Blake Lively Goes Red Head – PHOTOS

I am jealous of the ginge. Truly I am. Blondes have more fun but the red heads making the rocking world go round. (As do Fat Bottom Girls.) But I am not digging Blake Lively’s red hair hue.

Perhaps it’s the dress. The curly ginger with the aquamarine dress and rhinestone encrusted bra is all too Little Mermaid. She looks like she should be perched on a papier-mâché rock singing “Part of Your World” with a puppet fish.

Blake dyed her hair for a role in a new film she is attached to. She told People on the TIME 100 Gala in New York City that she transformed her look because she felt the piece she was playing was a glorious ginge.

“It’s for the film Hick. I thought [my character] needed red hair. It helps when you’re playing a role, when I don’t feel like myself. And I don’t really feel like myself with red hair.”
