It appears Charlie Sheen will be winning some more soon. What will he be winning? Custody of his twin boys from soon to be ex-wife Brooke Mueller. She’s had custody of the children since Charlie went off his rocker a few months ago, but now she too is in no shape to care for them. Mueller has entered rehab again following a “week of binging,” sources have told TMZ, and she was forced to enter after refusing a mandatory drug test on Friday. Sources say that refusal was because of a reported cocaine bender that lasted the entire week, according to multiple reports… And Sheen is not taking this too lightly.
Sheen’s lawyers are going to court on Tuesday to raise the issue, and we’re told Brooke’s move is a preemptive strike.
Both Sheen and Mueller – who have both had a well documented battle with addiction – are required to undergo mandatory random drugs tests three times a month as part of their custody settlement. Sheen’s attorney is said to be planning to notify Mueller’s lawyers today that he will be asking a judge to give him the boys while she completes her treatment. Mueller’s refusal to take the drug test followed reports she had tried to hock an expensive men’s watch and a stereo at a pawn shop in Los Angeles, despite receiving $55,000 a month in child support from Sheen. Surveillance footage showed a nervous-looking Mueller pacing around the store Thursday while her items were being checked out. Mueller was desperately trying to get cash for the two items but the store would not make the purchase because she did not have a valid ID.
Neither Mueller or Sheen seem to be fit guardians. But with Sheen’s drug tests reportedly coming back clean, does that mean he will get the twins? Hard to beleive that he seems to be the lesser of two evils at this moment. Isn’t there some very trusting, sane, and sober grandparent, aunt or uncle, or close family friend that could raise the boys until Mueller and Sheen get their act together?
