Selena Gomez NOT Punched by Justin Bieber Fan

Justin Bieber fans can be a little… um… crazy, shall we say? But have they taken things up a notch and actually gotten physical? Rumors began spreading like wildfire last night that Selena Gomez had been punched in the face by an enraged Bieber fan after a photo hit the net of Gomez covering her face and sporting an apparent fat lip while celebrating Bieber’s birthday. The possibility of that happening doesn’t seem completely impossible, but in this case it was nothing more than a rumor.

Per People:

The topic #sorryjustin started trending on Twitter, and in no time, word quickly spread that Gomez was hit by a jealous Bieber fan. But Gomez’s rep denies the claims, telling PEOPLE there is “absolutely no truth” to the rumors.

Those Bieber fans sure mean business! But it turns out that these two were merely trying to duck the twenty million flash bulbs that were going off in their faces – hence the reason she was covering her face. Gomez’s friend, Taylor Swift, is backing up that there’s no truth to the Belieber punch on Twitter, tweeting “Selena Gomez was NOT punched. It was a cold sore on her lip and thats what she was hiding. It was obviously the paps she was crying about!”

Olivia Wilde and Ryan Gosling Dating ?!

Newly single Olivia Wilde didn’t stay single for long – she’s now enjoying the company of Ryan Gosling! Last week the pair were spotted at a Mexican restaurant in downtown Cincinnati for what has been described as a “a cute friendly brunch”. The two were also spotted flirting at a Golden Globes afterparty held at the Beverly Hilton. And recently they were spotted at an aquarium on what appeared to be a date – complete with a video circulating the web in which you can reportedly see them holding hands and Ryan putting his hand on Olivia’s back.

You can see Ryan, in a maroon sweater and blue baseball cap and Olivia, in a black hooded leather jacket, moseying around the aquarium together in the video, posted below.

Go to the 12-minute mark to see them walking around; they never leave each other’s sides.

During the video you’ll see what looks to us like some incognito hand-holding and a few grazes on Wilde’s back courtesy Mr. Gosling.

Wilde just split from husband Tao Ruspoli, so she is back on the prowl, while Gosling has most recently been linked to Blake Lively and Michelle Williams. Interesting to hear, and they could be a great match, but we’ll see what comes of it! These Hollywood relationships never seem to last long anyways.

Jay-Z ‘Worried’ as Rihanna Lifts Chris Brown Restraining Order

Jay-Z is reportedly extremely worried about his protégé and her career. Jigga helped build Rihanna to her current status and all that is reportedly jeopardy.

A source type told Look Magazine (via MTV UK) that Jay is concerned with RiRi as her health is taking a backseat to her work ethic. The singer has been battling bouts of bronchitis and laryngitis all while continuing to work on promos for her new album, performances at award events and traveling.

“Rihanna’s professional, works hard and stays away from drugs and alcohol, but Jay wants her to be careful. He told her to take a holiday for a week – she’s been working flat out and needs to get over the bronchitis, which he’s sure she’s developed as a result of stress.”

They added: “He told her she’ll be alright, but to keep her head down.”

To add to the concern, Jay-Z is also very wary of her growing reconciliation with Chris Brown. Rihanna had the restraining order against abusive Brown lifted. He is worried that this will only invite more problems and Rihanna will lose the respect of her fans.

“Jay said she is a role model for a lot of your kids. A little bit of controversy is alright, he said, but too much and she could very easily lose all the respect she has worked so hard to win overnight.”

After the order was lifted new pics of Rihanna’ beaten and bruised face conveniently hit the net. (Click HERE for those…) Hardly coincidental, but hopefully Jigga has nothing to worry about. Ri has been rumored to be hooking up with Ryan Phillippe for several months. (Click HERE for that story…)

Zac Efron Caught Flirting with a Guy

The National Enquirer is weaving a tale of closeted funsies surrounding Zac Efron. I am typically a person that says, “Pics or it didn’t happen,” but I thought it would be amusing to indulge.

The headline in bold capital letters worthy of Kayne West’s rants states, “ZAC CAUGHT HOLDING HANDS” as the words “WITH A GUY” are highlighted in yellow. I am suddenly hit with nostalgic memories of middles school.

The report says that Zac “stunned onlookers” at some Hollywood event by holding hands with a guy in what they deem was an attempt to spark jealousy in Vanessa Hudgens. NE calls her his “ex-galpal” and it makes me wonder if a 12 year old and a 65 year old worked on the report together.

An “eyewitness” type says that Efron “got cozy with a buff young man” at a NBA event at the W Hotel.

‘I was shocked at how relaxed and open Zac was with this guy,’ continued the fellow partygoer. ‘He walked around talking to him, smiling and holding his hand right in front of everyone, including Vanessa. People were wondering if maybe it was a stunt to make Vanessa jealous. But truthfully, Zac really seemed into the guy.’

The “Charlie St. Cloud” star and Hudgens made nice as they exchanged a nice greeting before spending the rest of the night with their friends.

Hmm…Zac Efron Gay????

Paula Abdul Valentine’s Day Date Ends With 911 Call

Paula Abdul had a crazed Valentine’s Day. Most people spent a ridiculous amount on flowers, chocolates and stuffed animals (aka poor people’s version of jewelry) but Paula’s day ended with a 911 call.

At 4:35 PM on Valentine’s Day 2011 Paula wanted to be taken home. Her date wasn’t obliging and the former ‘American Idol’ judge called 911.

Per TMZ:

“Paula cries and sobs hysterically and says, “I wanna go, and he won’t let me!” Seconds later Paula says, “Are you gonna drop me off ’cause I have emergency on the phone” — and shortly after that she says, “He’s dropping me off.”

She is barely able to form coherent directions as the operator tries to locate her. Later, cops got into contact with Paula and she stated it was a verbal dispute that got out of hand. The authorities checked on her that night and she refused to file a police report.

All is back to normal in her world. She was photographed leaving Villa Blanca restaurant in Beverly Hills in late February and smiled for looming paps.

Kim Kardashian’s Song “Jam”-LISTEN TO IT HERE

Apparently, a sex tape and a reality show qualifies you as a singer. And here we have the new single by none other than Kim Kardashian.

Though I had anticipated the song to be titled “Ass,” my suggestion was passed over for the more poignantly titled, “Jam.”

According to the lyrics, Kim’s gonna work like she’s paying her bills. Having seen her sex tape, one can only assume what they may consist of.

Kardashian stopped by the Ryan Seacrest show to pimp the song today.

“…my good friend Ciara was like ‘The-Dream wants your number’ and i was like ‘Please, I’m sure he does’ and she said ‘no seriously he really wants to do a song with you’.” Adding, “[The-Dream said] let’s just have fun. Let’s donate the proceeds, let’s just have fun with it don’t take yourself seriously, try something you’ve never done before.”

To her credit, Kim is donating all proceeds from the song to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Even a cold hearted skank like myself can get behind her ass for that.

Christina Aguilera Joins NBC’s ‘The Voice’

NBC’s answer to ‘American Idol‘ has found its’ Paula Abdul: The network has announced that Christina Aguilera will be the third coach on the new singing competition series ‘The Voice,’ joining Cee-Lo Green and Maroon 5′s Adam Levine, with the last fourth coach expected to be named shortly. Will she teach everyone to skip a line in a song?

Per EW:

“I am so excited to be part of such a wonderful project that celebrates music and the talent behind it,” Aguilera said in a statement. “To be given the opportunity to help shape new artists’ careers and mentor them to see their dreams come to fruition is a task I welcome with open arms. I am so happy to be working with fellow Grammy Award winners Adam and Cee Lo as I feel there is so much we can all bring to The Voice.”

The timing of the announcement could have been better. Aguilera was stopped and arrested early Tuesday morning after police said she was riding in a car while extremely intoxicated. And lets not forget how she flubbed the lyrics to our National Anthem, or when she fell on stage after singing a tribute to Aretha Franklin at this years Grammy Awards. Someone’s gotta coach the contestants on the fine art of oversinging.

The summer singing competition show – hosted by Carson Daly – will premiere April 26, right about the time American Idol will be down to its top 10. The show features the judges choosing to work with contestants based on their voices alone — they’re not allowed to see them first. Once they choose their favorites, they mentor them to stardom, and America will decide which contestant wins a recording contract and a cash prize.

Check out this first look of Britney Spears upcoming cover and photo shoot for ‘V’ magazine.

In the issue, the magazine says, “The bitch is back and better than ever!” Photographer Mario Testino shot Spears for the upcoming issue, her first cover since appearing on UK fashion magazine ‘Pop‘ last year, which features poses in several color shades.

Per The Sun:

Brit posted one of the shots on her Twitter page and said: “I HEART Mario Testino and V Magazine.”

“Had such an amazing photoshoot. So much fun.”

It’s been a while since we’ve gotten a good old fashioned dose of the Britney, so we’re excited to see the mag when it hits stands tomorrow!

Justin Bieber is one year away from being legal as he celebrated his 17th birthday (March 1st). The Biebs hit Maggiano’s at The Grove for dinner with his girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

Selena and Justin have been dating for months, but they made their public debut at a pre-Oscar party. (Click HERE for those pics…) Since then they have been practically inseparable. Earlier in the week they booked a $6,000/night hotel room at the St. Regis Monarch Beach hotel. They spent his birthday shopping at Dolce and Gabbana and Louis Vuitton. As they left Maggiano’s they held hands as Bieber navigated her through the swarming paparazzi.
