Jim Carrey Having a Mid-Life Crisis

Is he going all ‘Charlie Sheen‘ on us? Jim Carrey is pushing 50 years old and just went through a heartbreaking split from Jenny McCarthy last year, but now it seems that he could be having a mid-life crisis. His newest hair-cut has the actor rocking an 80′s style biker Mohawk – and it’s not for a role, as far as his rep knows. He obviously hasn’t lost his sense of humor!

Per People:

The actor recently surfaced in Los Angeles sporting a sky-high mohawk, with shaved sides and all. It’s certainly a big change from his usual look, and a complete 180 from the long locks he sported several years ago.

I’m actually surprised that he has gotten a haircut – voluntarily – worse than the one for ‘Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.’ Carrey debuted his new ‘do on Twitter, where he posted a picture and wrote, “I am a paintbrush.” Recent reports claimed Jim has begged McCarthy to take him back, promising to go to therapy or do whatever it takes to get his mood swings and depression under control, which was her biggest problem with him.

Per Showbiz Spy:

“Jim’s dated a string of women since he and Jenny broke up but nothing’s lasted lasted more than a week. He’s still crazy in love with Jenny and just can’t seem to move on.”

No reconciliation has seemed to have happened thus far – which, along with the new haircut, is leaving friends and family wondering if he’s heading towards a mid-life crisis. What’s next Jim? Ferrari? Yacht? 19-year-old Russian bride? Carrey, we are laughing with you AND at you. You got our attention, just don’t do it again.

Katy Perry Cheating on Russell Brand ?!

Holy are-you-kidding-me Batman! Is it true? The latest w-t-f-Monday rumor going around claims that newlyweds Katy Perry and Russell Brand are already on the rocks and that she’s been seen kissing another dude! According to several insiders, Perry is cheating on her husband with her sometimes writing partner and producer Benny Blanco. I don’t buy it, but so-called spies say that she and Blanco spent hours in the studio together recording ‘California Gurls‘ and have been sleeping together.

Per Sugarscape:

Marlon David, a music producer friend of the pair said: “When she’s around Benny, Katy gets extra flirty and only has eyes for him.”

Blanco has produced songs for Britney Spears, Ke$ha and others. If the rumors are true, it would be quite the twist considering Perry’s hubby is in fact the admitted sex addict in their relationship. The rumors don’t just start/stop there – Perry also appears on the front cover of NW magazine along with the title suggesting that she’s cheating! Underneath that, there is the title, “Split Fears After Shock Revelation”, leading the reader to assume that she’s already cheating on her husband after only having been married for several months. In their “exclusive”, they claim that Katy has another man – so says her ‘close friend’ Angela Summers.

“Katy has grown closer and closer to Benny Blanco over the last year.” Summers goes on to add: “Katy loves to flirt with everybody, but when she’s around Benny she gets extra flirty and only has eyes for him. She told me that she loves the fact he makes time for her whenever she needs him. I actually saw them together in the studio when they were mixing California Gurls. I saw Katy kiss him… It didn’t look like a friendly kiss.”

With friends like that, who needs enemies?! For his part, Brand has already come out and said that he would rather be gardening than doing the deed with his wife, so there might be some truth to the rumors. Still, we’ll chalk this one up to wild accusations for now until there is a break-up or some picture-proof.

Kimberly Stewart Pregnant with Benicio Del Toro’s Baby

Holy Random News Batman!!!!!

The last time I heard anything smut worthy about Benicio Del Toro, it was when he supposedly hooked up with Scarlett Johansson in the bathroom at the Oscars a few years back.

But now?!? It’s like Christmas in April as Del Toro’s rep confirmed to Life and Style that he and famous daughter Kimberly Stewart are expecting a baby!!!

“Kimberly is pregnant. Benicio is the father and is very supportive. Although they are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby.”

OMG! It’s so awesome I love it. Did you read what she said: they’re not a couple…i.e. ‘I totally hooked up with this random chick and now she’s prego…I am not sure I remember who she is.’

Kimberly, deaughter of singer Rod Stewart, was recently linked to actors Jude Law (it’s amazing that super swimming sperm didn’t impregnate her, no?) and Rhys Ifans, both of whom have had relationships with actress Sienna Miller as well.

Stewart was also briefly engaged to Laguana Beach star Talan Torriero back in 2005. Though no reason was given for the break in engagement, many speculate that it had something to do with her being 7 years old than Torriero…or that his show was canceled.

Katie Couric To Return To ‘Today Show’

We reported that Katie Couric is likely not renewing her contract with the CBS Evening News when it expires in June, as well as what appears to be Couric’s former co-host on the ‘Today Show,’ Matt Lauer’s potential exit from that program as well.

However, before all that goes down, Couric and Lauer will reunite on the ‘Today Show’ when Matt interviews Couric as she promotes her new book, The Best Advice I Ever Got: Lessons From Extraordinary Lives.

The book, a collection of interviews Couric has done over her years as a journalist will be released this Tuesday. Her appearance on the ‘Today Show’ is scheduled for Wednesday morning.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Couric is in talks with former ‘Today Show’ producer Jeff Zucker, to star in a sydicated daytime talk show.

And Lauer may be joining her.

“According to the WSJ [Wall Street Journal], Zucker — who also worked with Lauer on Today –has been discussing the idea of reuniting the two, who hosted Today together from 1997, when Lauer joined the program, until Couric left in 2006.

However, it’s far from being a done deal. For starters, it’s not likely that NBC parent Comcast Corp. will let Lauer go so easily once his contract expires. In addition, the WSJ’s sources said they weren’t sure whether Couric’s discussions with Lauer will progress beyond just talk.”

Britney Spears Dance Double Surfaces – PHOTOS

Britney Spears has a dance double. Enter a ThisIsMahShocked Face here.

Britney faced body double rumors with her video for ‘Hold It Against Me.’ A rumor stated that the video’s director, Jonas Akerlund, became frustrated after Brit couldn’t nail the moves and replaced her with a back up dancer. (Click HERE for Team Britney’s explanation…)

Spears is once again facing more dance double allegations as a few stills from her video for ‘Till the World Ends’ reveals a bad wig wearing dancer that is not Britney. Hollyscoop reports that three stand ins were used for the video. One is said to be Tiana Brown. (Obviously the dancer shown in the pic is a lighter skin tone, so it is doubtful Tiana did this scene.) She served as a back-up dancer/choreographer for Brit’s ‘Circus’ tour. Allison Kyler was another dancer rumored to be supplying a more vibrant Britney in her videos.

Their sources also say that Our Lady Spears is on so much medication that she is practically sedated. This isn’t the first “zombie Britney Spears” rumor we have heard. It would explain the fact that she has the energy/enthusiasm level of teenager being paid minimum wage to wear a Chuck E. Cheese costume.

Nicki Minaj Joins Britney Spears’ Tour

Since Enrique Iglesias hit ESC key on Britney Spears because he was rumored to have a gigantic ego/wanted more cash, Brit’s camp has been in negotiations to replace her opening act. Technically they will be “co-headlining,” but Nicki Minaj is officially touring with Spears on her Femme Fatale tour.

Most TMZ suggests that fans seem to think Minaj is a far better choice than Enrique and are happy to hear of the replacement. Nicki is currently on tour with Lil Wayne until the end of April, but will be ready for the launch of Spears’ tour on June 17th. (Click HERE for more tour dates and city stops…)

They could have replaced him with a can of soup and this will still be a sold out tour. Brit stans will pay top dollar to watch her sit on a box and flap her jaws to a pre-recorded song about a bass swelling. Alas, I could be wrong. While the reviews are decent, projections for the album are low. Pair that with body doubles doing most of the dancing for Britney’s videos and you get my what’s the point? shrug.

Lindsay Lohan and Betty White Feud

I am going to bust out my red leather jacket, throw on some gold chains, pinch roll my jeans and tie myself to Lindsay Lohan in a well choreographed knife fight circa ‘Beat It’ all in the name of Betty White.

Betty pointed out the obvious and stated that Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen have snorted their careers away. The Daily Mail published an article about the Golden Girl that mentioned her thoughts on celebrities who fall into drug and alcohol abuse pool of self entitlement.

“I cannot stand the people who get wonderful starts in show business, and who abuse it. Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen, for example, although there are plenty of others, too. They are the most blessed people in the world and they don’t appreciate it. They party too much, don’t learn their lines, are unprofessional and they grumble about everything. I think they are terribly ungrateful. We considered ourselves lucky to be on the box, never complained if a critic didn’t like us, dressed modestly and were always on our best behavior in public.”

Being that Betty is Hollywood veteran that has morphed into an icon as well as being America’s adopted coolest grandmother who can drink you under the table and tell you about the time she nailed Frank Sinatra…you bow down and say ‘Yes, Betty White!’ even if she calls you $2 truck stop hooker. Lindsay didn’t get that All Hail Betty! memo and whined to E! about White being honest and blunt.

“Wow. I’ve always been a fan of hers. It’s just a bit strange when people feel they must speak publicly about others. Especially a grown woman.”

Que a slew of Bitch, PLEASE looks. All that spray tan and coke has officially mentally handicapped Lindsay Lohan. Betty is right. Betty is always right. The end.

Mark Ballas and Pia Toscano Dating Thanks to Chris Jericho

Two reality stars whose names I had to google are hooking up. It’s Monday before noon post-spring break debauchery…so we are rolling with it.

Pia Toscano, who is the latest eliminated from ‘American Idol,’ and Mark Ballas, ‘Dancing with the Stars’ pro, are dating. You might be throwing some Who Cares? Shade, but for those who are eager to know about Pia’s conquest…continue on.

The DWTS soundstage is next to the A.I. stage and Pia has been stalking hoping to run into Mark. She has had a crush on the dance pro and current contestant, Chris Jericho, managed to help the two meet.

Sources (a.k.a. hobos paid in fried chicken) told People that Toscano and Ballas were spotted on a date the day after the Idol hopeful was eliminated. The couple spent Friday evening in each other’s company and looked “cozy.” They met at the Gulfstream restaurant in Century City for some nosh.
