonald’s and calls himself Burger Moses is her soul mate. As for the pics…everyone gets airbrushed. I would want to be dipped in Photoshop and made to look less like Jon Travolta and more like sex symbol too. Of course, she has gobs of cash and I have gobs of Captain Crunch. (It was on sale.)

Hollywood Dame Exclusive Interview – Jessie and the Toy Boys

Jessie Malakouti is ready to push some buttons.

Upon introduction, her disarming smile and runway-ready blonde beauty might inspire you to quickly peg her as the latest addition to pop music’s growing army of disco dolls. But you would be wrong. Jessie is far more than merely meets the eye. As the voice and creative mastermind behind Jessie and the Toy Boys, she reveals herself to be a clever, driven young woman on a mission.

“I don’t mind that people approach me with one attitude and leave with another,” Jessie says. “I like having the power to play with stereotypes… and then shatter them. It’s fun and gratifying.”

First and foremost, Jessie smashes preconceived notions by being the primary architect of her band’s sound. This girl can write. Every note of every song is the result of a self-imposed musical boot-camp that saw the artist immerse — and isolate — herself in the European club underground.

“I’d been in a band that left me feeling like I needed to break out of my comfort zone and gather new perspective and experience,” she says. “So, I went to the U.K., which is where a lot of important and trend-setting music is made. I went alone. I needed to live by my musical wits and instincts for a while, and see where it took me.”

It was a brave move that tested Jessie’s determination. “I won’t deny that those first few days were difficult,” she recalls. “It’s challenging to be that far from the places and people who feel familiar and safe. I even contemplated giving up and going home at one point. But that feeling didn’t last very long. The intention behind going abroad was to grow, and to learn more about who I am as a person and as an artist. You can’t achieve that without a little pain, so I toughed it out.”

The result of Jessie’s determination is a sound that brings listeners to the next sonic dimension of electronic-rooted pop music. The first single, “Push It” (featuring a playful rap interlude by Yelawolf), combines an urgent club bassline with vibrant, sixties-spiked girl-group colors. Jessie’s vocal, by turns, has sex-kitten and brash, rock-diva qualities.

“A great song, to me, is one that sticks to your brain long after you’ve heard it for the first time,” Jessie says. “What I’m trying to accomplish is music that is catchy, but smart. Part of that is combining elements of different genres in ways that you might not imagine working together at first.”

Jessie deftly succeeds in her creative mission with songs like the new-wave-spiced “Valentine” and the introspective, retro-soul-infused “Long Way From Home.” It is during these songs, in particular, that Jessie most effectively proves herself as a vessel for widely varied concepts, while also indicating a remarkable talent for genre interpretation.

It’s been an intriguing journey up to this point for Jessie Malakouti. This enigmatic bombshell admits to starting her own rock band just to piss off her parents and then promptly left home at 16. Growing up in rough patches around Southern California’s Inland Empire added a dark tinge to her savvy pop outlook.

Going from friends’ sofas to audition to odd job and back again, Jessie would live off various paid acting/dance gigs as well as teaching at the local dance studio. She earned her stripes by fronting her rock band Shut Up Stella hitting the sweaty LA club scene and building a West Coast fan base.

Then things started to change. “I just wasn’t in the same head space anymore,” says Jessie, “they wanted to carry on making angry music and I was writing happy pop songs.”

From there, Jessie began to believe that she could navigate her own creative ship. “When you have a vision for yourself, you have to take risks,” she says. “I’m completely comfortable with that, because I decided a while ago that I was going to live or die by my own sword. I’d rather people love me or hate me, nothing in between, thanks.”

Given what Jessie Malakouti has beneath the surface, there’s little chance that her future is anything but bright. If there’s a boundary, Jessie is going to push it.

I had the chance to ask Jessie about her interest in music, who she’d love to work with, and how she’s different from other artists in her genre. You can read about that below.

When did you first realize you had an interest in music and what sparked that interest?

I’ve always had an interest in music. As soon as I could speak I was singing. I used to sing songs in Farsi that my father would teach me. We had a piano in our home and my siblings and I would literally get into fights with each other over who got to play it longer.

What drives and inspires you to do what you love?

Life inspires me to write and perform songs. Human nature and emotion; Love, hate, lust, sex, betrayal, war, happiness… Jessie and The Toy Boys is just about putting it all to music.

Do you find it easy to sing and perform? Does it come naturally for you?

I’ve always felt most comfortable on a stage. When I’m performing I am happiest. I’m really looking forward to all the shows the Toy Boys and I have planned this year.

Besides music, what are some of your favorite things to do?

I love to dance. I really enjoy taking ballet and jazz. I’m a big prankster and I love pulling pranks on people… I also love spending quality time with my friends and family.

If you had the chance to work or record with anyone, who would you choose?

There are so many people I’d love to work with. From a production stand point I’d love to work with Dave Stewart from The Eurythmics, and from an artist collaboration the ultimate dream would be Madonna.

How would you describe the sound of your music?

The Jessie and The Toy Boys sound is like biting into a cherry cordial chocolate. On the outside you don’t really know what you’re going to get, but as soon as you take a bite it’s an explosion of sweet and sour. Plus it leaves you buzzed!

How do you feel that you’re different from other artists in your genre?

First off no one sounds like me. I am a unique artist with my own swag that cannot be imitated or duplicated.

What are some of your short-term and long-term goals you have lined out for yourself?

Short term, I want to tour the world with the Toy Boys and meet all my beautiful fans in different places. Long term, I want to win an Academy Award.

What are your upcoming plans for promoting your music?

For Jessie and The Toy Boys to send a sonic-BOOM across the globe.

Lindsay Lohan Considering Plea Deal

Reality just might be sinking into Lindsay Lohan’s head, as she’s apparently ready to accept a plea deal in her jewelry theft case. TMZ reports that lawyers for Lohan and prosecutors for the state of California are hammering out a deal that would put Lohan back behind bars – but only under her terms. Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers is dead-set on a six-month jail term she deserves, and that’s led Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley to book a meeting with the judge for next week to do a little negotiating and will ask Judge Schwartz what sort of sentence he’d give Lohan if she took a plea bargain.

Sources familiar with the case and Judge Schwartz believe His Honor would probably go for a three-month sentence.

Our sources say both Meyers and Holley believe Lindsay will only do 20% of the actual sentence because of overcrowding. So, if Judge Schwartz gave Lindsay three months, she’d only serve 18 days.

How is over-crowing even an issue? Doesn’t seem to be a problem when us regular folks do some stupid shizz. Judge Schwartz has warned Lohan – who is free on $40,000 bail – if she pleads guilty or no contest to the charge then she would do jail time and that he could rule that she is in violation of her earlier DUI order. Lohan must decide whether to accept the deal or plead not guilty and take the case to trial by the time of her next hearing, which has been set for March 10th. Sixth mugshot, coming up!

Avril Lavigne Engaged to Brody Jenner?

What the hell, is Avril Lavigne engaged again already? She married back in 2007 to Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley, but that ended and the divorce was final less than a year ago. She’s since moved on and has been exclusively dating Brody Jenner for about a year, but we may be hearing wedding bells soon because sources are saying the couple is engaged now.

Per Celebitchy (via Star):

On Feb. 9, during the duo’s whirlwind trip to Europe, the divorced singer, 26, e-mailed a bandmate a picture of her left hand with what appears to be an engagement ring on it – with the subject line “ha ha.” And insiders tell Star that Brody, 27, did indeed pop the question to his girlfriend of about a year. “Avril has hinted to pals that she thought Brody was planning a big surprise during their trip to France,” says an insider. “It’s just her style to be coy rather than coming out with an announcement right away.”

Is Avril really trying to go down the alter another time? The first time worked out so well! Does Hot Topic have a bridal registry?

New Music Friday – Il Volo

Move over American Idol – it’s Italy’s time to shine. In May 2009, three fresh-faced teenagers, Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble, appeared on the popular Italian talent show Ti Lascio Una Canzone and dazzled viewers with their flawless rendition of the Italian standard “O Sole Mio.” It was at this moment Il Volo (which means “the flight” in English) was born. Their self-titled debut album, released in Italy this past November, has already been certified platinum, and the group will debut their album to the US on April 12th.

Piero (17), Ignazio (16) and Gianluca (16) recorded Il Volo in Los Angeles, Rome, and at London’s famed Abbey Road studios with a number of renowned producers including Humberto Gatica, who has worked with the likes of Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, and Celine Dion. The album is a stellar showcase for the three young singers’ astonishing vocal talent, as they interpret a range of both new and traditional, classically influenced pop songs, including single “O Sole Mio,” “Smile” (popularized by Nat King Cole), a medley of Ennio Morricone songs from the soundtracks of his movies like Once Upon a Time in America, “La Luna Hizo Esto” (written specifically for Il Volo by multi-platinum songwriter Diane Warren), and more.

Il Volo made their American television debut this week singing “O Sole Mio” on CBS’ ‘The Talk,’ and had the audience jumping out of their seats for a standing ovation. For a limited time, get a free download of the track by visiting IlVoloMusic.com. Fans can also preorder the album via Amazon or through the official website, where you can also get to know the group through a short introductory piece and watch the official music video for “O Sole Mio.”

They may be young but Il Volo’s mission is clear: “We want to share our love for this music with people all over the world, including kids our own age.” That they say “would be our dream come true.”

Britney Spears’ ‘Till The World Ends’ – AUDIO

Britney Spears stopped by “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” and released ‘Till The World Ends’ while talking about her new album, boyfriend and work.

['Till the World Ends' starts around the 6:44 mark]

It’s one of the better songs (I think) so far. You can click HERE to hear some more teaser clips of Britney Spears’ new ‘Femme Fatale’ album. Aside from sharing the song, she also talks about an upcoming tour, her anticipated GMA performance and boyfriend Jason Trawick.

On her upcoming ‘Good Morning America’ performance: “[I'm performing] three songs.”

On touring for her new album: “Yes, I’m supposed to be going on tour.” Her manager Larry Rudolph added, ”early summer.”

On boyfriend Jason Trawick’s physique: “He’s definitely ripped. He just got on this health kick.”

On what Britney and Jason do in their downtime: “We’re really normal. We just like to watch movies, we work out a lot, we take walks.”

Penelope Cruz ‘Hates’ Eva Longoria

Eva Longoria has opted to mend her broken heart with a younger man instead of tubs of Haagen-Dazs washed down with rum while watching reruns of ‘The Tudors’ (Jonathan Rhys Meyers shirtless makes everything better).

Since her split from Tony Parker, soon to be 36 year old Longoria has been dating Penelope Cruz’s 25 year old brother, Eduardo Cruz. The couple has been trying to keep a low profile, but recently were photographed enjoying a post New Year yachting trip. (Click HERE for those pics…) Following their holiday PDA, Eduardo had Eva’s name tattooed onto his arm. (Click HERE for a photo of the tat…) However, Eva doesn’t seem as deep into the infatuation as he is. In fact, a story by National Enquirer (via Celebitchy) is adamant that Penelope Cruz thinks Eva is using him to get close to her and Javier Bardem so she can further her career.

“Penelope believes Eva is nothing more than a fame-hungry, bad B-list actress who is using Eduardo in an effort to further her career… Penelope doesn’t understand why Eduardo is settling for a woman nearly 10 years older – especially one who failed so spectacularly at her last relationship. She thinks Eduardo can do much better than Eva. She’s always reminding him that he’s young, gorgeous and successful and that he could have his pick of women,” said the source. “Penelope has no desire to get chummy with Eva,” the source added. “And she wishes she’d leave her baby brother alone, too.”

I get this on many levels. Penelope is also guilty of dating to benefit her career. (Hello “relationship” with Tom Cruise.) But I get that he is her little brother and doesn’t want the sexy hobbit from ‘Desperate Housewives’ breaking his heart, but he is a grown a$$ man. Either way I am team Penelope.

Jimmy Fallon’s Charlie Sheen Impression-SEE IT HERE

What better way to make light of Charlie Sheen’s apparent drop into the abyss of crazydom, than with a Jimmy Fallon impression.

After his antics and inability to get along with his boss caused the shut down of his television show, ‘Two and a Half Men,’ Sheen was then relieved of his parenting duties when his ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, alleged that Sheen was making death threats towards her-the mother of his twin sons Max and Bob.

Via The Huffington Post:

Jimmy Fallon’s bit taking on Charlie Sheen last night was a priceless mockery of Sheen’s recent interviews, dropping all the favorites like “adonis DNA” and “tiger blood.” At first it’s even hard to tell that it’s really Fallon.

The sketch, which comedically sells “Winning,” the new fragrance from Charlie Sheen, ran on Wednesday night’s show, the day after the actor joined Twitter.

According to TMZ, Sheen joined the Twitter-verse this week for one simple reason: cash.

Sheen told us … his primary motivation behind the new ramblings is that he can score a fortune through advertising. To give this some context, Kim Kardashian is reportedly pulling in $10,000 per tweet.

We pressed him more, and Charlie interrupted by saying, “Mike, I’m unemployed!”

In just 48 hours, Charlie has attracted 1.1 million followers.

Why? Because people love the crazy.
