80′s Icons Tiffany and Debbie Gibson Announce Joint Tour

The preteen fan-girl inside of me just squealed at such a high-pitch that the dolphins are now on alert! Two of the most iconic names in 80′s music are set to unite for a world tour!

Tiffany and Debbie Gibson have revealed plans for an 80′s themed tour. The two plan to cover some of the biggest songs from the 80′s from artists like Stevie Nicks, Reba McIntyre, and Guns-N-Roses – as well as some Broadway tunes. Naturally, they will also perform their own materials, including the songs that made them a hit back in the ’80s. This we got to see!

“We want to journey through the ’80s and all the artists who influenced us,” Tiffany told New York Post.

Tiffany – who is now 39 years old – achieved overnight stardom in 1987 with her first single “I Think We’re Alone Now.” But her parents and manager disagreed on her future and her fame basically ended in a court room in 1989. After two comeback attempts and a Playboy shoot later, she’s now back on stage and enjoyed a second wind as a country artist, releasing the country album “Rose Tatto.” Meanwhile Debbie – who is now 40 years old – started off in 1987 with songs like “Lost in Your Eyes,” “Out of the Blue,” and “Electric Youth.” She later moved on to Broadway and has even co-starred with Tiffany in one of the most horrifically bad films you could ever endure – “Mega Python vs. Gatoroid” on the SyFy channel.
