Jennifer Lopez is People’s Most Beautiful Woman

Toss me another big bag of Yeah Okay and let’s try to keep the eye rolling to a minimum.

Jennifer Lopez was named People Magazine’s “World’s Most Beautiful Woman.” Not sure on which world this is true, but we will smile nod and say something nice….Wow. Her teeth are a nice shade of white.

Lopez regained some relevancy with ‘American Idol’ and is working that angle like a pair of Chanel Slingbacks she spent her rent money on. Don’t worry. She is still the same “Jenny from the Block” and reminded us of that…

“I kind of like it. We’ve kind of owned it now. But I certainly don’t like and I’ve never been a person who has what they call ‘diva behavior,’ which is something they tried to pin on me for a long time.”

And to prove that she isn’t a diva…she talks about how being beautiful is her job.

“From her skincare regimen to her grueling workouts and portion-controlled diet, Lopez says she makes a concerted effort to stay in top form. “The thing is, it’s part of my job,” says the singer, who ran a triathlon six months after she gave birth. “I don’t want anybody thinking it’s easy. It does take time and it’s hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody’s friend!”

I’m going to go watch some ‘In Living Color’ and reminisce the old days when she was tolerable.

Lady Gaga Inspired by ‘A Lot of Weed’

I love how brazen Lady Gaga is. She will admit to snorting a bottle of vodka and only wanting to entertain a well endowed man in her bed.
Her honest admissions never cease. Perhaps it’s a shock factor or maybe she is brutally honest. Either way, Gaga was equally as open with Harpers Bazaar as she entertained them for an interview and sneak peek of ‘Born This Way.’

Lady Gaga on pot being the catalyst for the single: “And her inspiration for the video’s out-of-this-world surrealism? “A lot of weed.” Later she elaborates, “’Born This Way’ is the marijuana to the heroin of the album. The [album's] experience gets massively more intense as you explore it. All the different songs are different kinds of highs.”

A highlight moment of her Gaga sense also came through as HB goes into a rather “tense” moment about her boney look for ‘Born This Way.’ She is adamant that what you see in the video and her performance of the song is not makeup.

“Well, first of all,” she says, “they’re not prosthetics. They’re my bones.”
Okay, so when did the bones appear?
“They’ve always been inside of me, but I have been waiting for the right time to reveal to the universe who I truly am.”
Did she will them to come out for this album?
“They come out when I’m inspired.”

Perhaps she means in a sense of art such as tattoos becoming part of who you are. Or maybe she is delusional and needs to ease up on the bong. Either way, she does share several good points deeper into the interview.

On her image and fans trying to emulate her to the point of body modification: “”I have never had plastic surgery, and there are many pop singers who have. I think that promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification.”

Where she spends her millions: “She says it goes to her live shows and her friends. She flew about 20 people to L.A. for the Grammys, and if anyone on tour needs equipment, it comes out of her piggy bank. ‘I spend my money on my props and my creations. I’m an inventor.’ What means something to me is my music. I don’t want to make money; I want to make a difference.”

Kinda makes me feel bad for wanting to blow money on a man-servant. Kinda.

Christina Hendricks: More Than Just Boobs – PHOTOS

“I got practically no responsibilities, my job’s a breeze, and I got a killer rack! Good morning!”

That old adage is hand painted on 6 foot portrait of myself hanging in the lobby of my office building. (Ok, it’s more like… on a Post-It note that is stuck to a picture of me drunk on St. Patrick’s Day 3 years ago that sits on my office desk.) Regardless, that quote comes to mind whenever I think of Christina Hendricks. She is launching herself into stardom and boobs only get you so far in Hollywood, so she has to have the goods.

Currently she is bedding Doogie Hower in the New York Philharmonic’s production of Stephen Sondheim’s ‘Company,’ guest starring on ‘Body of Proof,’ working the ‘Mad Men’ set and filming ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It.’ Her resume includes 31 titles and at least 15 magazine covers (and counting) since her rise in popularity. Christina may be known for her natural busty figure, but she will be remembered for her talent.

Here are some fun facts:
*She is actually blonde, but has dyed her hair red since she was 10.
*Hendricks started as a teen model.
*Her measurements are rumored to be 39D-30-39.
*Voted Best Looking American Woman by Esquire magazine in 2010.
*Has been nominated for SyFy Awards (won), Screen Actors Guild Awards (won), Emmy Award.
*UK Equalities Minister Lynne Featherstone dubbed her positive influence for women and stated: “Christina Hendricks is absolutely fabulous… We need more of these role models. There is such a sensation when there is a curvy role model. It shouldn’t be so unusual.”

As a fellow curvy dame, I appreciate her attitude and talent. When I was in high school the Itty Bitty Titty Committee would tease me by asking, “When God was handing out brains were you off asking for a double helping of boobs?” Those C.U.Next Tuesdays have since developed a coke habit (not the carbonated beverage), would suck the alcohol out of a stick of deodorant and turned into such a disaster that Red Cross wouldn’t give her coffee.

Angelina Jolie’s ‘Style of Jolie’ Jewelry Line – Sneak Peak!

Who knew Angelina Jolie had a thing for fine jewelry? Jolie has collaborated on a oh-so fah-bulous jewelry collection called ‘Style of Jolie‘ with former Asprey CEO Robert Procop, and it’s currently on display at Juliens Gallery and Auction House in Beverly Hills until it gets sold for charity. Many of the designs are modeled after things that the Jolie-Pitts already own, including an emerald ring that Jolie made with Procop a few years back as a gift for Brad – and we have the video for a sneak peek of the collection!

Per E! Online:

“What we’re showing here is a collection that Angelina and I have been working on for the last nine months,” Asprey says in the clip.

“Building not only a part of her style but real artistic forms using gemstones as the centerpiece,” he adds. “But our main mission is helping children in crisis by educating children around the world.”

Now you can finally finish that look off of “husband stealer” before a night on the town! Nine months in the making, Style of Jolie features cushion, emerald, and pear cuts of stones like beryl, set in classic styles, such as riviere necklaces and drop earrings. However, one of the pieces in the display is a vintage diamond choker worn by Jolie in the movie ‘The Tourist.’ Among other pieces in the collection: A green beryl tablet earrings she wore at the film’s New York premiere, a faceted black necklace she sported at the German premiere of ‘Salt,’ a 27-carat Gem Colombian emerald ring she wore while directing her first movie in Bosnia, and Jolie’s favorite piece – a necklace assembled from the finest collection of emeralds. A portion of sale proceeds of the jewels will benefit the ‘Education Partnership for Children of Conflict,’ the charity of Jolie’s choice.

However, you can’t just pop by and gawk at the jewelery before it gets snapped up, since the gallery is invitation-only. And even if you do happen to have a few hundred thousand dollars that you’ve been saving just for a moment like this one, well… chances are you’re still out of luck, because the auction is invite-only too. So enjoy this video of Angelina’s creations, because it’s probably the most you’ll ever see of them.

Lady Gaga Falls, Director Almost Quits – PICS and VIDEO

Performers fall a lot. I can barely walk sometimes in the heels I own let alone do an entire show filled with dancing. Lady Gaga has fallen before on stage, but last Friday she really fell. You need to watch the video of Gaga’s fall off of a piano – And lucky for us, it’s been put in slow motion so you can really see how bad her fall was. Might be the best thing you see all day!

Talk about a nasty fall! But to her credit, she didn’t miss a beat! I would have died of embarrassment and crawled off of the stage. Although the fall looked pretty nasty, Gaga wasn’t injured. I’m sure she’s got some pretty big bruises on her back side though.

Meanwhile in Gaga-Land, Laurieann Gibson has been the creative director for Lady Gaga since before her fame and almost walked away from it all because of the new video for ‘Judas.’ She told the Hollywood reporter, “Listen, I don’t want lightning to strike me! I believe in the gospel and I’m not going there.” Gibson has choreographed the videos for ‘Telephone,’ ‘Alejandro,’ and ‘Born This Way‘ but felt like the idea for ‘Judas’ crossed the boundaries of religious blasphemy. The video for ‘Judas’ shows the singer take on the Bible by portraying Mary Magdalene opposite actor Norman Reedus as Judas Iscariot, and Gibson admits she flinched at some of the ideas which were put forward in meetings about the promo. She admitted that she was about to quit if it wasn’t for a compromise on the final idea for the video in the meeting.

“I do believe God inspired and worked on everyone’s heart, but yes. I would have been like, ‘Good bye, I ain’t doing it. No way.’ But the place it came to is really magical. And she’s dancing her face off.”

Catholic right activists are already on fire because of the concept for the video and they have condemned Gaga for her use of religious imagery. I could care less either way because it’s not on my conscience, but I’m getting a little sick of her copying Madonna’s wild ways. Let’s get a new creative idea there Gaga!

Is Scarlett Johansson Pregnant ?! – PHOTOS

Some not-so-flattering photos of Scarlett Johansson running with Sean Penn have hit the net and are sending some baby bump rumors running rampant. (I am feeling very Geraldo today.)

Scarlett has a bit of a belly. GASP, clutch the pearls and write to the church elders. I see it as last night’s Big Juan Burrito, but speculation is still being whispered in various media outlets. Unless she got knocked up as soon as Ryan Reynolds pack up his Perfect Push Up post break up…I highly doubt a Sean Penn baby is in there.

So don’t go looking for a baby registry at Target and give the girl a break. Don’t pretend you wouldn’t be snorting donuts after living on egg whites for the Oscars red carpet.

UPDATE: Her rep confirmed that Scarlett Johansson is NOT pregnant.

The “Nude Issue” is aimed at self empowerment and acceptance of one’s body. It confuses me as you have women with nearly already perfect bodies, personal trainers, dietitians, personal chefs and enough money to buy a 10 sets of new boobs or noses blabbering about acceptance and feeling comfortable with their bodies. Robert Pattinson’s Surprise for Kristen Stewart’s Birthday

I had envisioned Rob taking KStew on a shopping spree and making it rain at Hot Topic, but they spent the day with Twilight friends.

Kristen Stewart turned 21 and celebrated her birthday in Vancouver. Rumors that they broke up proved to be total crap (as we already told you) and Robert Pattinson even led everyone in singing ‘Happy Birthday.’

“Rob led the crowd singing for her, and you could tell she was so embarrassed but in a cute way!” says the source. “Everyone was in a good mood, but it was a bittersweet night (as filming is almost complete). Rob and Kristin were together all night,” says the insider. “They held hands and he kissed her cheek a bunch of times.”

They were joined by the Twilight cast and crew on Saturday night at Rockwell Bar and Grill in Squamish. The guest list included Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene despite Ashley’s admission they didn’t get along on set at times. After snaking on oysters, Stewart was surprised with a simple chocolate cake brought in by private caterers. Finally, she was presented with her birthday present…a motorcycle.

“Rob was so excited for Kristen and they each took turns riding it,” says the source. “Kristen learned to ride a dirt bike in New Moon so they thought it would be appropriate. Rob was supervising as she sat on it to make sure she was ok. They looked like they were having a great time, and it will be something they can really enjoy!”

Liam Neeson Cut from ‘Hangover 2’

‘Hangover Part II’ has a scene in which a tattoo artist in Bangkok inks a Tyson style tat on Stu’s face. Originally the role was going to be filled by Mel Gibson, but he was replaced after going pre-jacuzzi bj crazy. Liam Neeson stepped in to fill the roll, but re-shoots have forced his portrayal of the tattoo artist to be cut.

Todd Phillips, the director, confirmed to Variety that the Neeson was replaced. Nick Cassavetes filled the void after a problem with cut scenes and continuity forced him to re-shoot the entire tattoo sequence.

“While editing, Phillips chose to cut the scene that immediately followed Neeson’s cameo, meaning it no longer had the information necessary to logically get the Wolf Pack (Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms) to what became the next scene.

‘We were in a complete time crunch so I called up Nick and asked if he would do the part,’ Phillips explained. ‘He came in and crushed it and that is the scene that you will ultimately see in the film. (I’m excited for everyone) to see the film. It turned out great.’”

The film is still set for a Memorial Day weekend release on May 26th.

My mother will be heartbroken, but at least I won’t have to explain what “Bangkok Drippy Drip” is.

Usher’s Girlfriend Controlling His Career

Apparently Usher didn’t learn his lesson the first time around. He has another older woman calling the shots for him and taking control of his career. Hello mommy issues.

Page Six reports that shortly after his divorce from his stylist turned wife, Tameka Foster, he replaced her with Grace Miguel. Surprise. She is his stylist and now co-manager. Grace is calling the shots in his empire now and convincing him to make huge changes.

“The 43-year-old former Def Jam executive who acts as the hip-hop artist’s co-manager and stylist is urging her beau to clear out his staff including stylists, choreographers and tour managers and replace them with her people, an insider says.”

Usher’s agent, Mark Cheatham, was first to go. Miguel convinced him to fire Mark and use members of her team including a new publicity camp. CCA has removed the ‘OMG’ singer from the client roster. Don’t worry too much for Cheatham. He still represents Justin Bieber.

The report also points out that Tameka also convinced him to fire his mother, Jonetta Patton, as his manager shortly after they married. Usher played it off as a “gift of retirement” for his mom, but Foster was pulling the strings. The sources also assert that the 32 year old is at Miguel’s mercy and “will do whatever she wants him to do right now.”
