Normally women get a case of the Awws! at the news of babies and weddings. (It gives me the Ewws, but I am not programmed to enjoy the company of babies and children.) However, I have found that scorned Muse fans typically cross their arms and get a case of the eye rolls when Kate Hudson’s name pops up. They are going to be throwing extra shade as the news that Kate and Matt Bellamy are engaged spreads. Hudson announced that she and Matt got engaged last week as she flashed a huge diamond ring on The Today Show. (Video below…)

Kate was married to The Black Crowes frontman, Chris Robinson, but they divorced in 2006 because fidelity is hard and junk. She then started making rounds in the hook up rumor ring from everyone to Justin Timberlake to her son’s ski instructor. Eventually she settled down in the crotch of Alex Rodriguez until December of 2009. Enter Matt Bellamy in the spring of 2010 and a “surprise” pregnancy. Basically she strikes me as the result of a one night stand that took place between Katherine Heigl and Sienna Miller.
