After 25 years of listening to Arnold say “Get to dah choppah!” Maria has decided to hit the ESC button on her marriage. Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger are officially separated. Technically, they both released a joint statement claiming it was a mutual split, but I would bet my booze money on Maria pulling the plug on his wrinkled banana hammock.
Via TMZ:
“After a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion and prayer, we came to this decision together. At this time, we are living apart while we work on the future of our relationship. We are continuing to parent our four children together. They are the light and center of both of our lives. We consider this a private matter and neither we nor any of our friends or family will have further comment.”
The Schwarzenegger/Shriver House that Tom Brokaw built after introducing the two in 1977 is now empty. Maria has already moved out. No other details were shared by the couple’s rep.
