Simon Cowell to Hire Paula Abdul for ‘X-Factor’

‘The X Factor‘ is coming to Fox this Fall and it’s getting tons of press because Simon Cowell is the man behind this show. Plus it has a huge prize for the winner, a $5 million record contract. Can you imagine winning that prize? ‘America Idol‘ who? There has been tons of speculation on who will be joining Simon as a Judge on the new show. Mariah Carey, Jessica Simpson, and Rihanna have all been rumored to be judges, but today we finally know who really made the cut.

Today Simon all but said Paula Abdul is coming to The X-Factor and will be joining him on the judges panel! This was pretty much a no-brainer decision. People loved her on Idol and Simon was a big fan of hers. And luckily Paula’s dance reality TV show on CBS bombed and she was available.

Per Ok!:

He explained, “I missed her the second she left the show. Always loved working with her even though she can be a pain. And I’ve been consistent about this. I don’t know what it is about her, but I’ve always clicked with her.” He added, “You just have to get that chemistry, and she’s right. I’ve never found anyone better than her. I think there’s a good chance it will be her.”

With all of the anticipation and promotion going for this show I am definitely planning on watching it. Plus, as I said before – who doesn’t love Paula’s crazy antics?
